Can we get more options to hide more stuff, I want a lot of the icons gone (like the gun supported) also would like to not have server join/leave messages. Basically I'd like to remove everything except for the capturing information
Ruckelpeter 21. März um 19:19 Uhr
ok thx ^^

The files in the folder "Source_For_Consulting_Only" contains the source code, distributed only as a reference for developers. Just ignore them.
Ruckelpeter 21. März um 15:09 Uhr
We tried to install it on our Server but we don´t know where we have to put this Files "ClientProcessor.uc, DeclutterMyHud.uc". Both are in the "Source_For_Consulting_Only"
Please help us.^^

The RO/RS HUD isn't even cluttered to begin with, this is pointless.
PunkBusterIsShitware 10. Jan. um 4:32 Uhr
Kudos for concept. Try submitting this to tripwire as offical standard, It will be hard to get people to adopt this. simple UI options are non cheat/hack ideas and give the user personal control over their own setup.

five stars for this!
Zidious G 9. Juni 2013 um 11:58 Uhr
I guess I'll take that as a "Yes". :)

Ah, only five servers runs it so far. Hope more will join soon! Twb required login and shit and their admins/clanmembers never seem to be online.

When you subscribe, you acquire the configuration file with the most restrictive settings. You can modify those settings with the workshop interface if you want, or direclty in the config file.
For more details about editing the config file, see the mutator thread on the TWI forum[forums.tripwireinteractive.com]. There is also a list of servers that run the mutator, if you want to test online. Btw, maybe you should contact the TWB clan to encourage them to install the mutator ;)
Zidious G 9. Juni 2013 um 10:03 Uhr
@|DD|-=THOR=- So basically I don't have to do anything if I want the standard settings, other than subscribing? Hm, might just be that most servers doesn't run it yet. I tried on the popular TWB-clan servers, which are using killmessages, but no luck. Tried some other servers, no luck. I guess I have to wait a while. :D
|DD|-=THOR=-  [Autor] 8. Juni 2013 um 21:33 Uhr
@Zidious As soon as you hit 'subscribe' it intiates the workshop install sequence, which will be completed when you launch the game. You can use the workshop menu to configure the mutator (the settings will last), and add it (for the current workshop session only). If your custom maps you downloaded are bugged, try with the stock maps.

When you join a server that has the mutator enabled, your last client-side configuration will kick in.
Zidious G 8. Juni 2013 um 17:10 Uhr
Also, when I press Play Map, something loads but ends with error due to custom maps.
Zidious G 8. Juni 2013 um 16:43 Uhr
How do I install it? I find it in the game and I move it from available to enabled mutators. Then what? I press exit, and it goes back to available mutators section again. Doesnt seem to work ingame neither. What am I doing wrong?

Good news: version 1.2 has just been released! It is now white-listed and can be installed on servers!
MeFirst 4. Juni 2013 um 7:46 Uhr
Nice!

DeclutterMyHud 1.1 Released! Have a look at the updated description and screenshots!
|DD|-=THOR=-  [Autor] 1. Juni 2013 um 6:24 Uhr
@MeFirst That seems to be a Workshop issue, please report it to the TWI forum.
MeFirst 1. Juni 2013 um 5:52 Uhr
Seem to have issues with it since the release of RS. It usually is disabled every time I start the game and I have to enable it every damn time.
Specialist 31. Mai 2013 um 9:13 Uhr
Thanks man. Wish all servers had this.
Mace 31. Mai 2013 um 6:59 Uhr
Cheers, I'll give it a go
|DD|-=THOR=-  [Autor] 31. Mai 2013 um 6:57 Uhr
Yes it does
Mace 31. Mai 2013 um 6:56 Uhr
This works ok in Rising Storm?
|DD|-=THOR=-  [Autor] 31. Mai 2013 um 6:30 Uhr
Thanks for the positive comments :)
@Kasumi97: not yet, but it's on the todo list, if it's possible of course.
Ýngvaldr [LAN] 31. Mai 2013 um 5:27 Uhr
Awesome, awesome. Was surprised NOT seeing this ingame already playing today.
Alena Pavlova39 30. Mai 2013 um 16:22 Uhr
Does the crosshairs stay on action mode?
|DD|-=THOR=-  [Autor] 30. Mai 2013 um 12:06 Uhr
No worries ;)
XXLpeanuts 30. Mai 2013 um 12:06 Uhr
awh now i feel bad for even saying anything :D. Nice one man, good way to help as many people as possible, my apologies for the tone of my original posts.
XXLpeanuts 30. Mai 2013 um 12:04 Uhr
Yes it upsets me when people insult them simply because compared with almost every other game company they are bloody angels, they listen to the community, try their best given the size of their team and budget, and i think people who complain simply dont acknowledge this, and thats a shame because they deserve a lot better from the community.
|DD|-=THOR=-  [Autor] 30. Mai 2013 um 12:03 Uhr
P.S.: I added your link to the mutator description.
|DD|-=THOR=-  [Autor] 30. Mai 2013 um 12:01 Uhr
Thanks for the suggestion. On another note, I agree that insulting TWI is not the right way to voice a suggestion though. The TWI suggestion forum is the best place to state those, and have some hope to see those options integrated in the game!
XXLpeanuts 30. Mai 2013 um 11:57 Uhr
I only claimed you can select what you want to be removed and what to keep, personally i dont like having a hud at all so i remove everything and only use the hud when i need it, again i see the value in your mutator but surely the people interested in this are those interested in full immersion and realism (true your mod provides this and i thank you for modding the game at all, really i love modders :) ) and so the ini edit seems like a perfectly good clientside answer to this issue.
|DD|-=THOR=-  [Autor] 30. Mai 2013 um 11:55 Uhr
"the thing i suggest can be customized with what ever you want to be removed as well"
Can you explain how to make player names be filtered out differently? How to make the announcements go to the top? How to hide the 'use-key' tips while showing the peripheral indicators and the stamina bar? Key binds have their limits. This mutator answers to those limits.
XXLpeanuts 30. Mai 2013 um 11:51 Uhr
While my second comment was a bit heated, the thing i suggest can be customized with what ever you want to be removed as well, i dont mean to take away from your mod at all, it serves a purpose (admittedly one i feel is not worth the fact its a mutator) I just got angry at people who blame TWI for not implimenting this when its already do able.
|DD|-=THOR=-  [Autor] 30. Mai 2013 um 11:50 Uhr
@Sgt.XXLpeanuts[1stMB] I suggest that you try the mutator before insulting people. It allows to *selectively* toggle on/off parts, to filter them differently, or to move them elsewhere. What you suggest is to simply toggle the WHOLE thing on or off with a key bind.
XXLpeanuts 30. Mai 2013 um 11:35 Uhr
Guys you can all do this in the ROgame.ini and use it on all servers no need for this, its a simple ini edit that removes the hud apart from when T is pressed, and map works fine and all, i only play RO2/RS like this now.

Good news! I have tested the mutator, and it is fully compatible with Rising Storm!
fondlemyballs (달링) LG 30. Mai 2013 um 10:54 Uhr
Does this work for Rising Storm?
|DD|-=THOR=-  [Autor] 30. Mai 2013 um 10:26 Uhr
Scaling/Filtering/Removal of the kill feed is in my todo list ;)
Blakluma 30. Mai 2013 um 10:23 Uhr
If this could take out that annoying kill feed, then this would be used by ever single realism in RO2 and RS.
CAP Cadet 2dLt 29. Mai 2013 um 19:06 Uhr
Sweet. Really looking forward to this mod and Rising Storm. I don't have the game yet, but I like the rifleman class anyway. :P
|DD|-=THOR=-  [Autor] 29. Mai 2013 um 19:01 Uhr
The mutator should be compatible with Rising Storm. I will make sure it does tomorrow when the game will release. But I'm still waiting for the mutator to be white-listed by Tripwire, so don't expect to see it on ranked servers yet.
Das Boot? 29. Mai 2013 um 16:11 Uhr
When I watched the video, I thought I got a message on Skype lol
Lirian 29. Mai 2013 um 15:15 Uhr
Very nice. I guess you can port your mod to Rising Storm easily ?
CAP Cadet 2dLt 27. Mai 2013 um 16:03 Uhr
Very nice mod. They really should have had something like this to begin with.
Vincent 27. Mai 2013 um 8:56 Uhr
Very nice mod, how annoying the tactical hud can be ! making miss a shoot time to time.
thank you !
|DD|-=THOR=-  [Autor] 26. Mai 2013 um 17:04 Uhr
@Naroden strelec: Two things can obstruct the middle of the screen: the announcements and the objectives when the tactical overlay pops up after capping a territory. Both of these issues are addressed by this mutator. As you can see in the video, the announcements can be pushed to the top, and it is possible to prevent the tactical overlay from popping up after a territory has been capped.
|DD|-=THOR=-  [Autor] 26. Mai 2013 um 9:39 Uhr
@Macattack: If you refer to the "showhud" console command, it is simply a question of preference. That commands hides everything. Not everyone wants everything to disappear. Some widgets are more annoying than others, it's up to your personal preference. For instance, if you use the "showhud" command, you won't be advised when you team-kill, and won't be able to read the chat/server admin messages. Also, if the server has peripheral indicators ON, you won't see them, which will be a disadvantage for you vs the other players. This mutator gives you the choice over what parts you want to hide/move.
[SW] MacAttack 26. Mai 2013 um 8:01 Uhr
How is this any different from having no hud in realism mode? I guess it could come in handy for normal game modes, but most servers run realism mode anyway.

And you can press "T" to see flag locations and other objects (aka, HUD elements).
