Helljumper, any ideas on what I should use for jigglebones (for the water)? I tried the Jiggleyupanddown one but it makes the water clip through the glass. Any ideas?

YES! After forever I finally got my model to work- Helljumper, when you go to the 'Import' tab in the itemtest GUI, Which option should I pick- Hat or misc? Mine is a weapon.

No, leave the bone name the same (each character model has a bone named "weapon_bone" which is oritented in a specific way that allows them to hold the model correctly).

Thanks mate! By the way, I decompiled bonk and got it's weapon_bone, do you think it'd work if I copied the weapon_bone and pasted it and renamed it drink_splash? I think it would, as long as I write the same nonsense in the QC.

Well the best way to do it is to decompile a weapon that is similar to one you want to make (the bone structure from this decompiled model is what you'll use rather than the player model's bones). And don't use $staticprop in your QC since it isn't a static prop.

Yes, but how do you assign bones for something like that? Do you need to rotate it or something or just keep it normal and assign the bones?

Well you can't compile weapons with the importer valve has in-game. You'll have to compile them manually using something like GUIstudioMDL. But the process is basically the same (make the model > assign the bones > export).

By the way, helljumper, have any idea how to do weapons (Merging them to bones and that)? I have a scout weapon that needs a weapon_bone and a drink_splash bone, and I have no idea how to do it.
