I Like it! Nicely done.

How is development coming? This page says "release early 2014", so naturally I'm hopeful that at least an update is coming soonish.

I concur! This tool does look useful, plus it's supposed to be very user-friendly

A natural media vector tool?
Very nice, I'm certainly interested!
And congratulations!
Hellmark Oct 17, 2013 @ 4:32am
This sounds like something that would be perfect for me, as I love vector, and natural media. For years my workflow included both ArtRage and Inkscape. Problem is, your software is Windows only. I don't use Windows. Can we get some Mac or Linux love?

Hoooray Steam Greenlit! A huge thank you to everyone! Expect an announcement soon!

@rared2w64 Glad you like the idea! We're looking into SVG export capabilities, but I suspect the format will be unable to capture the complexity possible in inkFish's rendering system.
blackageha Oct 16, 2013 @ 12:22pm
Congratulations!!!
Плнч Oct 11, 2013 @ 8:13am
Ohh... Just awesome :)

Wet Paint, Layers, GPU Based Rendering, Vector? I Love The Idea! My World Will Become Better If It Gets Greenlight! Will It Be Able To Calculate Pictures Into Scalabel Vector Graphics?
Laughing Man (PMA) Oct 4, 2013 @ 2:12pm

the music in the video is called Pacific Northwest Syndrome, off the album "Whatever you call it", by Newton Vs. Gravity. Its an awesome album in my opinion, so go check it out!

Bakumaster Aug 20, 2013 @ 9:36am
This looks really great, but I would prefer not to have to use a different painting software todo pixel art sand the such. Might just be me though. *shrug*
WanderLustPunk Aug 19, 2013 @ 8:21pm
This seems so much cooler and more simplified and intensified than Illustrator or Photoshop.I can't wait for it to come out!
TanyaxOh Aug 18, 2013 @ 7:24pm

Подскажите что за музыка в ролике, очень понравилась. В личку если можно.
Zable Aug 2, 2013 @ 7:03am
there are some things i love about this, but others i really dont. vector paint and the realistic watercolour mixing i love. but the UI is really putting me off. the hex shortcuts are ingenious, but everything about the program is just... it needs a lot of work
Potato smasher Aug 1, 2013 @ 12:53am
: )
Syrsly Jul 31, 2013 @ 5:53pm
I want this program, but I already have vector art programs similar to it, so the price would have to be very low before I would consider buying it. I yes-voted, though.

@Qon
Interesting question. I don't have a leap device (although I've been following leap's progress). I would bet that touch/mouse emulation will work fine with inkFish right now, however we have coded no explicit support for leap yet. I'll look into it thanks!
Qon Jul 28, 2013 @ 7:45pm
"InkFish works with any input device..."
Will it get true Leap support or do I have to use touch/mouse simulation software (the only one available from the air store is a bit buggy and limited)? Any qomment on how suitable the UI would be for Leap?
Have A Merry #kawaii Christmas! Jul 25, 2013 @ 1:09am
i might finally get a nice profil pic
battybuddy Jul 23, 2013 @ 11:16pm
A good friend of mine made this and it's his pride and joy. Hope you guys find it in your heart to vote for it, cause I sure will. :D
Kind of excited that he IS on steam greenlight to tell you the truth.
Darkmirth Jul 23, 2013 @ 5:58am
Looks really interesting :)
Sil's Chaotic Soulmate Jul 22, 2013 @ 5:17pm
I love this software. It looks like a real inspiration for unleashing creativity for people of any age. Great job. Hope you're able to give it a gentle price point ;)
pandeixon Jul 22, 2013 @ 4:21pm
Very interesting software, not only about the wet paint simmulation, but the vector painting stroke is just awesome! Tee prints could be lot easier, for example. I don't know, but compatibility with other apps/softwares could be nice, either. Hard to do, I guess, but could be very nice. Great work!
SHOXGIVEME 56-A-212. Jul 22, 2013 @ 5:49am
Awesome
coffeenebula Jul 19, 2013 @ 12:02pm
I'm learning how to paint. If I could play with virtual paint and test out designs and ideas without wasting good paint, or "paint" when I'm not home, I'd be thrilled. Looking forward to this.
WaterPuddles Jul 18, 2013 @ 12:16am
I really lovehow it lets you do what it says. I don't know how many times I went to dowmload some painting app and then itlooks like trash. I am really hyped for this, I would love to get back into drawing again. Thank you
no0ne  [author] Jul 16, 2013 @ 5:26pm
Thanks for the comments and votes everybody!
@๖ۣۜChild: I did draw my profile picture, but sadly not with InkFIsh. I drew it in photoshop many, many years ago.

@Ltblue: yeah, the watercolors are my favorite too! I spent a long time tweaking them, so I'm glad someone noticed :)

@TheNerdElite: You can work on digital art with InkFish right now! Its in open beta! you can download it from our website:

Awesome. Very good and interesting program.
teligraph Jul 15, 2013 @ 12:56pm
It looks like an interesting medium to work in. It should inspire a lot of creativity! I'm glad to see that there's a Beta.
MashPotato Jul 14, 2013 @ 11:04am
I've tried the beta, and it looks promising. Good luck with development!
