Vurt Flora Overhaul (Redux)

@ReDragon, I've always loved this mod and have not had any trouble with my frame rate. Would it be asking too much to have a little more variation in the plants? There is an awful lot of land covered in the beautiful purple lupins. As nice as they are, it gets a little monotonus. It's not an earthshaking problem, but I thought I'd ask. : ) I tried Vurt's mod and found it a little too intensive for my computer.

I think it would be better to download off Nexus? This version hasn't been updated since 2013.

Tyrone Biggums Jun 17 @ 7:48pm

Amp_Russell Jun 16 @ 7:29pm
I like it, pretty!

Does this just improve the graphics of the plants or does it add more plants?
modrew71 Jun 9 @ 5:04pm
@etherNerd: I'll think about it thanks. C=
ReDragon  [author] Jun 9 @ 4:56pm
@modrew71: MSI Afterburner free and easy to use.. as work arround set ani-aliasing back to two or switch it off, take a lower resolution, adjust shadows, that will increase your FPS. If you like to buy a new video card then an AMD 7850 is my favorite, not so expensive with a really good performance.
etherNerd Jun 9 @ 10:29am
@modrew71: At the current moment, I would highly recommend the AMD R7 265. It's the most bang for your buck of the most modern AMD cards. It's essentially an AMD 7850 that has been optimized quite a bit for both power efficiancy and graphic processing ability. You can find it at newegg, tigerdirect, amazon, or other tech-based web shops. I would go for an XFX model if you want a quality board.
modrew71 Jun 9 @ 6:03am
@ReDragon: Since I don't have one of those "screen capture" devices, so I'm not particularly sure how many frames were dropped. But I'm definitely for certain that my game dropped below
30 frps.
ReDragon  [author] Jun 8 @ 5:18pm
1GB graphic card should be enough, I run it with ATI HD 5750 in 1280x1024 75 FPS inside, outside 50..60 FPS
ReDragon  [author] Jun 8 @ 5:14pm
@etherNerd: Thank you for helping me and others. :)
ReDragon  [author] Jun 8 @ 5:12pm
@modrew71: About your issue: "frame rate slow down", this can be happen unfortunately, depends on RAM, graphic card and cpu. How much is your frame drop?
modrew71 Jun 8 @ 5:10pm
@etherNerd : And what would I need to do to upgrade my graphics card & where can I find one?
ReDragon  [author] Jun 8 @ 5:10pm
@thtguythtlovesanimae: Whatever you do is right, if other people can understand you. This mod is unfortunately not compatible with vurt original mod. Everytime one mod can change the grass types on a specific landscape. The last mod in load order wins.
ReDragon  [author] Jun 8 @ 5:05pm
@yannik.schulz: "if I want to install the mods from steam in Nexus." It doesn't work as you imagine. You have to click on subscribe (green button on top), run Skyrim and wait until all steam mods are downloaded to your pc. After that click on start in loadscreen.
ReDragon  [author] Jun 8 @ 5:01pm
SORRY for late answer!!!
etherNerd Jun 5 @ 5:23pm
@modrew71: I would expect you to take a framerate hit from this, but not much of one. It's going to add additional vertexes that your graphics card didn't have to draw before. The fix would be to not install the mod if the frame drop is keeping you from playing the game, or upgrade your graphics card if thats the case.
modrew71 Jun 4 @ 10:40am
I'm having a bit touble with this mod, its slowing down my frame rate & I'm wondering if there's any thing that can fix it?
thtguythtlovesanimae May 8 @ 3:34pm
is it compatible with other graphics mods, and I bet I spelled compatible wrong
yannik.schulz Apr 20 @ 1:36am
I have all plugins of the mods in Nexus, but I don´t know what I have to do with that files, if I want to install the mods from steam in Nexuss.
ReDragon  [author] Apr 4 @ 1:27pm
shelbabyx: Sorry.. a bit late. The issue with texture swap out in stones and wodden material is ingame. No chance to avoid that.
shelbabyx Mar 16 @ 9:53pm
Causes weird texture swapouts, at certain angles flowers turn into stone texture. Happened in the middle of my first LP episode, lol.
ReDragon  [author] Feb 23 @ 5:10pm
@archerstylez: Couldn't explain it better. ThanXs
ReDragon  [author] Feb 23 @ 5:08pm
@astrophysicist: Sure, malukah has an youtube account and an own homepage.
ReDragon  [author] Feb 23 @ 5:06pm
@cabbage: Best way, remove both ini-files. Start the game and let Skyrim make a new 'Skyrim.ini' and 'SkyrimPrefs.ini'. Or try things I wrote inside this description.
David Feb 20 @ 11:19pm
@TheoDore The WIZARD --Subscribe to the mod, it will download through Steam, then run Skyrim. When the Launcher appears, go under Data Files, and make sure it is loaded (box checked), with your other mods. I would recommend saving first before testing this out, and if it turns out to conflict with other mods, then uncheck it in the Data Files section so it won't load the mod when you launch the game in the future.
Theodore The Wizard Feb 15 @ 8:12pm
How do you add items to favorites I want to test this out with some other mods
astrophysicist Feb 8 @ 12:40pm
is your song on youtube, so i can listen to it while staring at grass in skyrim?
Fusion Cabbage Feb 7 @ 9:00am
every grass mod i try doesnt work, including this one, is there any way to fix this?
† Artheдain † Feb 6 @ 6:04am
ehm........yes ok, thanks
ReDragon  [author] Feb 5 @ 2:45pm
@Arthedáin: It doesn't increase the density like a lush grass mod, it adds new plants to your Skyrim world and changes the order and diversity of plants depends on landscape. Ok?
† Artheдain † Feb 4 @ 9:18am
does this mod increase the density of grass a bit? or not as much as a lush grass mod?
BrenMan 94 Feb 3 @ 7:32am
@ReDragon I should've deleted that comment. I fixed the problem. It WAS NOT your mod. :S
ReDragon  [author] Feb 1 @ 1:23pm
@BrenMan 94: If you can't see trees like images on top then you don't have installed my Landscape modification here on steam, name is 'Skyrim - Landscape (WSTM)'. As I written in description 'no trees inside' this mod. Cheers..
BrenMan 94 Jan 13 @ 4:38pm
I'm getting missing tree textures. Any idea what the problem is?

I moved everything to Skyrim/Data, and turned ArchiveInvalidation off then back on, but to no avail.
PolishReaper_of_Death Jan 5 @ 5:03am
the mod is good
Beniboy Dec 30, 2013 @ 8:49pm
the mod isnt as good as the song
ReDragon  [author] Dec 30, 2013 @ 7:50pm
@KirklandGamer: Are you satisfied with changes?
CapNKirkland Dec 7, 2013 @ 10:37pm
the description tells us what files to change. not how and where to find and change them
ReDragon  [author] Dec 7, 2013 @ 8:40pm
@kingheevz: Some images on top was made with URWL by marco, an ENB mod which work like a normal skyrim mod (*.esp). But now I play the game without any ENB.
ReDragon  [author] Dec 7, 2013 @ 8:33pm
@KirklandGamer: I'm sorry for my bad English, but you have to explain a bit more for me:
''all of whatever that is is like reading another language.''

In description I didn't show scripting or modding, this was written to tweak your Skyrim ini-files for best usage with this mod.
CapNKirkland Dec 7, 2013 @ 3:27pm
can the discription have a section for people who dont know a thing about script or modding? all of what ever that is is like reading another language.
kingheevz Dec 7, 2013 @ 12:44am
This mod is really good. Love it. adds more depth and beauty to skyrim, lush landscapes. This combimed with an ENB lighting mod and a hd world texture pack is amazing in my opinion. Though you will need a pretty good GPU setup
Sadron82 Dec 4, 2013 @ 12:56pm
Love the mod so far! Thank you! :)
