Nice mixing pti map with hammer theme, (the last laser puzzle is very cool). Thumbs up

Super test chamber. The lower level had me stumped until I started looking under every plant!

Nice puzzle. A bit tricky, buggy and long, but funny. Thanks.
I recorded my gameplay (valve DEM file format): Download [dl.dropboxusercontent.com]. Comments inside video.

Turrets highly explosive. Handle with care

I agree with Skyferret and did the same thing. Excellent puzzles. I really enjoyed playing them. Thank you.
Skyferret Jul 16, 2013 @ 10:27pm
Ferrets don't have thumbs, so 2 paws up. That was a good map. The last part had me thinking for a bit. Those were some wicked angles I had to bend that laser at. When I got to the last door, I figured that this is easy, just go get a new cube. I didn't keep track of which cube I had, and realized one of them is going to fizzle. I ended up picking the correct cube dropper though.

THAT..... Was a ton of fun! very nice work. The last room had my mind twisting a bit.. I played with a few variations, including the thought of using the redirection cubes that were still in the droppers...

I had a lot of fun solving this interesting challenge. Great looking chambers. Some eye opening twists. Puzzles were medium to hard and the last one was very good. The chamber with the funnel and laser was a little strange for me but I eventually got through it. Will definitely be looking at more of yours. Stop around and see some more of mine when you can. See ya round the workshop.

Ok, I've updated the level and converted most of the antlines into signs. I've also prevented the button + laser catcher combo. As for the end, true if you haven't been paying attention, but it's not random, it just requires a little memory of which cube went where :)

Thanks for playing, and glad you like it
Geneosis Jul 5, 2013 @ 3:13pm
If you don't see what I was talking about here is a screenshot of the problem... For the rest the puzzles were cool ^^ Only little bad point at the end : 50% chances to fizzle the wrong cube and have to do it all again -_- But I liked it anyway :p
Geneosis Jul 5, 2013 @ 3:00pm
Seriously, it's really hard to understand which button you should or should not activate in the first room -_- As you can activate the button + laser catcher (even if there is a funnel), I started thinking that one cube was missing as I had no way to activate all 3 buttons >_<
Prototype  [author] Jul 1, 2013 @ 3:43pm
Yes, you're correct it is connected to the faith plate. I tried to indicate this by placing it right next to it, I'll add an antline. Glad you like it, and thanks for taking the time to record a video.
DeathWish808 Jul 1, 2013 @ 1:20pm
Oh, what was the sphere for in the 2nd area? Couldn't tell what it did as there were no markings and no obvious changes happening. I can only assume that it was connected to the faith plate with the p-button. Is that it?
DeathWish808 Jul 1, 2013 @ 1:07pm
Fun map. Nice layout, good lighting and GlaDOS dialogue perfect for each thing. I would rate this a medium to possibly hard for newer or casual players. About a 3-4/10 for veterans. I've played well over a thousand maps, so there wasn't anything I haven't seen, but the way you used the elements made it fun and still had to think. At the end when I realized what I had to do for the final cube... you'll see me playing eanie meanie miney moe. lol. Totally forgot which cube was which, but I got lucky.

wow, that was a great chamber. I totally did not expect that in the beginning. The test were great too. The last one took me awhile to figure out. The only glitch I saw was a point where 2 indicator lights crossed and the textures were overlapping. Other than that it was a fantastic test chamber.
buff00n Jun 5, 2013 @ 9:26pm
Yeah, I thought I was cheating on the last room, too, but I turned out to have the official solution.

The first room was the trickiest for me, getting the sequence right. I didn't expect the second part to be that simple. It also took me a few trips to the other room before I found the portal gun. It's kind of hard to spot and I'm not used to searching for something that small in a portal level. .

Overall nice job. It felt pretty close to the single player campaign.

This one is really good!
SkyRoots Apr 22, 2013 @ 5:38pm
Perfect! This is a great chamber!! Every portion/room is wonderful and tricky, but no too impossible to figure out.
Now, on to the Fifth hammer test . . .
Prototype  [author] Apr 22, 2013 @ 2:10am
Ready, Check out the antlines :) Also I have made a new hammer level "Fifth hammer test - The reassembling room" you might like it (moving parts, hint hint) =)
SkyRoots Apr 21, 2013 @ 8:34pm
Cool. Let me know when it's ready.
Prototype  [author] Apr 21, 2013 @ 8:29pm
Hmm, Ok then I'll fix you getting the cube up with your "trick" and connect both buttons to the exit (and add antlines). It's easy to get lazy in hammer, everything is harder, in pti you just drag to move a wall, in hammer you move the wall and then ensure everything is sealed, redraw antlines, add lighting, etc.
SkyRoots Apr 21, 2013 @ 8:24pm
Yes, I noticed the flip panel. For some reason I just didn't realize that I could use the flip panel surface to portal the cube up.

I definitely needed the flip panel to get the second cube up to the exit area: After putting the first cube on the round button, I jumped down and respawned the second cube to get it up to the exit area via the flip panel portal.

I didn't notice the exit door open because I put the first cube on the round button and then went on to figure out how to get the second cube up there too.

Like with many of your test chambers, I thought I needed to activate both the buttons next to the exit door to solve the puzzle.
Prototype  [author] Apr 21, 2013 @ 8:05pm
Well that's one way to get the cube up there :), I don't think I'll fix that, if players want to do it the hard way, so be it :)

Didn't you notice the door open when you put the cube on the square button? I was being lazy, I figured that you'd stand on the button and notice the panel flip. I guess I should add an antline from the button to the panel.
SkyRoots Apr 21, 2013 @ 7:41pm
Oh, I had put a cube on BOTH the round button and the square buttons by the exit door. Turns out I didn't need the cube on the round button to exit. Duh.

I also didn't realize I could put a portal under the cube (down by the emitter) and then get it up to the exit room by using a portal in the flip panel. I actually used the portable surface on the vertical wall to grab the cube. See how Here

My solution would have worked if both buttons next to the exit were actually connected to the exit door (antlines) and if they were both square buttons.

Why do I make things more difficult than they need to be?!
Prototype  [author] Apr 21, 2013 @ 7:04pm
The intended solution to the last room was: cube on portalable surface directing laser at a (somewhat sharp :) angle towards the laser emitters wall (towards the button), portal where laser hits, portal on side of block (opposite side of room) so that laser hits reciever (door opens), second cube comes with you through the door, portal on wall next to observation room so that laser comes through the grill, cube points laser at second reciever, stand on button, portal first cube up, put on cube button, exit Is that how you did it? (I don't think that there are any other ways to do it :)
SkyRoots Apr 21, 2013 @ 6:58pm
That was great and that last room was delishiously difficult! I loved it!
The solution to the last room was so EVIL, that I'm not certain that I even did it the right way.
Prototype  [author] Apr 21, 2013 @ 4:06pm
Hmm, it is a little dark on the lower two floors however that was somewhat intentional (old chambers without lights).
timer Apr 21, 2013 @ 6:28am
great map ! (a little too dark somtimes but that depends of the monitor i think ?)
ever777 Apr 12, 2013 @ 4:45pm
Great work! Create an extra challenge for the final exit in the next version please.
