as for not being a master modder, that will come with time im sure, you just need to keep on working and youll naturally get better
Fyre Wyrm 11 апр, 2013 в 12:14
oh dear god, a dremora thrall, that is a great idea for my lord of chaos character

Truth be told, I'm not a master mod-maker. Therefore, I cannot increase charge-time. If you do play on legendary, it should be fine, cause power will equal. I still think the Skull of Corruption, even though it's just the model, shouldn't be used. I might search around for an interesting model. The Dremora staff wouldn't be master anyways, unless it was a Thrall.

might increase/add a slight charge time to the lightning storm staff, the instant cast is a little cheap, considering its a constant beam
Fyre Wyrm 11 апр, 2013 в 6:18
lol, true the skull is an artifact, but its appearance would work best for cojuration master spells, its not like you would be able to craft the staff with its enchantment, only its appearance. but its your mod, im only here to lend ideas :P

Hm... The Skull Of Corruption is a daedric artifact, that's my only problem. I think most of the stuff we are floating around takes at least a bit of time to make, we'll see how lazy or not I feel.
Fyre Wyrm 10 апр, 2013 в 15:06
Instead of a conjuration staff for the summon dremora you could use the skull of corruption, make it so a person could craft an un enchanted one at a forge with a skull, goat horns, iron or steel and some firewood. Then use that staff with the other ingredients you mentioned. As for the wall staff, yes it would be legendary worthy, but its not like combining all the master level spells, that would be like a staff of ragnorok.

For the first comment, I should be able to give staves new spells altogether, although I have not yet crossed that path. I can use any model within the game, and although its possible, I have less than no skill at modelling/texturing. I do think its possible to use dragon shouts, although I only think Ice Form would be do-able because it isn't too OP. The tendril staff idea is a bit huge, and might be considered Legendary difficulty-worthy. If I could make it, it would require Miraak's Staff and staves of the other wall spells, with a filled black soul gem to make it. I might make a conjure dremora staff, that requires a black soul gem, Daedra heart, Conjuration unenchanted staff, a skull, and human flesh. More or less. I plan on adding MANY ingredients for more staves, but I am working on another mod as well. (Spoiler alert: I'm adding conjure spider/sphere tomes to that mod)

and another staff, rage of the sun, combine firestrom with the bane of undead master spell, i forrget what its actually called but its the one that sets undead on fire and makes them flee, it makes sense really, kind of like Auriels bow, or the dawn breaker, does fire damage and extra damage to undead, if firestorm seems to op you could use fireball instead, still has an explosive radius but not quite as damaging, and wont be able to oneshot druagr deathlords or dragon priests.

i could just send it to you as a message with the ideas, as for the list, give me a couple of days to get it written up, early work hours make it hard to concentrate and stay up for extended periods of time. but i do need to ask a few things about what you can do, such as can you impliment any ingame spell, vanilla and dlc added? even if the spell isnt already assosiated with staffs? can you impliment shouts? can you use any staff, such as dragon priest or the staff of magnus? and would it be possible to alter/reskin staffs of particular types? just some basic guide lines to help me come up with some ideas, i have one right off the bat for you, a combination of all the walls spells and miraaks tedril staff, since all are sprayed on the ground for effects i think it would be nice to have, simply reduce the amount of damage it does if possible and using miraaks staff as the staffs appearance.
St. Yoobid  [автор] 10 апр, 2013 в 13:15
That would be great! If you do, I might add you to developers, since you're making such a contribution. I'll delete the list once I've got it, so as not to give spoilers, but I'll note it down. If you were a developer, then we could use the chat so as to privately come up with ideas.

well i think whether it being OP or not really depends no the difficulty you are playing on and any mods that make the game more difficult, for me inspecific i play the game as hard as i can, and my destruction spells basically tickle any of the dragons i encounter, cant tell you howmany times ive been randomly attacked by a dragon in the wild and kill cammed by it. i think that being able to attach at least two spells to a staff would be awesome, definately fear attached to a lot of the destruction staffs, though it may be a bit redundant on fire staffs once you get the specific perk that adds a chance of fear to enemies on fire. if you want i could compile a list of staves that i think would be good additions.

Blizzard is a glitchy one, I've just noticed, it casts Icy Storm instead. It probably is possible, but it would involve me making an entire new staff enchantment. The master enchantments were already in the Dragonborn DLC files, but never were implemented. I plan on adding other school staves. I do think that a staff that casts 2 master spells is slightly OP, especially since the shock staff doesn't require charging up the spell, can be used on the move, and does massive damage. Blizzard and Fire Storm, perhaps, since of the error with blizzard. Perhaps a fire storm that does fear, or something. You decide I guess, I want to get as much feedback as possible.

i actually love the idea of master staves, should have been in vanilla IMO, but i was wondering if you could make it so a staff could have more than one of these spells? ive always wanted to have a master stave that did both firestorm and blizzard
