Blindrun
A little trickier than the last one. Very interesting move if what I used was intended, not too hard to execute. Once again, great aesthetics.

@ Feral, you’ve got the right idea with being in the start area with the cube and using the funnel. momentum but there’s no crazy air strafing toward the fizzler-off button required or anything like that. If you or anyone else needs a hint: is there any other area in the map that can conserve momentum?

Difficulty: 6/10
Design: 10/10
Enjoyed: 7.5/10

This is a really very elegant puzzle! Impossible as it seems, there is a solution, indeed, not even an obscure, tricky one, however not directly obvious. What I really like is it's simple design, not many different objects and still a bit difficult to solve.
SpielSatzFail 2022. okt. 5., 12:40
I hope I did it right. Did it the same way as in Bayram's solution video (my eyes need to recover now).
I juggled the cube and passed through the same portals
Very tricky!

I love puzzles like this, where everything is visible and simple to understand yet you still have that "wait, what?" moment that makes you stop and think. Thanks for making.
Feral 2020. okt. 31., 18:47
I don't know what this move is people are talking about, I think I cheesed it. If it isn't cheese, it's really inconsistent. I followed the cube through the portal from the starter area, well actually I dropped the cube above me and quickly went in, quickly got out of the transportation fluid toward the button, but the really inconsistent part is timing moving your portal so that the transportation fluid doesn't pin it to the ceiling, but it keeps momentum. Just barely got it in after like 5 tries

great one man!

nice move, ive done it before so i knew it, may be hard for those who dont. FUN
bullfrog 2018. máj. 31., 22:12
Nice one. Clever and pretty simple solution, but only if you've seen 'that move' before.
流星之夕 2017. júl. 8., 20:33
Best map i ever played!
dire.fcs 2017. jún. 28., 8:51
Nice work!
zeo1337 2017. ápr. 17., 12:33
my soluted involved tossing the cube into the air and sending it through floor portals. Does anybody know the correct way to solve this?
GrtWhtBuf 2017. febr. 10., 12:09
Excellent, you stumped me.
adamu 2016. aug. 24., 6:06
Difficult! I actually gave up, and in a night of insomnia thought of following the cube into the portal from the starter area , which gave me enough progress to solve it next time I loaded up the level. :-) Good map!
dven1 2015. dec. 11., 8:18
I give up. I don't know how to "throw" cubes like others here have described and I don't see any other way to do it.
Alkamyst 2015. aug. 26., 18:47
GENIUS PUZZLE AWESOME/10
Petutski 2015. febr. 24., 6:41
Very tricky! Very cool. Thanks!

the more good puzzle maps u do, the more solutions revealed to u. its just practice i guess. i dont make portal maps anymore but glad you enjoyed it
ChrisLP 2014. ápr. 9., 16:01
i had to follow Bayram solution video, there was no clear way, i don't know how some people can think that was easy, i got stressed up, but it's a good test, i can't imagine how could you plan this chamber, maybe it's easy to create and hard to solve. very clever, good job. Anyway, I COULDN'T SOLVE IT! add me if you can.
ChrisLP 2014. ápr. 9., 15:42
this is the second map i'm having problems solving, i didn't so far, only the first, and it looks impossible for now, i won't look the how-to yet, but it's getting me on my nerves, cause the chamber is very small and i can't solve, i have made very large chambers, and sorry, i'm not saying yours are not good, it's just not my tipe of test.
gabet4 2014. jan. 13., 11:02
I like this map it made me think outside the box . Good job

I found this chamber's solution quite enjoyable. I rarely see cube portal juggling puzzles. Good job!

The Sojourner 2013. szept. 20., 19:19
...but there are two glitches: 1) there is a sound error (I know because I hear the error.wav ("oh, fiddlesticks! sound")) and 2) the level doesn't seem to end properly.
The Sojourner 2013. szept. 20., 19:17
Thanks to prior training from the Portal Conservation Society, this one was easy. Nice test.

This one was REALLY good.

Genius.

I don't even know
HMW 2013. jún. 28., 11:46
Very nice puzzle! Seems easy at first, until you realise something's missing in the end... Also these rooms are very nicely designed.

I do however get the "fiddlesticks" sound quite often.
SkyRoots 2013. jún. 27., 20:42
I solved it the same way DeathWish808 solved it, but I'm guessing that Bayram's solution is the intended solution.
Bayram 2013. jún. 26., 8:03
I'm working my way through the Compromise series and I can well believe that you put a lot of time into these maps. They look beautiful and have excellent puzzles. This is the first that I solved, and I think I used the intended method, but because there is so much discussion I made a video of my solution . Thumbs up!
ZneX 2013. jún. 24., 18:27
That took some time... unfortunately had to look at one of the spoilers to complete. Thumbs up for a tough one.
Sweepertank 2013. jún. 23., 9:09
Very clever but strange solution, lol.
1980 2013. jún. 23., 1:18
This is a bit challenging. I spent some time to figure it out. I think I solved this one in the intended way. Nice work D:
YUKI_67 2013. jún. 22., 12:32
This is incredible ! I do not believe it: we created almost the same map ! Please staring to :

At first sight it does not look, but if you try it, you'll see the resemblance in the resolution method are incredibly similar ! *_* !

I will immediately put your maps in thumb up and favorite !
bossboy.na 2013. jún. 22., 10:11
Wow great map! The first time trying to beat it I gave up and explioted a glitch until I figured out a different solution. I used the CFG to float across, i held the cube under the emancipation grill and threw the cube into the funnel (up to the ceiling button), went back the the first funnel, and then funneled up to the top!
DrFauli 2013. jún. 22., 3:04
wow... your maps are amazing, dude! Nice design with a good looking chamber
and the puzzle was a great mindfuck for me. Took me some minutes to figure it out.

Well done, thanks for creating!
tuyuqas 2013. jún. 21., 6:07
Nice one! :) A bit easier than Part 1.
raycelbelmond 2013. jún. 19., 17:44
Excellent puzzle. Clever. Raycelbelmond
DeathWish808 2013. jún. 19., 11:35
I'm pretty sure I broke it, although it's harder than the intended solution. I fired the funnel on the angled surface, threw the cube in, and stepped on the fizzler button and just as the cube is about to hit the ceiling before it loses its momentum I fire the funnel back to the floor and the cube falls down and into the other funnel. Funnel to exit.
cyhborg 2013. jún. 19., 5:14
clever
Thomas 2013. jún. 18., 18:24
o ok
Donyel  [készítő] 2013. jún. 18., 15:18
I have played that map, but I certainly didn't knowingly copy that dialogue. There really isn't that much usable dialogue available so I made do with what I had.
Thomas 2013. jún. 18., 15:01
nice but i think it looks like you're copying Wheately's Detour because Potatos and Wheatley say the same thing. Glados says this is one of my test and Wheatley says false. :/
ghulwull 2013. jún. 18., 14:59
Not sure if I did that one right. I managed to get the cube through the last fizzler by sneaking it in through the open frames on which you can walk on. Then I was able to send the cube in the funnel by just tossing it, being careful not to get it in the fizzler, without actually crossing it. Could'nt think of anything else for keeping the funnel out for reaching the exit. Doesn't sound like the solution though...
Requiemsoul 2013. jún. 18., 14:30
Awesome puzzle!
SevenSilhouette 2013. jún. 18., 13:57
Very clever solution

All of your compromise-chambers are good work. If you ask me, this one is the best. Very nice puzzle!
