Hundreds of maps since I last played this excellent puzzle, so I don't remember if I did it the same way. You can't see the portal surfaces in the exit room while the funnel is blue... except for a brief moment if you jump sideways off the light bridge, then you can shoot a portal while falling. The solution is not too hard after that.

After much knitted brow frustrated concentration the solution suddenly appeared as simple. I have to do the chamber again now to see if I can do it straight with one attempt. Amazing design

Very nice. It was simpler in the end than I thought. For some reason I didn't consider one of the laser possibilities.

I tried this map on several different occasions, always feeling like the solution was obvious but just out of reach for me. Today, I solved it. Excellent chamber!

It's not that there's supposed to be a red herring, it's just that this chamber is rather poorly designed compared to my others and unintended solutions are pretty rampant

Arrrrrrrrgh!!! How much I hate it when I think in the wrong direction in the first place (in this case, mainly because one of the elements was created simply for confusing players ). Hours of torments to eventually come up with an incredibly simple solution. Elegant and ingenious as always!

a quick way to win and unintended solution.
make portal on other side,
make a new cube (destroying old one),
jump across with cube and hope you make it.
from this postion,
go here and jump.

Very nice chamber. Definitley made my brain think on how to get the cube and the laser towards the exit. Once I figured it out, I kinda felt like I should've found out sooner :P. Great chamber!

Thought this one was fairly easy.. :-) Solved in about 4 minutes as intended.. watched rectors vid after.. that way had not occured to me.. Some of your other maps? ....My head hurts.. lol Excellent job, they are pretty tough. :-)

Easy Cheat: first throw cube in pit. then put light bridge as close to the grid as possible. jump, make portal on other side. take cube to other side. set up portal to use for laser. get on light bridge. walk to funnel. use previously placed portal for reversing funnel laser. switch laser once you are on the other side. voila! you are out in record time.

Ecellent chamber, I really enjoyed this test. Very effective use of elements in getting the player to think about what to do next. Thumbs up.

My walkthrough:
The MAD Fool 7. čvc. 2013 v 3.59 odp. 
Very nice :) However, I did find a shortcut (similar to RectorRocks' solution): instead of taking light bridge to cube-- jump toward grid and create portal across from beam reverser catcher. Enter other side of room through portal can create portal so that you can go on light bridge. Go to end of light bridge-- jump down to cube, create portal where laser meets wall and jump through (a bit tricky but can do). The rest is self evident. I got to say, though, that I like the intended solution. For anyone wondering what it is here is a hint: it's all about where you first place the cube. (Hope you don't mine if I gave a hint... Hope the hint is right-- that is that I got the intended solution right.)

@ Xervil Getting in the door room should be easy right? Then play around with various placements of 1 portal in each room to retrieve cube and laser beam. I got cube first nad laser beam allignment last.

(Orange funnel on) oh I'm getting in other room.... this is easy, Oh sh-t I need to get a cube and a beam in here now too! ...but I did it. Try some of my variety

Well I solved it but I used the white surfaces in the pit (that seems to be a safe-converted-goo-pool) so I don't know if I used the expected solution... Cool puzzle anyway, nicely done ^^
