Hi Digital Cleaner,I hope you're well. I was wondering if you would post the SE version of the mod on Nexus. It's an excellent mod but I'm having the hardest time actually installing it from the bethesda page. The instructions in the link haven't solved it (step 2 just doesn't occur for me as the creation screen doesn't show) and looking at other pages on bethesda’s website was fruitless as things don't show up the way the instructions say. I can't find any good vids on how to install Bethesda creations either, and the only post I saw on reddit tells people to avoid downloading mods from the bethesda page altogether. I doubt I'm missing something obvious at this point. And the in-game 'mods' menu doesn't show it. I have the latest version of skyrim SE (1.6.1170) and am using Vortex with 350+ mods, a lot of which rely on SKSE and Nemesis and my game is running fine. Could you please let me know if I'm missing any steps or consider uploading it onto Nexus to be downloaded more easily?

Watch a video on how to install mods in-game and how to install them from the website. It's too much to explain here and the videos I made are years out of date.

hey so idk if you still check comments here but the mod wont activate i had it downloaded before i completed the quest to get the bow and ive deleted and reinstalled it multiple times and it wont activate

Well, i since moved on again, not in the mood for any elder scrolls right now, but if you play fallout 4, try the whispering hills mod, it turns the game into silent hill, sick mod to play if you add the extended perks, science boom and a few other mods, i recently created a rick sanchez character and i'm down to clown with heaps of booze and chems in a silent hill world with plasma weaponry and explosives.

@Lunatic Heretic, I like how you play your game. I stick to my favorite character mostly as well. Although, I made sure I played through as every choice so I could experience all stories. Played a LOT of Skyrim. So I can identify.

So many mods, so many options. Good stuff! I'll miss bethesda. So sad the died.

Being acquired by Microsoft was the end of spontaneous creation, hence their team no longer have over sight, legal does first. And legal will pour all over their stories to delete anything they think they could be sued for until you are left with something that was never what they started with. Sad when we lose developers like this. Unless we are lucky and that team opens a new studio. We will have to see.

I think most players choose to be a vampire lord, the other half choose to be werewolfs and the marginal few choose neither. But you can't really side with the volikhar and be a werewolf unless you stuff around completing the volikhar side as a vamp lord and then cure it and join the companions, so the ideal way is to be a companion werewolf and side with the DG, i have the orc werewolf saved, for now im replaying fallout 4 again, but when i go back to skyrim i'll play my orc werewolf, mainly because i plan on being a companion, dark brotherhood orc with varying crossbows and dual wield builds.

Lunatic Heretic, you know why the vampire castle came out so good and no one was able to take the dawnguard castle and make it really shine? Because dawnguard are representing good and good has been made to be boring. Good is under attack. Good is made to look 'weak'. That is my thoughts on it. Sad times.

Yeah i did too. Doesn't matter, i put 80hrs into the vampire mage thief, I put barely 4hrs into the warrior werewolf and was bored, and also outclassed in combat early on. Even with a werewolf perk mod & ordinator perks i found playing a werewolf warrior playstyle that was going to join the dawnguard faction rather tedious, i even had varying plans. I dont know. Shame there's nothing that overhauls the DG faction.

Lunatic Heretic, I looked around quite a bit for mods like what you describe there. It doesn't exist.

So, i just did all the quests for this mod, but some parts of it feels like i'm breaking immersion, great mod but now i'm looking for the opposite, something that boosts the dawnguard faction, i want to role play an orc werewolf, i have a lot of mods to make it good but i'm just missing something that makes the vampire hunting faction feel more like this mod.

Hey Pollin, I'm sorry I missed your question. Disabling guards shouldn't have any negative affect.

Love the mod! Absolutely worth learning how to use Bethesda's mod site for the SSE version, it's really neat!
I do have a probably stupid question: Would anything bad happen if I disabled the two guards in the master bedroom? I find them slightly creepy, just sort of sitting there in my room, and I can't have them follow me and set them to wait outside because of a follower mod conflict which is entirely my own fault.

truenk, me either! That is why I made the mod, So I can get messages like this in my comments page! Nevermind that there are over a million people using this mod worldwide with total success! Don't bother googling the problem or checking my discussions board under "FAQ & SOLUTIONS" for the answer to the problem you created with a mod conflict and refuse to do your own research to fix!! Just come here and complain that this mod caused your whole Skyrim life to collapse on you!

Don't bother uninstalling this mod if you are too lazy to do your own research on how to fix mod problems! Just complain and make someone else give you the answer that spent a year building a mod for you!

Install this mod at anytime but castle won't upgrade until "Touching the Sky" (get Auriels bow) is completed

@Savage Salty Dad, no this mod is not on nexus. You can modify steam mods in your local file directory just like you can nexus.

Is there a SE version? or will there ever be a version, id love to play this in skyrim VR but it would need to be a SE compatible mod to do so.

It decorates some rooms while adding 4 new towers, a dungeon and several vampire homes outside the castle in about five cities. I try to add instead of changing existing game objects/scripts. Reason being, changing vanilla game files is what causes mod conflicts.

Hey Demonlord09, the only true way to delete navmesh or everything else is to run a report while the mod is loaded in the "Creation Kit" and delete those cells this mod made by checking them off in the cells you aren't happy with. I dont' remember exactly how to do it, it's been a few years. But, there is a built in tool to do this. Very quick and easy. Thought I had done it. Guess I missed that one.

Quick, probably stupid question regarding the SSE version of the mod. What would be required to remove the broken Navmesh and markers that were left behind when the extra quest areas were removed?
I've noticed a conflict or two between them and other mods that edit Solitude and, since I'm not sure how to bring the missing parts of the mod back right now, I'd like to purge the remnants for the sake of compatibility.

Still love this mod and have continued to use it for so many years. Hope you have a Happy Halloween.

I dont post alot of comments, but this needs to be said, your mod is amazing and i love everything about it.
The new places,npcs,items,quests the whole thing about finnishing dawnguard and getting to make the place your own is hadled really well.

Your mod alone makes dawnguard worth buying.
