Used to love the heart alchemy mod, this one crashes everything. As you said do not update without expansions.

Alas, such is the way of this crap game engine. Why they would choose to use the FarCry engine is beyond me. Apologies my friend.

Finally! After an hour of turning mods on and off this is the one that has been crashing my game before it even has a chance to load all the way! Strange.

Like completely, no creatures, npc's, or anything is dropping hearts. Tried to subscribes multiple times and such, turning it off then back on but nothing happens :(

Question! Is Star Silt supposed to be so heavy? Just realized it has a weight of 20 and just wondered if that's intentional or a mistake. Not a big deal either way, since I have a small army of followers to carry all my junk, just curious.

@ mineguypete - It would probably conflict, I've never checked how he scripted that.
@ Mey Mew - The mudcrab should be a simple talk and buy option. Perhaps you should reload the mod? Uninstall, save, reinstall, save. You'd lose all the current hearts you have, though.

Ok, found the mudcrab merchant, but it doesn't seem to have any options for buying or selling. It just keeps saying hi and such in a child's voice.

Defnitely have the mod active. I've been getting all kinds of hearts from the things I loot. I'll have to try the merchant again when I get detect life. Don't have it yet my currentl playthrough. Might be a while, though. I seem to be having several issues so I'm trying to figure out which mod(s) are causing the problems. :(

nope, it wouldn't matter about the other one. First, check that my mod is active (i.e. you can find hearts) then go to a small island between Merryfair farm and Goldenglow estate. Use Detect Life if you get lost. It's really close to the farm. Just folow the coast.

I can't find the Mudcrab Merchant. I'm positive I'm in the right place, but nothing. Could it be because I have another Mudcrab Merchant from another mod? That one is placed in a different location, on the other side of Skyrim, and I didn't notice him having a bunch of hearts when I talked to him, but I just can't find any signs of the one from this mod.

you want me to delete it? As I mentioned, I overlooked it from a previous incarnation of the mod. It would be difficult as I don't have anything installed anymore. If it bothers you, you can delete it from the database.

i have a problem, for some reason, i looted a Consecrated Dagger on a Dragon priest...and its coming from your Mod, it have the same Sprite as the Dragon priest Dagger

Actually, after rearranging the mods, and deleting a few that I did not need, it straightened itself out. First, put this mod on the bottom of the list, then after you download several other mods of your choice, leave this mod where it is on the list. Don't move it after downloading those other mods. It'll still work! This mod is first on my mod list, but last on the expansion list, because expansions always come first. Shuffle your mods occasionally, except for the ones that require them to be on the bottom of the download list. Make sure that any mods that are deleted are completely off the list and off of your computer.

I am also having the issue with this mod causing my game to crash, and when I remove the mod, I cannot load any of my old saves.

I don't know why, as it was working very recently.

This mod no longer works for me. It crashes my game every time I try to start it. :( Steam automatically updates my mods, so I couldn't avoid updating. Is there any way you'll be able to get it back working again, or should I just delete the mod?

I think the update to this mod broke my game somehow. I can't seem to get the Oblivion Walker achievment after this mod had gotten its update. I don't know why. I did everything that was required and I still didn't get it. Is there a fix to it?

@zach By nature, many of these hearts are hard or impossible to get in the normal way. Each race has been given a percentage of failure according to size and availability. Complete hearts are more difficult to extract from smaller creatures due to weapon damage as well as the main method of killing someone would be damage to their heart. Also, the more prominent races have less chance of extraction in order to keep their hearts down to a managable level, otherwise you could build up over 2K human/elf hearts faster than you would think.

hearts are hard to get but i slughtered whiterun and got 1 human heart thats 1 down a lot to go lol is it suposed to be like that?

@palorius, It may not have been that mod since at the time i did not know i hit the modding limit as you know when you go over 255 mods your game gose funny, anyway it may have been just that or its conflicting with another mod.

@ MinecraftanGamer Yes, you are correct. I forgot to correct the text, but the 3% is still the same. I no longer have Skyrim installed, so unfortunately I can't correct it. I think it should be ok though, don't you?

Do you think that you would be able to make this compatible with Harvest Overhaul? It modifies the deathdrops for quite a few creatures in Skyrim, and I'm pretty sure it overwrites what your mod does.

Text bug: For some reason, this mod edits the Saarthal Amulet's description to say "All spells are less to cast" rather than "Spells cost 3% less to cast."
