These are the kind of games that make me happy I took the time to look through Greenlight. When I see it and say, "man I want to play that", it's always a good sign. Good luck to you!

Yes, we do have a new nifty mode 7 style transition that transitions like in our animated gif up there. We showed it at the Boston FIG and people really dug it
codeman38 14. Sep. 2013 um 21:18 Uhr
Thirding the previous two comments. After having played the demo at BostonFIG, I would totally buy this.

I love the nes fail transistions.
"Bob" the Space Cadet 7. Aug. 2013 um 21:35 Uhr
I love the idea, but that transition animation needs work. If it's something you use a lot, it needs to be spot on to make changing between 8 and 16 bit look and feel awesome. I'd go for breaking things down into pixels and having them move about before converging in the altered perspective, or zoom in/blur-zoom out/focus, or even just use the existing style with images used from the image currently displayed on the screen. The cut up random pictures you are currently using for the transition just look out of place. The animation should convey that you are breaking down the world and rebuilding it on a different graphical scale. Get this aspect just right and you'd have a masterpiece.

Kind of reminds me of Earth Bound. Didn't care much for the music though; in either game.
The Titan of Earth 31. Mai 2013 um 22:06 Uhr
Looked alright, then I realized there was Disasterpeace music, I'll upvote anything that guy is on-board with.

SonicNinja6600 2. Mai 2013 um 14:59 Uhr
The sprites for the 16-bit looks like secret of evermore sprites :D
Raja Naga 29. Apr. 2013 um 0:44 Uhr
The thing I like a lot about this is that the 16-bit graphics look straight up like an early SNES game. Nice tune too. Worth a yes!
Pilot 23. Apr. 2013 um 13:29 Uhr
Excellent idea, meshing 8 and 16 bit inspiration. Definite upvote.
Strongpap 22. Apr. 2013 um 21:28 Uhr
