Yes! A red food symbol. I was so confused at the gold wheat symbol; "Why do I have two gold stockpiles?".

I'll definately make a new version when i get the chance as I've started playing it myself, unfortunately I've forgotten the file structure/modding for the files atm. I mod too many things xD I need to dl all the third party tools again.

Great job! This is a real remastered work. By the way Would be posible a work for the Forgotten icons in the future? Mayans, Incas and Aztecs looks well whit a corn in the food icon (because their base of feeding was that, the corn) but the others civs have to wait many centuries after the middle age to knows something about this food.

It does not seem to work in multiplayer v3.7F :-(

I can give you the Forgotten slp files if you want :) basically they just added 5 new slp files for each new civ

Hey WKjun, hadn't noticed if i can locate the files i will update them in the near future. It's prettey odd how the files are stored, every civ and the menu file contains its own version of the food icon rather than their just being 1 file. They were probably too amataur to realise they'd missed it.

The corn was a last minute addition i imagine, its actually the icon used in the original age of empires alpha/beta testing. It was changed for obvious reasons, so i have no idea why they would change it to that. It's quite obvious the team has no artists though otherwise there would actually be appropriate graphical improvements to the game.

If i can think of good clear icons I'll look into changing the top 4 buttons.

Hi there! I like the classic icons very much! Are there any plans of remastering the deplomacy icons too? They look ok, but I wonder why they forgot to change the meat icon into corn there. Although I do not understand the reason why they've changed it to corn anyway. ;)

what files were you editing before? and how did you edit them Ill try my hand at editing them if you dont mind.

Hey guys, as of yet I haven't had time to purchase the forgotten. However rest assurred that I will be purchasing the game and looking into the reason for the issue in the near future asap. It is likely to be related The forgotten team adding new files for all civilizations User interfaces.

Could you imagine if they'd just hired an artist to work on the game for a month. Too much to ask for a paid remake Microsoft?

Yeah, the use of corn in the new icons is very stupid: first corn was imported from Mexico, so it comes in Europe just after the middle ages...not in AOE II time which occurs in medieval times. Second, use corn symbol in for the symbol whereas villagers got meat icon when they gather food is...awkward.
