n0th1ng made an iconic map, one of the first in the Counter Strike series. I hope you are still looking to update the map, I feel scaling down the map would be good as its a very large hostage map, though I appreciate you wanting to stay true to the original as possible. But look at the workshop remake of cs_siege - its the same map essentially but scaled down and one or two new routes to help the CT's,

Love the map.

that being said some issues:
I get random spurts of freezing where it doesn't quite seem like lag but rather like i'm clipping with the world for about 5 seconds. Intermittent but kinda noticeable. I haven't run into this on other maps.

Wish I knew how to actually PLAY on the damn maps. This looks sweet. I can't pull up any community servers so I can't even play these.

One other thing...

I think the map scale feels slightly off. I had the same issue back when I made some Goldeneye maps when I was in my younger years. No idea what to do about it though, but the connector entrance and stair case from CT side (the walls around the stair case) etc seem out of scale based on player size.

I was playing your map and just thought of some things that would add greatly to the experience of the map... Subtle ambient sounds (not overpoweringly loud but enough to bring the map alive). I feel that map ambience is practically non-existent in this version.

* Cricket/night sounds when outside
* Foot echoing (strong + reverberations) when running the sewers
* When we're near water we should hear something from it (bring it alive)
* When walking through the connector between the two sides there should be some sort of echo, thought not as strong as the sewer echo reverberations.

There could be some others I haven't thought of, but I think this would be great improvements to the map. Could put a radio playin tunes some where in the T building (with the sewer hostage) up on the second floor that you can hear outside on the roof ever so slightly.

Start a docks only server. Docks was probably my favorite map of all time, and to this day, I still have no idea why they removed it. I know the creator committed suicide, but surely that's not why. Talk about nostalgia when I see some of these beta maps coming back/being created :)

It's probably nothing you can fix, but the pathfinding system of the hostages is terrible. They're stuck everywhere etc.
Otherwise neat map.

Also, bots are likely to stuck near the CT spawn container (the blue one when you head to the tunnel). I suggest adding a cover on the top of it to remove this issue. I don't think hiding in that container has a purpose.

I think that CT spawn could use some work. In my opinion, it's just too narrow and it should be more wide like in the original (counter-strike beta) version, thus moving CT spawn points aswell.

There are some problems. The terrorists can't get into a door in one of your buildings. Also, the CT's seem to be "magnetically" drawn to the wall and stuck behind two potted plants at the second dock. Otherwise, its a fantastic map:)
