anyone wanting to have a compatable fort then download pocket campfire and build everything your self... there won't be any clashes
it seems like i will have to make my own walls since this windstad mod is not compatable with the mines

Awesome fort, but it would be super awesome if you made it compatiable with the windstad mine. If you combine them the blacksmith and front stairs glitch out. Also I can't even build the player house. Again hella gorgeous mod just wish it was compatiable.

the guards are an amazing but only like one or two attack the enemy and the rest dont when an enemy appears they just stay their or walk away can you plz fix

@ cheeseballs, after subbing did you run the play - data load order and let it insitall, Then go in gamer ?

This is really really cool i mean whooh.. Finaly a mod with stile. I do have a few suggestions tho. You might or might not do them but i dont mind, Any way i know your going to add a population to the town soo i have an idea on who to add . 1- argonians just a few 4-5 occupy the homes near the water . 2-A family of High Elves thay can have like a house where thay live and sell training for us eg. Enchanting-Alchemy. 3-A khajiit karavan who by the dragonborns permission was allowed to set up camp permanently ... i'v noticed alot of free space in the town you could put some tents and a caravan somewere. sooo basically just all the races that are unwelcome in most skyrim citys because honestly im kind of bord from avarege nord towns and villiges. Agen Thank you for this cool mod i'm currentaly populating it with ''summon wooden folowers mod'' . its doing fine i guss.

Can anyone tell me if this mod is still being worked on. I really enjoy the feel of what was done here but the town ouside the housing parameter could really use a population to finish it off.

Wish this could be made compatible with Winstad Mine mod. Both are awesome mods, and this location seems ripe for a fort to protect the river delta, but the two mods overlap slightly.

could you make this mod compatable with the winstad mine mod; unfortunatly the two clash so buildings become murged as one huge mess. All that would need to be done is have the walls moved more to the direction of solitude, to compensate you could make the port part of the fort bigger or more buildings on the coast,

concerning allowing players to build the fort themselves...

you could just ask for help with this on skyrim sure people there would be willing to tell you how to do it, i would start by thinking of each part of the fort as lego and then work from there.. seeing as thats how it would end up being built probably lol

I also tried it with the house in various modes of construction and I ran into the problem that whenever the mod was enabled it wouldn't build the house any further nor would any new construction options come up for my house. It was essentially stuck wherever it was at the point the mod was enabled. And yes i did this when this mod was the only mod enabled to see if was any other mod interfering, and none of them were. It didn't do this before the latest Skyrim update but apparently something in that update has broken this mode and made it unusable until after you finish building your house exterior. I'm sorry but you really need to fix this.

I had to start a new game as my old saves were corrupted. So when i went to build my house in the area with this mod activated it wouldn't build the house. It gave me the selections and it used the materials but nothing would appear in the spot where my house should have been. This mod is seriously broken as a result. And when I disabled the mod afterwords it wouldn't build my home then either.

So i loaded a previous save with the mod disabled and it wouldn't build my home even then. I had to uninstall everything and reinstall everything before i could build the house, without your mod enabled. However once i had my house built the way I wanted it I enabled this mod and it worked absolutely fine. But only after I had the house entirely built.

Hey @AlphaJoe I don't know if you will see this or not but just wanted to say you killed it with this mod. One of my biggest issues with Hearthfire was the homes were just so isolated and had nothing going on around them. You really changed that though. I hope you return to this mod to finish it up and maybe even do one for the Falkreath home too. Thanks buddy.

can't wait for the next update once added it made the place a bit less empty the only quirk I have is i tihnk the people should have mor dialog other than the options ofr buying a room or buying armor or whatever I want to se this place come to life more with the next update

hoping this gets updated or something... started a new game without this mod ticked and I cannot build anything here anymore I go to workstation guide and there is no options in the building guide or anything ?... I know you said this really didn't mess with the house itself but something happend. So am i basically forced to to have this mod now cause I tried deleting it to see if that helped an nothing... Don't get me wrong I really liked how this mod was going but now im kinda screwed...

I also think it would be a nice option to be able to set your Housecarls to live in the houses, instead of having normal NPC's...
I have alot of housecarls, I like travelling with them like a clan.

hey i got this mod and it cut some of anothe mod i had out so i turnd this mod off but the town is still there and it is crashing my game how do i get it off??

@shontovia - there's no satisfying BOSS while maintaining a functional, working Navmesh within the Village. So BOSS will in fact say that there are navmeshs missing, because there are. I had to remove them in order to make the new ones. Obviously any other Mod in the area won't be compatible because I've transformed the terrain massively. Hope this helps!

I really like these mods (checked them all out a month or so ago), but my mod cleaner and organizers are warning me of a lot of problems that could lead to crashes and whatnot. If you want to see them, download LOOT (the organizer that alerted me to yours and other mods needing repaired) and TES5Edit (shows every single thing that needs fixing). TES5Edit is highly recommended for any modder anyway. Hope you download it to help yourself out in any case. :) LOOT is a handy tool surpassing BOSS in organizing your mod listing while playing.

Great mod as always it's nice to see some actual PEOPLE in the town before it was very depressing seeing it so empty......The Back gate needs to be Double Guarded as the Greybeards tomb Ustengrov is a short walk away and necromancers are periodicly trying to raise greybeard bodies.....if Arngeir finds out he'll pell his beard out by the roots with BOTH HANDS ! Last thing the DB needs is a shouting zombie knocking residents about..Will the Secret cave ever be used for anything? Some Argonian residents would be most welcome esprvially KIDS.....Too bad hearthfire doesnt have a Teacher NPC.
