Neat, and worked just fine. Almost makes me want to own one of those fancy controllers.

(It's possible to jump from that cube to the far ledge, even though the fence is in the way. Really annoying and error-prone, so I wouldn't worry about it, but it's possible.)

Part of the issue is when you click the secondary fire quickly, because that causes portal and rotation brushes to become interparented, which crashes the game. Mostly everything else is based around this as well. It can't be fixed

If you know the reason why it crashes, could you please tell us? Maybe someone else can come up with a soluiton (or at least a way to avoid it crashing).

Excellent work! You gave us all a taste of what Razer Hydra is like without crashing our systems (although I do understand that it is a tad glitchy...).

The entire thing is pretty complicated. There's a rotating entity mutually parented back and forth with a prop_portal after second fire, using a game_ui. The prop_portal has 4 lasers and 4 particle systems, which creates the portalgun to portal effect. The main function is described there, there's more to it but that's the base of it.

This is an amazing invention? Can you please tell me either here in the comments or in a PM how you created this? If wish to modify the portal gun my own way and seeing what you have done my help me innovate how to make the portal gun do some other neat tricks.

Awesome map! I really like that you can rotate the portals, I had no crashes while i played this. However when i place a portal it opens regular size, then after a second it shrinks leaving a hole in the wall around it... Other than that i didn't find anything too buggy, other than turning the portal through walls, it was really fun to play. I hope you will make more levels like this one!

Side note: If you have the Six Sense Razor Hydra Motion Pack installed the game will not crash, since it is use to rotating portals.

I was just spamming portals the game let me shot them soo fast meaning an error happened and then crashed
