Thank you but I already found another one here, it's exactly the same topic posted by another user: https://www.reddit.com/r/redorchestra/comments/3hya98/a_guide_to_tweaking_red_orchestra_2_heroes_of/

The topic was deleted, can you at least post how to make the toggle hud thing please?

Hello, is it possible to make a mod that changes the main menu's background and theme to a darker one. It is really white and bright and it really hurts my eyes when I play at night.

This original menu was a lot better in my opinion:

The new menu makes me feel like the developers have thrown a flashbang in my face.

Thanks a lot, I got it working. Great mod btw. Really increasing the immersion.

The mutator used to work on servers, idk if it still does. The instructions are available on the Tripwire Interactive forum: http://forums.tripwireinteractive.com/showthread.php?t=90991

Hey, is it possible to use this on my server? I noticed it only works when I activate it as mutator on steam workshop singleplayer maps. I usually launch my own LAN server with steamCMD and join on it to play, but I have no idea how to get this running on the server - is it even possible?
الله 20. okt 2014 kl. 6:25
Can i just subscribe to it and then add it in the RO2 menu and it will work ?
Gubernub 22. apr 2014 kl. 17:21
Can we get more options to hide more stuff, I want a lot of the icons gone (like the gun supported) also would like to not have server join/leave messages. Basically I'd like to remove everything except for the capturing information
[SB] Ruckelpeter 21. mar 2014 kl. 19:19
ok thx ^^
|DD|-=THOR=-  [ophavsmand] 21. mar 2014 kl. 19:17
The files in the folder "Source_For_Consulting_Only" contains the source code, distributed only as a reference for developers. Just ignore them.
[SB] Ruckelpeter 21. mar 2014 kl. 15:09
We tried to install it on our Server but we don´t know where we have to put this Files "ClientProcessor.uc, DeclutterMyHud.uc". Both are in the "Source_For_Consulting_Only"
Please help us.^^

The RO/RS HUD isn't even cluttered to begin with, this is pointless.
250RoundMags 10. jan 2014 kl. 4:32
Kudos for concept. Try submitting this to tripwire as offical standard, It will be hard to get people to adopt this. simple UI options are non cheat/hack ideas and give the user personal control over their own setup.

DO U KNO DE WEY 28. sep 2013 kl. 8:44
five stars for this!
Zidious G 9. jun 2013 kl. 11:58
I guess I'll take that as a "Yes". :)

Ah, only five servers runs it so far. Hope more will join soon! Twb required login and shit and their admins/clanmembers never seem to be online.
|DD|-=THOR=-  [ophavsmand] 9. jun 2013 kl. 10:24
When you subscribe, you acquire the configuration file with the most restrictive settings. You can modify those settings with the workshop interface if you want, or direclty in the config file.
For more details about editing the config file, see the mutator thread on the TWI forum [forums.tripwireinteractive.com] . There is also a list of servers that run the mutator, if you want to test online. Btw, maybe you should contact the TWB clan to encourage them to install the mutator ;)
Zidious G 9. jun 2013 kl. 10:03
@|DD|-=THOR=- So basically I don't have to do anything if I want the standard settings, other than subscribing? Hm, might just be that most servers doesn't run it yet. I tried on the popular TWB-clan servers, which are using killmessages, but no luck. Tried some other servers, no luck. I guess I have to wait a while. :D
|DD|-=THOR=-  [ophavsmand] 8. jun 2013 kl. 21:33
@Zidious As soon as you hit 'subscribe' it intiates the workshop install sequence, which will be completed when you launch the game. You can use the workshop menu to configure the mutator (the settings will last), and add it (for the current workshop session only). If your custom maps you downloaded are bugged, try with the stock maps.

When you join a server that has the mutator enabled, your last client-side configuration will kick in.
Zidious G 8. jun 2013 kl. 17:10
Also, when I press Play Map, something loads but ends with error due to custom maps.
Zidious G 8. jun 2013 kl. 16:43
How do I install it? I find it in the game and I move it from available to enabled mutators. Then what? I press exit, and it goes back to available mutators section again. Doesnt seem to work ingame neither. What am I doing wrong?
|DD|-=THOR=-  [ophavsmand] 6. jun 2013 kl. 15:59
Good news: version 1.2 has just been released! It is now white-listed and can be installed on servers!

DeclutterMyHud 1.1 Released! Have a look at the updated description and screenshots!
|DD|-=THOR=-  [ophavsmand] 1. jun 2013 kl. 6:24
@MeFirst That seems to be a Workshop issue, please report it to the TWI forum.
MeFirst 1. jun 2013 kl. 5:52
Seem to have issues with it since the release of RS. It usually is disabled every time I start the game and I have to enable it every damn time.
Splinter 31. maj 2013 kl. 9:13
Thanks man. Wish all servers had this.
Mace 31. maj 2013 kl. 6:59
Cheers, I'll give it a go
|DD|-=THOR=-  [ophavsmand] 31. maj 2013 kl. 6:57
Yes it does
Mace 31. maj 2013 kl. 6:56
This works ok in Rising Storm?
|DD|-=THOR=-  [ophavsmand] 31. maj 2013 kl. 6:30
Thanks for the positive comments :)
@Kasumi97: not yet, but it's on the todo list, if it's possible of course.
[SW] Ýngvaldr 31. maj 2013 kl. 5:27
Awesome, awesome. Was surprised NOT seeing this ingame already playing today.
Alena Pavlova39 30. maj 2013 kl. 16:22
Does the crosshairs stay on action mode?
|DD|-=THOR=-  [ophavsmand] 30. maj 2013 kl. 12:06
No worries ;)
[RIP] XXLpeanuts 30. maj 2013 kl. 12:06
awh now i feel bad for even saying anything :D. Nice one man, good way to help as many people as possible, my apologies for the tone of my original posts.
[RIP] XXLpeanuts 30. maj 2013 kl. 12:04
Yes it upsets me when people insult them simply because compared with almost every other game company they are bloody angels, they listen to the community, try their best given the size of their team and budget, and i think people who complain simply dont acknowledge this, and thats a shame because they deserve a lot better from the community.
|DD|-=THOR=-  [ophavsmand] 30. maj 2013 kl. 12:03
P.S.: I added your link to the mutator description.
|DD|-=THOR=-  [ophavsmand] 30. maj 2013 kl. 12:01
Thanks for the suggestion. On another note, I agree that insulting TWI is not the right way to voice a suggestion though. The TWI suggestion forum is the best place to state those, and have some hope to see those options integrated in the game!
[RIP] XXLpeanuts 30. maj 2013 kl. 11:57
I only claimed you can select what you want to be removed and what to keep, personally i dont like having a hud at all so i remove everything and only use the hud when i need it, again i see the value in your mutator but surely the people interested in this are those interested in full immersion and realism (true your mod provides this and i thank you for modding the game at all, really i love modders :) ) and so the ini edit seems like a perfectly good clientside answer to this issue.
|DD|-=THOR=-  [ophavsmand] 30. maj 2013 kl. 11:55
"the thing i suggest can be customized with what ever you want to be removed as well"
Can you explain how to make player names be filtered out differently? How to make the announcements go to the top? How to hide the 'use-key' tips while showing the peripheral indicators and the stamina bar? Key binds have their limits. This mutator answers to those limits.
[RIP] XXLpeanuts 30. maj 2013 kl. 11:51
While my second comment was a bit heated, the thing i suggest can be customized with what ever you want to be removed as well, i dont mean to take away from your mod at all, it serves a purpose (admittedly one i feel is not worth the fact its a mutator) I just got angry at people who blame TWI for not implimenting this when its already do able.
|DD|-=THOR=-  [ophavsmand] 30. maj 2013 kl. 11:50
@Sgt.XXLpeanuts[1stMB] I suggest that you try the mutator before insulting people. It allows to *selectively* toggle on/off parts, to filter them differently, or to move them elsewhere. What you suggest is to simply toggle the WHOLE thing on or off with a key bind.
[RIP] XXLpeanuts 30. maj 2013 kl. 11:35
Guys you can all do this in the ROgame.ini and use it on all servers no need for this, its a simple ini edit that removes the hud apart from when T is pressed, and map works fine and all, i only play RO2/RS like this now.
|DD|-=THOR=-  [ophavsmand] 30. maj 2013 kl. 11:30
Good news! I have tested the mutator, and it is fully compatible with Rising Storm!
fondlemyballs (epic balls) 30. maj 2013 kl. 10:54
Does this work for Rising Storm?
|DD|-=THOR=-  [ophavsmand] 30. maj 2013 kl. 10:26
Scaling/Filtering/Removal of the kill feed is in my todo list ;)
MaelstormWandererIsBS 30. maj 2013 kl. 10:23
If this could take out that annoying kill feed, then this would be used by ever single realism in RO2 and RS.
