cool use of the funnel

Very unique! A triple stream tractor beam. Brilliant! Thanks!

Suggested fix: move the cube dropper down.
sillymel 30 mar 2016, ore 10:44
I like it; I like it a lot. Although, it's possible to trap yourself in the second room by having the funnel point at the cube spawner, respawning the cube (which stays in the spawner because of the funnel), grabbing the cube and immediately dropping it, and respawning the cube again.

Angles may seem complicated at first but our little brains can sort it out with ease.
Though, I don't recall having seen angled funnels before. That double angled funnel near the end is neat!
A great map.

Easier than I expected, it was always clear what had to be done next, and the doing wasn't hard, but I loved it.

not a bad test, I like using the funnel at an angle (as i did in one of my own maps) but it was fairly simple, i kept thinking it was going to be harder, and then it wasn't, like i said though, not bad. I streamed it after i played another map, if you wana watch i could give you the link. 7.5/10

@temporarymanwastaken
Too many people doing typical things in maps (aka most front page maps).
󰀉tempeh󰀉 13 nov 2014, ore 17:05
Well, that's new. How have I never seen funnels used like this before?

@commander2005
Stairs are there as an anti-trapping measure.
commander2005 29 ago 2014, ore 12:19
Fun puzzle! I didn't need the stair :D

Fun concept

Nice work on the triangle!

It all done with your placed portals and the sideways button. I hid the connection for that angled panel. One panel is deployed while the other is undeployed. When I go throught the fizzler to the second area, the cube drops down and the button deactivates.

Brilliantly clever idea - wish I'd thought of doing that... Very good aesthetics as well, everything looks nice and clean.

How did you make the glass panel which leads into the second room open? Did you attach the panel to the wall-mounted button? If so, that's really really clever....

One of the most creative test I've seen so far.
kimist108 28 feb 2014, ore 14:26
That was different. Good fun.

Positively delightful! Not difficult, but beautiful.
wildgoosespeeder  [autore] 18 dic 2013, ore 20:57
@Yavie
This was more of an idea than anything challenging. I never expected to do that with the funnel creating that three-way like that but I thought that had to be fun for testing. It's all in how the room is configured. Nothing special.
Yavie 18 dic 2013, ore 18:41
That was deceptively simple. It took a bit for me to realise I had to stand on the other side of those floor panels to get the right angle for the funnel, duuuh lol (: And how did you split the funnel into three? Very cool! Great concepts.

Got myself trapped in the entrance too, you can escape if you know how. Shoot 2 portals in the white tile right in front of you, just next to eachother. @wildgoosespeeder: great map, I keep seeing you come up with stuff that is close to brilliant, but yet simple. Thumbs up!
Scoundrel 28 nov 2013, ore 15:58
Oh, and I managed to avoid smashing myself against the entrance door and trapping myself in the door frame this time. :) I must have been truly brilliant in my foolishness. You probably would have found my first playthrough comical if I had recorded it.
Scoundrel 28 nov 2013, ore 15:56
I just played through it again (I wanted to be familiar with it again before doing a replay so I didn't embarrass myself), and it seemed to make more sense to me this time. I used the flip panel on the wall that was activated by the cube button up top and then the funnel to get across the acid, didn't force my way down through the pad on the floor against the flow of the funnel . I'm not sure I could recreate how wrongly I did it the first time. Maybe I was just having one of those days.
wildgoosespeeder  [autore] 26 nov 2013, ore 20:58
@Scoundrel
I never thought that was possible near the entrance. I'll take a look and fix it sometime.

As for the flip panel, replay please?
Scoundrel 26 nov 2013, ore 20:15
Interesting. Got pressed against the entrance door by the first funnel, couldn't get out of it, had to restart the level, which I guess isn't too bad since I had just started it. Was that an intentional trap? Don't remember if I used that wall panel for anything else. Going against the flow of the funnel down into the portal took me a while to figure out. Did not end up using the cube button under the cube dispenser, which activates a wall panel I did not use as well. Maybe I didn't follow the correct solution.
metadavid 18 nov 2013, ore 21:28
That was great. Short and took a little bit of figuring out to solve.

Like eating cake. It was good. Short and sweet. The concept was cool and the map looked good. Thanks.
My Glad To See Your Back for your enjoyment.

I really liked this - the concept was simple but innovative, and very clever. I think I'll have to write this one down to use later. Nice work!

Really neat and fun concept. Really enjoyed this one.

Awesome map. Tweeked my perceptions of what is possible with gravity beams and angles. Very nice.
wildgoosespeeder  [autore] 23 mar 2013, ore 9:58
@Mr Fraggle (UK)
You have to be at a certain angle for it to be on the portal surface. I wish I had more control like in certain puzzles in the story mode that automatically centered and/or rotated portal placements.
Mr Fraggle (UK) 23 mar 2013, ore 5:57
Cannot get a portal on either of the two floor panels in the second chamber.
Creold 17 mar 2013, ore 3:46
Nice test. I like it
