please i got that mod without these patches about "Rotting", only by downloading others mods only about texture (sand, rock, ice ...) !!! what more, when i'm editing new map, new scenaries, in < Units > , < Other > nowever i've the list of the whole of units corpses (soldiers, chivalry, wagons, rams, and so on ... ) and i feel like take off it because it's invading others object and useless . Whatmore units and building don't rot anymore nowever. Please i 'd like g back to my ancient mod, when dead dispeared, rot in the wild, or better, when dead aren't blooding, thank you.

@Cicero, THIS MOD IS OUTDATED AND DOESN'T WORK ON NEWER VERSIONS! Also I don't have the time to update my mods everytime AOE II HD gets updated.

Hi! After a long absence of playing this game, I've noticed that the rotting version does not rot 1/10 of the original time, but the regular time (every 6 sec. another sprite on game speed fast). May this be the latest patch? My install was a clean one.

Okay, so this mod isn't working with the new update. I'm playing The Forgotten DLC, and the units are rotting disappearing like normal... I tried deleting the files and then letting it re-install, but no dice. Any fix for this?

I have a question for the creator of this excellent mod. Would it be possible to combine this mod with the Unlimited Population mod created by Trisolo Scenario TC? Both mods rewrite the empires2_x1_p1.dat file, meaning they cannot both be active at the same time (subscribing to one erases the other). Would it be possible to combine them into one file?

How many minutes does it take for corpses to start rottiing? A wolf killed during first 5 mins stayed in the first stage for almost 1 hour

Out-of-syncs happen to me every time one player has not exactly the same mods installed and active.
However, I have troubles too seeing any rotting effect. Do you mean by "rotting corpses" soldiers and horses? And "dead units" siege weapons?

WARNING: Unless all players within your multiplayer game has this file, it WILL crash a few seconds within the game. This holds especially true when you are running public matches, since not everyone will have this mod. If you're doing private matches with your buddies and they all have the mod though, then it works fine.

Any word on if this works for campaigns and random maps in Single Player? I've tried but it seems corpses still disappear, even after installing it from here. For the record, corpses seeem to stay longer, but not forever - at least in the campaign missions I tried.

I don't think that it's possible to make it compatible with all multiplayer games, because a dead unit is still an unit and treated by game as an unit. don't forget also that a lot of dead corpses at the same time could produce lag.
the way around cross incompatibility would only be to draw a fake sprite on top of the dead one once it's vanished, etc, but it's not easy at all
