This looked harder than it turned out to be.Nice.

This is similar to the test found in the official single player story mode by just adding asacrifice the cubepart and no turret (like the picture in the loading screen of this map). This version has a bit of crudeness to it in comparison.

I solved it in 1:30 minutes, but still a pretty nice map + great hammer skill as usual!

Thx for the map. Don't know if it is the correct way, but i used the orange tractor beam to get across the pit. My maps: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198053844875/myworkshopfiles/

Another simple masterpiece.
Reckless Jul 1, 2013 @ 10:05am
Great job! One minor thing I will mention is that you put too much shake on the explosions. It made it hard to see sometimes.
[Hi]Pseudonym Jun 16, 2013 @ 5:24pm
Was a good map, good use of the tunnel, only issue I had is getting the cube across until I realized a too simple solution.
Tmast98  [author] Jun 16, 2013 @ 2:08pm
@[DBH]*Schimmel*{H}, the funnel somtimes does this due to a workshop glitch, nothing that I did myself. If you have gotten far into the puzzle and find this an annoyance, simply press ` to open the developer consule and type in sv_cheats 1. Follow this up with typing noclip into the consule and you will be able to fly around the test chamber. Once you are where you were, type in noclip again to resume normal gameplay. Hope that helps, and sorry for that inconvience.
Miep Jun 16, 2013 @ 1:25pm
the blue transport thing is kinda bugged sometimes. you fall out without a reason while beeing in it.
Mangus Toyl Jun 15, 2013 @ 11:41pm
Perfect.

hey man, Can i help you by making a video? comment on my page if so
Blazer Jun 14, 2013 @ 5:02am
This is very good but a little short, maybe next time you can make a bigger test. Other than that this test is just awesome :).
[NTG] AuroraHD Jun 13, 2013 @ 10:58pm
This map is pretty f**king epic!
[GWJ] Kexx Jun 13, 2013 @ 9:53pm
Excellent ethics, mentality, and work, my friend. Look forward to more of your work!
Tmast98  [author] Jun 13, 2013 @ 9:12pm
@[GWJ] kexx, No problem, I just added a few clip brushes for players and physics objects, should fix that, its compiling right now. Feel free to leave replys to anything or on my workshop, I try to communicate with those who have feedback to my maps as quickly as I can, one of the things I try to pride myself in.
[GWJ] Kexx Jun 13, 2013 @ 9:10pm
a simple grating blocking the funnel source could work! Either way, thanks for replying. It's always nice to know our feedback isn't ignored by the creators. Thanks again also for creating it!
Tmast98  [author] Jun 13, 2013 @ 9:02pm
@[GWJ] kexx, thank you for reporting this. I will fix this problem now.
[GWJ] Kexx Jun 13, 2013 @ 8:50pm
Finished. Nicely done. Aside that little hick up, it's a good map. Easy, yes, but not obvious. Thumbed up. :)
[GWJ] Kexx Jun 13, 2013 @ 8:46pm
first room, if the orange funnel is on the franken cube too long, bringing him towards the source, he gets "eaten up" by the funnel, and there's no button to respawn him. Might wanna fix that! I'm still going through it, and the design is awesome. I'll have more when I finish.
T3sl4co1l Jun 13, 2013 @ 7:11pm
Well done, could've been in the original game.
Spooky Jun 13, 2013 @ 2:13pm
I really like the 'classic' puzzle style here - no gimicks - nice chamber :)
{SL™} RedPil Jun 13, 2013 @ 5:20am
Really fun, thanks dude :)
Would you mind trying one of mine ?

Nice and not too hard chamber ^^ Some unusual twists for beginners anyway :p

If you have a moment to play some maps, here is my workshop ;)
Tmast98  [author] Jun 12, 2013 @ 10:19am
@GWD9000, Ah, yes it was shorter then normal, but hopefully still fun. The reason it was short was actually due to the atmosphere. Wheatley maps take an incredibly long time to compile compared to other maps. GLaD you liked it though :).
GWD9000 Jun 12, 2013 @ 1:10am
Nice atmospherics, but it was way too short and easy. Would make a good bridging piece between other larger maps, but not really a worthy (of your quality) standalone map. I still look forward to playing anything you put out there, though ;)
Bayram Jun 11, 2013 @ 10:37am
Yeah, I would say that it's a glitch in the game. I also sometimes fall out of an excursion funnel at a very particular point in my own chamber "The Oubliette" and I certainly didn't intend that and can't trace its cause. Oh, well.
Tmast98  [author] Jun 11, 2013 @ 10:16am
Odd, must have been a glitch, as I did not create that in hammer.
Bayram Jun 11, 2013 @ 7:21am
Fabulous Hammer work, thumbs up! The puzzle was rather easy, although for some reason I keptfalling out of the excursion funnel just after changing its direction.

I have just started using Hammer by enhancing a PuzzleMaker chamber, "The Oubliette":
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=140319013. It is escape-themed, large and quite difficult, with deadly traps: No beginners, please.
Andi Jun 10, 2013 @ 9:45am
Excellent chamber, I enjoyed it very much, thumbs up.

Would you mind trying one of mine?

Not hard but did have that Wheatley "feel" to it. Nicely done.
[NGD]Quadman450 Jun 9, 2013 @ 12:59pm
Well I can't wait because this map was great! And also, I'm going to start making and publishing my own Hammer maps. I haven't even done 1 yet so hopefully you guys like them when they're done!
Tmast98  [author] Jun 9, 2013 @ 12:39pm
@Quadman450, I suppose it could be, considering this is my 4th Wheatley map, but really its a side project. I do have plans for a real project one day though.
[NGD]Quadman450 Jun 9, 2013 @ 12:35pm
Is this the start of a series or just a little side map you worked on? It was a great map.
Elsensee Jun 9, 2013 @ 12:21pm
Well played... uuhmm.. well....... well created... :D
1980 Jun 9, 2013 @ 5:37am
Fine work as always D:
Dr. Toaster Waffles Jun 8, 2013 @ 4:18pm
Wow, this felt exactly like some Wheatley map that never appeared in the game. Really nice, especially because there are so few Wheatley maps out there.
Tmast98  [author] Jun 8, 2013 @ 3:28pm
@dante, when I get the time, that is the plan. I have so many ideas and so little time! As always, watch the space!
Tim Jun 8, 2013 @ 3:05pm
nice one
dante Jun 8, 2013 @ 2:53pm
Nice! Your maps are getting so much better. Maybe you should fix killing machine 1-9 with your new aesthetic skills.
big red foot Jun 8, 2013 @ 1:35pm
good map
Tmast98  [author] Jun 8, 2013 @ 10:32am
@Antee' I will fix both right now! Thank you for the feedback.
Antee` Jun 8, 2013 @ 3:47am
Nice map - I'll try to use this type of theme on my next map for sure! The puzzle inside was short, but quite tricky and I like it. As for the bugs:
Once (only once, and I tried to reproduce it), after falling into the pit and restart, door to the main room didn't open (also there was no commentary after which this door should open).
Also final door's indicator panel have some problems with rendering.
