The Tank Game
< >
Expendable Indigo Jul 17 @ 6:18pm
Remember playing the original version on Yoyogames back when it was free & community-focused. Lots of nostalgia with this game :)
Chezz May 24, 2014 @ 6:17pm
Could be cool. Seems like it may get boring after a while. Based on the posted trailers, needs more long range action.
GHETTO INTERFACE Apr 17, 2014 @ 7:07am
THE MAD BURNING DEATH Feb 17, 2014 @ 9:07pm

Chebz Jun 19, 2013 @ 11:24am
needs multiplayer and better music, otherwise I don't see people playing this for long time.
wittygiraffe Jun 4, 2013 @ 3:33pm
I've seen better tank battle games on Miniclip.. and I haven't been on Miniclip in 8 years ¬_¬
Elcu<Nya~> May 15, 2013 @ 7:23pm

FireBrand Apr 8, 2013 @ 9:58pm
Looks like a great game to play in between other gaming bouts or while waiting for something. Definitely upvoted
icuurd12b42  [author] Apr 4, 2013 @ 1:39am
I've been a little busy with my other game. Thanks to everyone who visited and thank you for your support!!
Mister Chippy Mar 28, 2013 @ 5:46pm
If this game is very cheap I will buy it.
Same Mar 25, 2013 @ 12:11pm
looks quite cool im a fan of the old school fashion
NateinMpls Mar 24, 2013 @ 12:45pm
Looks rather bland and I don't like old school graphics/gameplay
Computer Fox Mar 23, 2013 @ 6:33pm
I really doubt you will be able to get money off of this. Its already free and has been released as free around. As good as the game has been, there isnt much to it to warrant paying money for it and even if this was something to be considered, its probably better placed in the game maker section of workshop. This is not to say that this is a bad game, its actually rather well made...but I dont think the amount of things you can do for this really does warrant a full on release on the steam store.
icuurd12b42  [author] Mar 21, 2013 @ 11:08pm
Thanks everyone! Yes, it's old school but some people like that! I really loved making it. There was a lot of good learning involved and time invested in this. I really loved the experience.

xYorYx Mar 21, 2013 @ 9:51am
I don't really liked the game, but will upvote it for 2 reasons - its was made in GM and because icuurd helped me a lot.
Fish Bowl Mar 21, 2013 @ 9:25am
I'm tired of seeing flash games come up in the Greenlight, you know they will be $5 for some reason and they will turn into the joke indie games are on the Xbox, and the pricing for mobile gaming which is even more ridiculous.
The Mighty Douche Mar 21, 2013 @ 5:26am
multiplayer please.........but seriously, r u gonna eat all that patato n gravy?
Kana Mar 20, 2013 @ 2:29pm
This is like a shovelware game from the very late 90's.
Karuda Mar 20, 2013 @ 10:20am
I hate the dripping noise, and the fact the music repeats... Over..... and Over again!
SgtRicko Mar 20, 2013 @ 9:10am
There's a game on both Kongregate and Newgrounds that both looks better and plays better, and is free to boot. So there's no way I'm upvoting this.
Mobile sensor array Mar 20, 2013 @ 6:48am
Nice idea, nice gameplay, but music in this video... it's total crap!!11!!1!
Inner Animal Mar 20, 2013 @ 6:26am
I've already seen this about 2 years ago.It was calling Tanky Tank. This game is a copy of Tanky Tank.I'm not sure, but we will see...
icuurd12b42  [author] Mar 19, 2013 @ 8:46pm
Thanks Guys, I updated the description
EpicDignewt Mar 19, 2013 @ 7:57pm
Would get it if it was free but honestly this doesn't look like it would be worth money without more content. Like the idea and everything though, might download to give it a try some time.
von Hötzendorf Mar 19, 2013 @ 6:16pm
I think this is for mobile devices, not for pc.
bgrubz Mar 19, 2013 @ 1:41pm
Remember playing something like this on wasn't much fun but at least it was Multiplayer (side-by-side)
Milkman Mar 19, 2013 @ 5:29am
1: Make this Free-5$ (No offence) 2: MAKE MULTIPLAYER FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! D:
Resolute Mar 19, 2013 @ 4:52am
Concept is ok but the implementation needs ALOT of work. Come back when you are at the beta stage.
Wøll Mar 19, 2013 @ 3:02am
will this game be free or?
lPaladinl Mar 19, 2013 @ 12:39am
Keep up working on it and polishing it until it doesn't look like a Game Maker game.
ProtektoR Mar 18, 2013 @ 11:57pm
старые добрые танки как на денди
CH33$3H34D Mar 18, 2013 @ 10:16pm
I might buy this for a few bucks if it had multiplayer
its a good idea, just needs a bit more
Baby Jager Mar 18, 2013 @ 7:44pm
Honestly not a terrible idea overall, but it needs a LOT of work to make it Steam worthy.
King of the flamingo Mar 18, 2013 @ 7:36pm
i do like the idea but i would not pay money for it il stick to world of tanks no offence you have talent.
Surrealialis Mar 18, 2013 @ 6:49pm
Yeah, if it had multiplayer I could dig it. Me and my four buddies always try the random multiplayer battle games. But I wouldn't be able to play it as a single player game for very long. Holding out on voting to see if that's implementable.
Good luck with your game.
Fenrir007 Mar 18, 2013 @ 5:10pm
Of course we didnt look at it - you had no video at all! That goes to show how much you care for your game.
Christopher Mar 18, 2013 @ 4:04pm
Just read your previous comment icuurd12b42. Don't lose faith~ especially if it's only two days. Great indy games have languished in greenlight for a *long* time. It takes time to get critical mass. Just keep improving the game and listening to gamers.

That is all
Christopher Mar 18, 2013 @ 4:02pm
Add multiplayer to this and I can see myself having a blast with it. Although there is much to do to get the game to a polished state, I can see a lot of work has gone into this. Following this on faith and potential. Just please- do not remove/edit comments unless there is a *real* reason to (racism, etc.). That is one of the quickest way to disenfranchise people from you as a developer. I know people can be harsh on the internet but you can't take it personally. Just listen to what they say and try and address any legitimate issues with the understanding that you can't please everyone. Use it as fuel to improve on what you're creating. Gamers are some of the hardest critics of their consumer product and no developer totally goes unscathed by negative responses.
icuurd12b42  [author] Mar 18, 2013 @ 3:47pm
I don't know if the venture is working, it's only been 2 days. I did not edit any post, that is not a feature. I can only remove comments. I'm truly sorry I made you angry. I bought many 2 dollar games of this type on steam of the last 5 years and perhaps I'm blind into thinking mine has similar caliber.
Actually the comment about the 100$ was a general comment. Paying for the privilege of maybe having your game publish, I also believed only other developers who payed the 100$ would be voting given dev usually give better feed back. I did not think this would be a youtubish free for all.

Now I see games of this type have no chance in hell of even being sold for even penny on here.
Bloopgun Mar 18, 2013 @ 3:13pm
I see, you paid money to get your game on steam in hopes of making a commercial venture. I'm sorry that's not working out for you but creatively editing negative posts merely reinforces the relative weakness of your initial game offering. Perhaps it would be more appropriate for a tablet release, but in no way is this a game ready for steam.
icuurd12b42  [author] Mar 18, 2013 @ 2:23pm
Not even 2 bucks?
icuurd12b42  [author] Mar 18, 2013 @ 2:21pm
Only a few, one telling people to vote down the game if no support for all platform, yours, Bloogun, saying this looked exactly like the Atari tank game, which was not true at all, sorry but though the game is inspired from it, it looks nothing like it, it does feels like it, that was my goal.
And I was pretty open on the fact that I removed comments, The integrity of the topic remains, the criticism is still there. Comments like This sucks, you suck, it's garbage, it does not belong here and telling falsehoods will be removed, for my own sanity...
Sorry but I did not pay 100$ to get on here do get bashed around by down voters who did not even try the game. Heck all I wanted was a little extra income to get out of debt...
neofit Mar 18, 2013 @ 2:18pm
I have no idea how this can be considered Steam material. 25 years ago on my ZX Spectrum, maybe, but in 2013 on a commercial, non-freeware gaming site? I don't think so.
