@LEBRON JAMES IS CLUTCH You drop the sconce and place it where you want, then activate it to lock it in place, grab it to add it to your inventory again.

So how does this work? Is this an item you drop and just position it? Or do you like place it on a wall or something?

@nico767c It might be difficult to script. The "OnHit" event only likes to work on NPC's. They could be summoned though.

make it a weapon like a sword so when you attack the floor in a dark cave with it you wil place it pretty much like minecraft

@Gemenai, There is a mod called Frostfall that allows you to craft your own torches which requires firewood and linen wrap.

Maybe you could add craftable torches for that ( don´t know if such a mod already exists).
It could need maybe 1 fire + 1 linen sheet.
(And in addition to that maybe a reverse crafting mod for clothes into linen like this one smelting mod weapon into ore?)
