Is the timing supposed to be so tight on the chamber with the blue lasers? It looks like you need to hit the timer, then set two portals while you're in flight...

Excellent map!

Just a small note with an undesired solution: in the last room with the blue lazers on the floor, if you manage to put blue gel under the "exit path" (e.g. by make it balance between 2 portals on the floor, then put one of the on the red cross), then jump from the panel with the red cross into that blue gel (e.g. by jumping on blue gel on the floor, then put a portal below you), you will hit the roof structure, bounce once on the floor and then get high enough to reach the roof. Also, the wooden panels with the cable is portalable.

I had found a way to skip a part of the puzzle. But then I tought that it was the wrong way because you had to enter a dark room. So i thought this was a jump scare easter egg. (had that before *shivers* ) so first I was like, hell no. I'm taking the right way. But apparently it was the right way :p anyways, nice map. haha

Great map! I liked how large the map was and using almost the whole science sphere! I too got caught cheating lol. Thumbs up!

I love seeing mappers improve gradually, so playing this and sp_80's has been fun for me. The quality of maps has changed massively between those series. Great map.

Oh, I'm doing that for the next map, so that you'll exit the sphere and be able to look down into it from buildings overhead. Maybe to use test elements, IDK yet.

I had a couple graphical glitches in the secret office and other places. Not sure if there is anything you can do about it, but I enjoyed the map immensely.

Great set of maps - well two anyway. The beta version of map 2 (map 3) was a little confusing as it started map 2 again and then went into greater length. Still great...Why not post these to TWP and link them together - I really like old style Hammer maps...

Nice map. Tiny nitpick: there's a bit of texture flickering above the entrance door in the first room. Also, holy crap that's a lot of gel. :D

@Frau - Yes, I used that a lot when I was playtesting. Protip: This is actually better for performance because the orange gel isn't activated.

Great, except you can cheat in the first chamber by putting the blue gel on the ground in front of the higher button, grabbing the cube, jumping on the gel and throwing it onto the button.

Thank you! I'm bringing forth an update soon that introduces a new basement area to the under construction chamber, which will eliminate that fling from the top of the chamber below. Also: Adding some clip brushes to deter you damn speedrunners. Furthermore; moar kool lihgts!

Good map by the way. Your Pure Intellect maps are your best maps. These and wheatley's detour are in my opinion your only maps that are really good. The others weren't fun for me.

That was a nice navigation map and I like the idea of backtracking. The map still has bugs, and I needed to noclip out of places where there was no way out.

I enjoy the cave johnson retro maps. This one was cool because it used a few "outside the room" ideas. I wish there were more puzzles that fully utilized the play space, much like this one did, whether or not it looks like "play space" or not. Good details too.
