Steam keys would be generated and distributed to the Groupees Bundle. If you have bought the game via Groupees you will get your Steam key from them (most likely via your account there or email).
krazedlion Mar 23 @ 12:00am
Looks great! Hope its Greenlit soon:)
Elfangorax Mar 22 @ 6:02pm
Hi there. I was wondering how Steam keys for this game from the Groupees bundle will be distributed if the game gets Greenlit? Will the Steam key be completely distinct from the Desura key, or will it only be accessible from the user's Desura collection?
Liman3D  [author] Mar 4 @ 9:21pm
yes, unfortunately games are greenlit on the amount of votes. Deo is now at 30% of the TOP 100...
NoVa Mar 4 @ 9:04pm
So this still isn't Greenlit.

You know, I'd really like it to be :(
Dieblein Feb 12 @ 6:35pm
Nice game! :)
nm4991 Feb 8 @ 2:48am
Looks like a mix between Spyro and Croc and just a tat of Hugo.
blackshade Jan 27 @ 6:19am
looks fun
HORSE!! Jan 26 @ 2:15am
i would play human spyro if it managed to avoid having terrible level design, rip off or not.
Pop Culture Victim Jan 11 @ 11:36pm
Looks a lot like Spyro: enter the dragonfly but with a person instead. Like a lot of it feels parallel to it
Liman3D  [author] Dec 25, 2013 @ 4:12am
hey NoVa, merry Christmas buddy, I remember I watched your 30 min gameplay in Deo, it was such a nice run :)
Yep, a lot of the new games don't use the maximum of the latest hardware, but is it necessary for a game to be enjoyable? Even B/W can be up to date if the initial idea was to look B/W. Our initial idea was the game to be colorful, anime and fun. The result doesn't look like this because of lack of skills or something. It looks like this because we wanted it to look like this. If you ask about my personal opinion I think this game is a masterpiece. It brings the good old gameplay from the 90's in 2013. It's for sure you won't find many games like this with such a rich input and precise controls. A pure 3D plaforming magic for the adventure platformer gamers. And this combined with the many different and colorful realms and nice music form the game's emotional impact.
NoVa Dec 25, 2013 @ 2:43am
The graphics does look like Spyro 1 of some of the enemies, but the detail/quality actually reminds me more of the PlayStation 2 (think: Spyro 4 and 5).

Also. Spyro 1 was released in 1998, Spyro 2 in 1999, and Spyro 3 in 2000. Then we have Spyro 4 in 2004, and Spyro 5 in 2005 on the PS2, GC and XBOX. Legend of Spyro 6 in 2006, 7 in 2007, and 8 in 2008.

But to be honest, a LOT of games actually still use outdated graphics. There are still games out today only using Black and White as well, and you can't tell me using only b/w is up to date?! Lol.

good mode
Liman3D  [author] Dec 8, 2013 @ 9:38pm
Check out the graphics of some of the most enjoyable games today, such as Terraria or Minecraft... Take a look at the most recent Nintendo games as well. This game is animation. Animation games will never have ourdated graphics. I mean it's like to say that "Pink Panther" or "Bugs Bunny" movies have outdated graphics...
Shepperd Dec 8, 2013 @ 2:12pm
This game rly looks like Spyro in many ways but this graphics were supported by Playstation 1 13 years ago its not that good in graphics and game generation at this moment i will vote for it only because i love spyro i had a great childhood with this game and this looks like it but
im saying again that this kind of graphics were used 13 years ago.
Yatekko Dec 1, 2013 @ 7:37pm
Yeah... this feels WAY too close to Spyro in too many regards for me to be comfortable with. Sorry, it's a "no" from me.
Liman3D  [author] Nov 30, 2013 @ 5:16am
well the game seems to be stuck at 25% of the way to the top 100. It's been there for quite a long time... Unfortunately to be greenlit this game needs a lots of votes. Without your support and spreading the word with your friends this may never happen...
Tangeloking Nov 30, 2013 @ 2:08am
how close is it to being greelit top 100 or even close?
Legendary Mantis Oct 30, 2013 @ 11:12pm
I'd vote for this game. If the textures didnt look ripped right out of Spyro along with some of the enviromental models. Seriously?
Keitaro004 Oct 29, 2013 @ 11:54am
I will vote for this game. It play like Spyro (Running, flying, collecting diamonds and entering portals), but that's what's appealing about it to me. Let's see how good it really is!

Liman3D  [author] Oct 27, 2013 @ 3:46am
It's too early yet to give an exact answer for the Steam trading cards feature... Anyway getting a Steam key once greenlit for $0.75 is great deal. After 7 days the game will be $12.99 again.
Dick-Ass Thief Oct 27, 2013 @ 3:35am
Will there be steam trading cards when this is released? Big deal breaker here, to see if I get this on Groupees.
tjhall1000 Oct 26, 2013 @ 11:48pm
what rank is deo at? is it in the top 100 to be greenlighted?
windsmere Oct 26, 2013 @ 7:20am
I voted yes. Kinda reminds me of Spyro (that's a good thing, if you ask me)

@NoVa, I watched how you play Deo on, very nice run :) lol
NoVa Oct 25, 2013 @ 9:36am
Speaking of challenging, I found it quite hard to control Deo. Spyro's much easier to control :P

Some of the Enemies require you to kill them very differently, like the plants in the first Homeworld (make 1 mistake and you're dead).

It certainly does feel quite a bit more challenging than the first Spyro game. It's not exactly Spyro, it just has similar things.

It's actually an alright game, and I hope it gets Greenlit.

But yeah guys, at least try the game instead of saying it's like Spyro 1 all the time 24/7...Please? lol
Liman3D  [author] Oct 24, 2013 @ 12:00pm
hey, guys, anyway make sure to try the game, while at first glance it may seem a lot similar to Spyro, Deo has its own feeling and gameplay, which is very challenging and also has progressive difficulty.
Luiz Alves Oct 24, 2013 @ 11:23am
This is way too similar to Spyro - the gameplay, the environments, the diamonds, the chests, the interface, even the logo - to the point of making me feel uncomfortable.

Don't get me wrong, I love the original Spyro (even played through it recently). But this so similar it feels like a mod, instead of a new game. Sorry, but I vote No.
nickXup Oct 24, 2013 @ 9:20am
I agree with the person below me :) Good luck!
usshadowop Oct 24, 2013 @ 6:51am
This reminds me of spyro fro the ps1, good memories.
Liman3D  [author] Oct 24, 2013 @ 1:43am
yep, buddies, you will all get Steam keys once Greenlit. So go ahead and grab it from Groupees. We will also take care to provide Steam keys no matter of the store you have got Deo.
The Linux port is planned. But I can't tell for sure when it will be available.
Thank you all for your support! :)
sayler_ Oct 24, 2013 @ 1:28am
will we get steam keys whet greenlit ? Yay!! Bought it on groupees and upvoted. Hope we'll enjoy it on steam soon.
MulderYuffie Oct 24, 2013 @ 12:31am
Well that new Groupees Build A Bundle 4 came out and Deo was in it. I still had not gotten around to buying it elsewere so I went ahead and got it from there. I sure hope that bundle gives you the extra push to get greenlit! :)
GamingPenguin [Linux] Oct 24, 2013 @ 12:22am
Why no Linux support? You should get the game ready for SteamOS
Liman3D  [author] Oct 8, 2013 @ 12:19am
@Motoki, Deo is still not Greenlit, what's why we haven't made much research on the subject for supplying Steam keys to Desura, Amazon and Shinyloot. I will make some research for information to get familiar how this can happen. Anyway as soon as Greenlit I am going to contact each of the stores, where you can get Deo to negotiate how to add Steam keys so that every customer who bought the game can get his own key. What we currently have is the emails of the people who bought the game from the official site. Therefore as soon as Greenlit and ported to Steam I can immediately send keys to those emails. Anyway I want to underline that if possible on the other stores we will make our best to give Steam keys to everyone, no matter where he/she bought the game.
Motoki Oct 7, 2013 @ 10:56pm
re: can only give Steam keys to people who bought from your site

Well that's not quite true. Desura, Amazon & Shiny Loot all have in the past allowed developers to provide Steam keys through their sites if they wanted to do that so you could contact those sites to provide the Steam keys to existing customers later if you wanted to. For Desura I think the process is even such that you can just add the keys there yourself. Or you could have owners request directly from you. It's not a requirement but it's generally what is done by most indie developers these days as a courtesy for existing owners once a game gets into Steam.

Also I think that making such a statement so as to only be willing to give keys to those who buy from your site might scare some people off from buying. I was thinking to buy from Desura since I like having games on a client & already have many games there but if I won't get a Steam key later then I will just wait and see if the game gets into Steam.
NoVa Oct 7, 2013 @ 7:18pm
I tried streaming about 30 minutes of this on my low 250KB/s upload speed (although there are some pauses like always). I failed quite a lot at playing though -
MulderYuffie Oct 2, 2013 @ 12:47am
Alright that is all well and fine thank you for the information! :) Might try and pick this title up soon :3
Liman3D  [author] Oct 2, 2013 @ 12:03am
we have email information about the people who bought the game from the official site only. Therefore as soon as greenlit we can send Steam keys to those who bought the game from only.
MulderYuffie Oct 1, 2013 @ 11:34am
If we buy this from the official site or Amazon or wherever will Steam keys be provided if greenlit?
Liman3D  [author] Aug 22, 2013 @ 6:05am
yes, the game is very reminiscent to Spyro, featuring large realms, collecting gems, gliding... However the game's difficulty is more like the Crash Bandicoot games, because the enemies are hard to beat, a lot of jumping is involved in each level and there are also lots of hard to pass obstacles.
Flamerion Aug 22, 2013 @ 5:10am
I can only think of Spyro when I see this.
