Thanks for the encouraging words LadySky89, I also hope I can finish this one day.

So sad about your kickstarter experience and how badly bloggers and youtubers trated you... This has potential and I've seen much worse games getting lit and getting all favours from big names... as always, quality stays hidden, while others, we can never be sure about the reasons they always have easy way... maybe you could attempt bundles, many made it that way, and I suggest you to never give up.

Hey andyman, thanks for the feedback, we are working on a web release now (flash).
andyman Dec 7, 2013 @ 11:28pm
Just found out about your game. I'm too late for the Kickstarter, but I hope you don't give up on finishing the game. Perhaps launch a second Kickstarter with all you've learned?
yod  [author] Sep 6, 2013 @ 8:04am
@Tapewormz - good suggestion, but we are aiming more at PC right now.

@[TW] Operater - interesting phenomena, what kind of board were you in the trailer, wooden or ...?
Tapewormz Sep 5, 2013 @ 9:22pm
How about releasing this on Ouya and Nvidia Shield?
Operater Sep 4, 2013 @ 8:20am
i was board in the trailer and the game looks boaring too

If it was done Kongregate style I wouldn't mind ads actually.
yod  [author] Aug 30, 2013 @ 3:59am
Yeah, we'll be looking into flash gaming sites sponsoring now. It'll mean in-game ads though :/
ArrowSociety Aug 30, 2013 @ 3:21am
Honestly, Really good. Very suprised at your kickstarter. Maybe think about accepting donations if nothing else its a few extra dollars. Love your music. I hope you can continue development! :) Good Luck

Looks really interesting!
sh0ck-wave Aug 29, 2013 @ 7:53am
After you arm the base up with guns I'd expect it to shout 'I am SINISTAR, Beware Coward !!' and start blowing the crap outa you.

Actually looks interesting, but also I imagine your making the controls look easier then they probably are. Plus if 'every' enemy just requires the 'strafe around them shooting' technique then that's gonna get pretty old pretty fast and really kill the replay value.

You need to spice it up with ships that excel in different combat techniques .. some work better charging at the enemy (ie. strong frontal shields), others fire at 30' angles, etc etc ..
This lets the player choose a craft that's better for their playing style, and also allows you to mash up the levels and enemies to benefit some ship and weaponry choices while making others harder depending on the level objectives.

Options breeds replay value, so stack them on thick.

This reminded me a lot of a game I used to play, SubSpace. Anyways, I came here from BluesNews.com

vanmeteran Aug 22, 2013 @ 8:22pm
hey yod, you need to update your steam profile so people can get to know you better, and be more involved in your projects. it is an important step for getting steam community support.
wekateka (!) Aug 22, 2013 @ 7:26pm
Upvote for your awesome voice!

Seriously though, this game looks interesting, I would like to play this once it's on steam. Good work.

The game looks wicked, and your voice is so calming. I'd pay you to come to my house and read me the phonebook.
vanmeteran Aug 21, 2013 @ 2:20pm
you got my vote because of how conservative and hard working you seem to be.

definately contact steam and find out about trading cards, they are fun for us, and good money for you and steam!
yod  [author] Aug 21, 2013 @ 1:55pm
Thank you for your support and feedback everyone, however it doesn't look that good on our Kickstarter campaign, so yeah...

@FantasyMeister, trading cards sound fun

Looks like a good sci-fi game with an interesting story :)
HyC Aug 20, 2013 @ 10:05am
Not bad :)
mrepicbrain(ger)(brain) Aug 20, 2013 @ 9:47am
nice game
FantasyMeister Aug 20, 2013 @ 5:46am
It's not a genre I'd usually pick up, depends on price, but I do like the RTS additions and emphasis on storyline. Chuck in Steam Trading Cards and a LOT of achievements on Steam and I'll look forward to it. $5k for a Kickstarter is quite a small sum, something family/friends could help with and I'd be surprised if XBLA or PSN didn't want to publish it, but appreciate you wanting to stick with platforms you know well. I wish you luck, you got my vote :)
Sgt.Psycho Aug 20, 2013 @ 4:02am
Sorry, also watching "WTF is ORION: dino Horde" (protip: worthless even at 75% off) and being submerged in overwhelming cynicism. Point taken.

To be fair, it does seem you've done significant work since your last launch. I guess what we're missing is the sense of story and RPG described. I just don't see it in the media shown, so it's easy to dismiss it as a remake of 90's era predecessors.
yod  [author] Aug 20, 2013 @ 2:34am
@ Sgt.Psycho, yes we clearly state that in our description.

DESCRIPTION
Last Jungle In Sector 17 is a new take on the traditional top-down view space shooter with added RTS elements and a strong emphasis on story, some of the games it relates to are Subspace, Star Control and classic Asteroids.
Sgt.Psycho Aug 20, 2013 @ 2:28am
*mumble mumble* Star Control *mumble*

Thank you for the feedback everyone I'll try to answer:
@Bribe Guntails - as we are still very early to development, all is possible.
@-pg- Solid_Snake - did you like the demo?
@Johnny C - yeah, but all depends if we reach our Kickstarter goal
@Flopsy Rabbit - thanks, we are always trying to sharpen our skills
@Demonduty03 - thanks
@Libo - we haven't thought about multiplayer very deeply yet, but what you are suggesting sounds good.

@formoxa - thank you for your boring feedback.
formoxa Aug 19, 2013 @ 10:07pm
Boring
Bribe Guntails Aug 19, 2013 @ 9:51pm
Looks like a very promising game. Content-wise, it looks more like a flash game. More features such as exploration and non-combat duties would really enhance the game.
Part Time ✪ Devil Aug 19, 2013 @ 8:55pm
I would totally get this! im getting the demo
DVS-JohnnyC Aug 19, 2013 @ 8:53pm
