@REONARD Does Eyes of Beauty add new eyes? This only affects the normal eyes. You might be able to run this one after that and have them work but it's risky (might cause bugs).

I would only advise that if your character is using the added eyes not the default ones.
If you go to Nexus mods I have some more files for people to use, including the source files. So you can mash them all up yourself. Also consider Bashing if you use many mods that do similar things to avoid bugs.
REONARD Dec 24, 2016 @ 4:11pm
Is this compatible with The Eyes of Beauty, or will I have to uninstall that before subscribing to this one?
Definitely Jarge May 10, 2015 @ 3:35am
thanks Zardoz and I at first thought they where argoinian eyes :D sorry
Zardoz Xerxes  [author] May 8, 2015 @ 9:35pm
@Dafuq_the_Boa Yes, the 3rd multi pic of eyes and the close-up pic after argonians are khajiit too. They are made from real pics of big cat eyes, I took my time with them and made them as nice as I could.
Definitely Jarge May 8, 2015 @ 6:51am
are there any new eye texture for khajiit? no pics of dem so just askin.
Zardoz Xerxes  [author] Jan 15, 2015 @ 3:04pm
For anyone else who has problems using many mods at once and can't work out what is conflicting.

Wrye Bash
It makes more mods compatible with each other by importing information from different mods into a "bashed patch".
Zardoz Xerxes  [author] Jan 15, 2015 @ 2:54pm
@Bigby Wolf
Eyes for all races (Dark Elf, Wood Elf, High Elf) are included this mod! :) Enjoy!
Inferno Prodigy Dec 19, 2014 @ 6:50pm
could you replace elf eyes
Zardoz Xerxes  [author] Aug 20, 2014 @ 5:24pm
These replace the default eyes, so if another mod adds extra eyes they wont be effected. Make sure to install/run this after any other eye mod you are using though.
evilcloudyness Aug 18, 2014 @ 4:30pm
Is this compatible with Eyes of Beauty mod? Thanks :)

Devastatn Jun 17, 2014 @ 8:19pm
ok thanks i now realize i made a mistake because i meant the human form but didnt realize till now but thanks
Zardoz Xerxes  [author] Jun 16, 2014 @ 8:00pm
Not when in vampire lord form, it just affects just the normal (human form) vampires (it works with Dawnguard vampires), also there is an alternate vampire version on the link in the description above.
Devastatn Jun 16, 2014 @ 2:18pm
will it work with the vampire lord eyes
i like this idea but i want to know if it would work before i get something that i cant exactly use for my orc
Lusty Argonian Butler Mar 20, 2014 @ 9:26pm
tis a awsome mod
Fusion Cabbage Mar 15, 2014 @ 2:01am
ok, thanks
Zardoz Xerxes  [author] Mar 14, 2014 @ 2:08pm
Yes, you have to install or place this after other eye mods in the load order.
Fusion Cabbage Mar 9, 2014 @ 1:03am
does it conflict with any othert eye mod?
Zardoz Xerxes  [author] Mar 2, 2014 @ 5:57am
@People like grapes
The files are only x2 vanilla (not 4k) and are highly compressed so as to minimize the impact on low end PCs, but it will still make the game run slower and cause a fps hit.
If your PC is too low a spec then you shouldn't be using mods like this, really you should be going for performance optimisation over quality.
People Like Grapes Feb 16, 2014 @ 10:56am
I'm wondering, would this mod cause a lot of slowdown for a lower-end pc?
cookietaco11 Jan 16, 2014 @ 6:02pm
thank u lol
Zardoz Xerxes  [author] Jan 14, 2014 @ 2:39pm
Just click on the big green subscribe button, when you start the game it will download the mod. You can check that it is installed by clicking "Data Files" on the Skyrim launcher, it should say ZX_Eyes.esp in the list there.
cookietaco11 Jan 13, 2014 @ 8:33pm
yo how do i make it work
Zardoz Xerxes  [author] Dec 14, 2013 @ 9:55am
I dunno try the forums?
Sounds like the old vamp glitch from Oblivion, you had to load you vamp game, then load another character, then load the original again and that would fix it.
Kimurawolf Dec 14, 2013 @ 4:29am
Awesome mod mate!!!...The characters looks a lot more realistic combined with high resolution mods like Skyrim HD mod... great work!!!
Zardoz Xerxes  [author] Oct 20, 2013 @ 4:49pm
Try some console commands like showracemenu or setrace?
Check out the forums or youtube?
Lusty Argonian Butler Oct 18, 2013 @ 10:55pm
you are a genius! the cat and lizard idea was awsome! i would play the argonian but i have a glitch. even though this does not have to do with the mod how do i fix the argonian glitch were they have a nord body?
厶 W.H.K 厶 Sergsky 厶 Aug 24, 2013 @ 5:11pm
Oh ok, I was talking about when I became a Vampire Lord, the eye colour wasn't changing to the orangey colour, but if you didn't mod the vampires lord's eyes, I apologize. ;)
Zardoz Xerxes  [author] Aug 24, 2013 @ 3:02pm
I’m not sure what you mean by "changing colour" your eyes change when you become a vampire but that is a permanent state, they don’t change back and forth. Unless your talking about the vampire lord? But I didn't mod the vampire lord's eyes.

If your talking about when you first turn into a vampire, that involves the game changing out the normal eye mesh for the vampire eye mesh and that has it's own texture file. It seems unlikely as that is scripted into the game as part of the whole vampire quest-line.

I would have to guess that this is a problem with Skyrim rather than my textures as they are just picture files and not meshes. They have been tested by many people and proven to be compatible and in working order.

Your mod could be in some way corrupted or didn’t download properly, you can try deleting it and downloading again or look into Skyrim vampire race troubleshooting.
厶 W.H.K 厶 Sergsky 厶 Aug 24, 2013 @ 1:44pm
@Zardoz When I installed this mod, my eyes stopped changing color when I became a vampire.
Pizzapasta Aug 6, 2013 @ 4:46pm
Wow, this meshes really well with alot of the texture enhancers I have on for NPC's
Bloodborne McGee Jul 21, 2013 @ 12:11am
You are awesome. It's the small things like that that I like =D
Zardoz Xerxes  [author] Jul 14, 2013 @ 10:00am
It will tone them down quite allot, I tried to keep the look of the original Bethesda eyes.
Zenithes Jul 11, 2013 @ 2:46am
So wait, this mod won't get rid of the glowing eyes of me vampire?
Ravynwynd Apr 25, 2013 @ 7:55pm
Very nice.Thank you.Really great work.Rated.
Zardoz Xerxes  [author] Apr 25, 2013 @ 8:35am
Update four: Alternate vampire eye version.
Xiianil Apr 19, 2013 @ 9:43pm
Awesome, well then friend; I will certainly get use of this after all. Thank you for your prompt reply!
biostalker8d4 Apr 18, 2013 @ 11:46pm
yeah they are very nice indeed good work Xerxes
Tiamat Blaze Apr 18, 2013 @ 5:22pm
I don't say this very often so I'd like to let you know that your mod got me to say; "Wow, I'm impressed!" Now let's hope it doesn't conflict with some other mods I use. x.x; If it does I'll try to let you know what it is.
Zardoz Xerxes  [author] Apr 18, 2013 @ 10:09am
Eyes of Beauty is great mod and adds lots of new eyes, you can use this mod with that one just install it after or set up your load order to overwrite their default eye replacement, this only mods the vanilla eyes so the newly added eyes from Eyes of Beauty will still be there in the chargen.
Zardoz Xerxes  [author] Apr 18, 2013 @ 10:04am
The cat eyes are made from real pics, that is somones cat's eye!
biostalker8d4 Apr 17, 2013 @ 11:34pm
yeah they do lol still badass tho
Zoidberg Jesus Apr 17, 2013 @ 9:25pm
Is it just me or does the Khajiit eyes look like the eye of Sauron?
Xiianil Apr 17, 2013 @ 8:49pm
I like the basic concept, and the new mapping was a nice touch, but I just don't think I'm ready to part with Eyes of Beauty. If anyone has more screens of this on characters in game, I would appreciate it. Don't get me wrong, it looks good in these close ups, but I want to know if you can even tell the difference say, 10 feet away.
MissPiggy Apr 17, 2013 @ 7:12pm
i hate ppl like tssportman someone should do somethng to them
Aaron of Minneapolis Apr 17, 2013 @ 3:41pm
@Zardoz: You can delete spam comments (like ashleadunstan's). Mouse over the comment, and click the Delete link that appears. You can also go to a spammer's userpage and report them. (I know it's kind of whack-a-mole since they keep opening/stealing new accounts, but I figure it's better than nothing.)
Valachhim Apr 17, 2013 @ 1:26pm
looks scared
Arthur Zimmermann Apr 17, 2013 @ 12:58pm
@camwigger That's just you though. I've downloaded a couple eye mods because eyes are a way to make your character look fucking awesome and unique. What if I don't want to look like just some other nord?
Zardoz Xerxes  [author] Apr 17, 2013 @ 12:52pm
Yep I bet you do spend "98% of my in game time looking at my person from behind"
