Its a good game and i'd want it to be on steam, but not in this way, it needs to be improoved. I don't think flashgames should be on steam, but the idea of this game is great!

We added a new video (#2 in the list) showing some sound generation and image/video blending features in the latest release. The video is a tribal dance theme with an odd 80's vocals intro. Hope you enjoy it.

Hi EndermenEmperor, the XBox is not required -- just the Kinect, which is about $99 on Amazon now. Granted that isn't cheap, but as a party feature or physical expression tool the price may be worth it for some. Also new devices are coming (from Intel & Creative and some others).

The early version of the s/w (in 2008) was using Wiimotes, you can google for "indaviz rammstein" and check the first hit. But the movements are faster empty handed. (Like in Karate. :-)

The only thing I see could be a problem is that it requires a Kinect, which is moderately expensive alone, and it in turn requires an Xbox. I personally have an Xbox but not a Kinect.
I know a lot of people who might want this won't have a kinect orpossibly even an Xbox.
Also, if all it needs is the hands, I could see this doing good on the Wii. I'm mostly just glad it isn't for that playstation ripoff, the move. It requires the eye AND the move AND a playstation.

@Diamond thanks, right now only Kinect (and family) are supported, we're looking for ways to add more hardware.

I liked it - that's interesting, you can connect three webcams ?

Thanks! Meanwhile we've added drums, as a series of wav samples played when you hit the bars -- literal air drums. (User can customize sounds.) Drumming keeps you going if the music is good. It's the 2nd video in the list.

might sound lame but I suggest adding a seizure warning the video bothered my eyes a lot.
InDaViz  [author] May 11, 2013 @ 3:07pm
LOL there's truth to that! Ideally you would want the visuals to be generated just by imagining them (e.g. via a BCI device), and in a 3D holographic space around you.

it's a tripping on acid simulator?

I'm not sure Visikord meets the conditions for being called a game. It is used for entertainment but its purpose is free expression so it doesn't have challenges and measurable goals. Please let us know what you think though. We did plan to submit the Challenge mode only in the game section.

Shouldn't this be on the game list instead of software?
