I think these Gauntlets look fucking badass, keep up the great work.

[ http://tf3dm.com/3d-model/jack-of-blades-28108.html ] This model is for Jack of blades. This cool fable villain must be imported into armor, no one has accepted the challenge of making the model into skyrim armor. Please help by reposting this through steam or anywhere else to make my dream come true. Thank you ^-^

I love the work and lore put into this mod, great job.
WeenieSlayer Sep 24, 2014 @ 10:31pm
I like the designs and also probs for keeping the gems on the hands, keep up the good work
Altaire Sep 13, 2014 @ 8:16pm
i think this is cool

Even if the boomerang was a spell, that wouldn't really solve the issue of making it return to the player.
ZeroKurosa Aug 9, 2014 @ 1:21pm
the boomerang could be custom spell
JKalenad  [author] Aug 9, 2014 @ 1:17pm
The Hero's Bow is definitely possible. I made a few bows for my main project, Relics of Hyrule (which is too big for the Workshop). Bombs would be tricky, though, and I'm fairly certain that a throwable, returning boomerang would be impossible in Skyrim's engine.
ZeroKurosa Aug 9, 2014 @ 1:07pm
k i was thinking of something like the Hero's bow, the boomerang and the bombs
JKalenad  [author] Aug 9, 2014 @ 12:50pm
If you want to, go ahead.
ZeroKurosa Aug 9, 2014 @ 12:35pm
ok but cani sugest a few item mods?
JKalenad  [author] Aug 9, 2014 @ 12:34pm
I think they have to be, in order for it to make their presence in Skyrim make sense.
ZeroKurosa Aug 9, 2014 @ 12:30pm
so basicly all ur legend of zelda mods are a part of a custom story line?
JKalenad  [author] Aug 9, 2014 @ 12:26pm
All of my mods are built from the perspective that these items are relics of Hyrule after it was destroyed in a massive war, and the Skyrim region grew from the ashes, so to speak, with these artifacts being the only things left.
ZeroKurosa Aug 9, 2014 @ 12:17pm
"a war-mage could have modified their enchantment for use in the Last Great War of Hyrule."
huh?
JKalenad  [author] Aug 9, 2014 @ 12:05pm
In Zelda, yes, but in Skyrim, you don't have to lift anything terribly heavy. And there's a telekinesis spell. And there are already items that fortify carrying capacity, making the gauntlets obsolete if that's all they did.
So my logic was this: The Golden Gauntlets make it easier to lift heavy things, and with the proper training, they could conceivably be used to lift heavy weapons, making the wearer more adept at swinging weapons. And if they are enchanted to only lift really heavy things, then a war-mage could have modified their enchantment for use in the Last Great War of Hyrule.
ZeroKurosa Aug 9, 2014 @ 11:29am
the golden guantlets dont actualy increase Link's attack power. only his streanth to lift things
JKalenad  [author] Nov 11, 2013 @ 9:44am
I have a feeling the mod wo'n't return to the Workshop. It probably got too large, with so many armors included.
leewalt48 Nov 11, 2013 @ 9:40am
Thumps up I like the gauntlets the way they are.My question is the helm your wearing was one I used went I first started but my toon when to higher level armors.I started a new toon and wanted to use that mod again but O NO its not on streamwork shop.Do you know if it might return to streamwork shop? THANKS FOR THE SHARE OF YOUR MOD.
JKalenad  [author] Oct 25, 2013 @ 11:08pm
Sorry to disappoint, but I never do that with my mods.
Did you actually try them yet? There's no real "superlifting" that goes with them. That would be needlessly complicated to implement. The Gauntlets fortify your carry weight by a little and speed up your swing speed a little, but I tried my best to make them balanced enough to be valuable tools rather than overpowered cheats.
Plus, the Golden Gauntlets are in Forelhost, which is a rather difficult dungeon, making retrieving them a decent reward.
JKalenad  [author] Oct 18, 2013 @ 10:29pm
You're very welcome! And thank you so much for your nice comment!
My two goals for all of my Zelda mods are to respectfully connect Zelda lore to Elder Scrolls lore, and to make a Zelda item look and act as though it belongs in the world of Skyrim, so I really am glad you appreciate my efforts to do so.
GadTheWanderer Oct 18, 2013 @ 9:24pm
i haven't quite gotten around to going to get the gauntlets yet, but i love your backstory. the 2 sets of gauntlets were awesome in LoZ and i cant tell you how happy i am that you actually took the time to create a new lore that would fit perfectly into either game. i cant count how many people just make OP gear simply to reference other games and i'm super glad you didnt. thank you.

What Are The console Commands
Link-X-Malon Sep 11, 2013 @ 6:24pm
Aw well, sorry for asking.
JKalenad  [author] Sep 11, 2013 @ 6:17pm
I don't do requests.
Also, Malon doesn't fit into the lore of my Zelda mods.
Link-X-Malon Sep 11, 2013 @ 6:07pm
Say, do you think you could do a follower mod for me? I really want Malon as a follower, but my creation kit won't work properly.
JKalenad  [author] Sep 11, 2013 @ 3:46pm
The Ancient Falmer Gaunlets do look rather similar in shape to the Ebony gauntlets>
As I say in the description, the Silver Gauntlets are light and the Golden Gauntlets are heavy. In my Nexus exclusive compilation Relics of Hyrule, however, you can change that.
Determined Soul Sep 11, 2013 @ 5:36am
well i did think because it looks kind of like the falmer gauntlets but is it heavy or light or both
JKalenad  [author] Sep 10, 2013 @ 1:30pm
The gauntlets do not require DLC. They're based on gauntlets from the base game.
Determined Soul Sep 10, 2013 @ 11:38am
does it need dlc
Link-X-Malon Sep 3, 2013 @ 1:42pm
Ah, thats all i needed thanks. Zelda, get my fresh green tunic, I'm going searching!
JKalenad  [author] Sep 3, 2013 @ 1:40pm
I have a video explaining that in the images bar up there. I'll link to it in the description.
In vague terms, Forelhost is in the southeastern part of the Rift, and Ragnvald is in Hjaalmarch.
Link-X-Malon Sep 3, 2013 @ 1:28pm
Where the hell is Ragnvald and Forelhost?
JKalenad  [author] Aug 12, 2013 @ 10:54pm
Yep. That is exactly the case. The Terminan Shield and Great Fairy Sword are both worth 2000, and the Mirror Shield of the Great Sea is worth 2002. References to the years Majora's Mask and Wind Waker came out. :)

Oh, and in my upcoming compilation of my Zelda mods, you'll be able to convert the Golden Gauntlets to light armor and the Silver Gauntets to heavy, among other bonuses.
oomomow Aug 12, 2013 @ 10:50pm
I just noticed that the value number for the Bigoron's Sword, Goron Heavy Armor, Goron Circlet, Megaton Hammer, and I think the Master Sword from your Ocarina of Time stuffs mods are 1998. Is that supposed to be a reference to when the game came out?
oomomow Aug 11, 2013 @ 8:53pm
I wished I used Heavy Armor because the Golden Gauntlets (to me at least) look beautiful. The Silver Gauntlets are too bright and big. The silver ones look beautiful too, just not my taste.
Scatman John Aug 10, 2013 @ 3:29pm
A fair point. It was a passing thought.
JKalenad  [author] Aug 10, 2013 @ 9:26am
I ca'n't use a mesh from a DLC and redistribute it for vanilla users. If it's not illegal, it's immoral.
Retexturing is also not exactly easy. I'll try something like the Steel Plate gauntlets for the Silver gauntlets, but I ca'n't promise anything.
Scatman John Aug 9, 2013 @ 11:36pm
After recently purchasing Dragonborn and Dawnguard, I found that Stalhrim Light Bracers are a dead ringer for the Silver/Golden Gauntlets from OoT, given a little tweaking of course. Could be a possible fix for your meshing issues, as they seem to mesh pretty well with most everything.

Probably miles ahead of this by now :P My bad for being cheap and waiting for a 50% off sale on the DLC lol.
TywinLannister64 Aug 6, 2013 @ 10:17am
exellent c'ant wait :P
JKalenad  [author] Aug 6, 2013 @ 9:03am
Sometime this week, I think. I ca'n't say for sure.
TywinLannister64 Aug 5, 2013 @ 9:48pm
its ok :P whene do you think the next thing comming out :P
JKalenad  [author] Aug 5, 2013 @ 8:43pm
Actually, no, I ca'n't do that. I spent so much time on the current tunics that making an entirely new set that only looks different is simply not going to happen.
TywinLannister64 Aug 5, 2013 @ 8:39pm
and can you make the goron and zora tunic more in still of the one from twillight princess just with a differente colors :)
TywinLannister64 Aug 5, 2013 @ 8:38pm
GOD SLINGSHOT LOL XD i cant think of nothing but im sure that you gonna surprise me :P
