Fun map. Thanks for making it. But what was that thing at the end, A gel plate?

ITS TOO HARD!!!

Artfully done. Thanks!

Fun. Good challenges. The blue gel room at the end, while not a puzzle or challenge, was a fun little addition.

very attractive, fun casual map. maybe some ideas that never can to fruition left in there, not sure on that, but pointless or not i like seeing people resurrect mechanics that got dumped from the original game

Yep! 5 stars in my book. Great job,

This map was fun, though fairly easy as you stated in the description. A couple comments to consider for future maps: The vacuum vent seemed a little pointless for a couple of reasons. You (Chell) can't get sucked into it, and it's not necessary for disposing of the turrets. In fact, you don't even need to dispose of the turrets anyway. The other comment has already been stated by others; the HEP only launches every second or third time the button is pressed. That being said, it's still a nice map and the old tech theme is enjoyable.

could have been a map in portal 2, if everything was labled

That's the problem with new/old test elements. No purpose whatsoever. And the energy pellet thingie is buggy as fuck, sometimes it shoots nothing, sometimes it shoots a pink checkered (missing texture) transparent box that bounces the fuck around and never goes through the door.

Nice map, thanks!

very well made map. This map was featured on my channle, ran the map in 2:15.09 seconds. really good run and the map was really enjoyable to run.

Very cool! Really love the retro look and enjoyed the puzzles. I did have problems with the HEP not firing reliably though, which was kind of weird.
If you'd be so kind, please play one of my chambers:

Nice map.

Meh, not really my cup of tea. I don't think the new testing elements really add anything to the gameplay, and that ending - I just don't find rollercoasters to be fun.

And, what's up with asking for money? lol, get a job. (okay, maybe that last one is a bit trollish, but much better map makers than you do it without asking for anything)

Try my new test, Zen!
LØNNESÆTJ May 1, 2013 @ 6:25pm
I liked this one a lot! But there's a slight issue with the purple energy ball [PUZZLE SPOILER WARNING, sort of]; it often hits an invisible wall when it's supposed to go through the doorway (the one you hold open by standing on a button), takes extreme portal precision and a bit of luck to get it through. Also, when you screw up, it often takes two or three pushes of the button the respawn the energy ball, which was a little annoying. Other than that, two thumbs up!

Thank you for defining the term (solicit) I used on my initial post. This is too much work for a bloody vocabulary lesson.

Digital Abacus: I cannot ask you to give me money to play the test. I can ask for donations for a cause unrelated to steam. I am not redistributing steam's property for money.

Nice use of the 1970 style and other Puzzlemaker improvements, although the puzzles are quite easy. Thumbs up!

Please try my chamber "The Oubliette", which has an escape theme and features Hammer improvements to the dungeon area (but is perhaps not for beginners):

@Herpy The Derp As you infer to be versed In Intellectual Properties law, perhaps you'd be willing to represent the map creator should litigation ensue?
somejew  [author] Apr 30, 2013 @ 11:08pm
Lammiwionks: $0. I thought i would just give it a try. I guess I can't count on that there will be any donaions. Although I really do need a computer.

how much money have you made off of simply making Portal 2 maps?
katman71 Apr 30, 2013 @ 7:44pm
im going to get this IF MY PORTLE WILL DOWNLOAD!!!!

I generally liked it, but feel that the energy ball in the second part was VERY unforgiving, maybe allow a bit of leeway with the portal placement, or at least mark on the walls where to place a portal?
paul.delong Apr 30, 2013 @ 1:33pm
Am I the only one who can't get the pellet through the gate? It seems to bounce off of or graze the gate, no matter what I do. I've centered my portals in the corner as well as I can.

@Digital Abacus He can solicit money on whatever he wants. He just wants you to donate because he puts hard work in, it's not against any copywright.
Joe Stracke Apr 30, 2013 @ 1:12am
Is Steam aware that you are attempting to solicit money by marketing their copyright?
Chazz the Elder Apr 30, 2013 @ 12:20am
I'm actually more than a little surprised that you can control bounce direction with blue gel to make a roller coaster ride -- thought you needed faith plates to get that sort of control. A nice chamber...
