реально неожиданно. спасибо

I would never have figured this one out if I didn't look at the walkthrough. I've NEVER come across a map where you'd have to REDUCE your momentum.
adamu Nov 23, 2016 @ 12:22am
...and got it. That required a method I'd never used before, nice.
adamu Nov 23, 2016 @ 12:12am
Walks into second chamber, *mind blown*. And also, stuck. Going to have to come back to this one I think. :-)
zigzagtenniscoe Aug 28, 2016 @ 4:25pm
One thing tho, on the walls beside the large pit instead of the portalable surface only going up by 1 it go up by 2. Why is that? I even tried using it as a way to solve the test but then I found out the intended way...
zigzagtenniscoe Aug 28, 2016 @ 4:24pm
This one actually took me a while to figure out! Unique in the way that you actually have to control your momentum rather than going full blast. I was stuck in the second chamber for a while because I couldn't figure out how to get the momentum I needed without being in a place where I couldn't shoot anything decent... but then I realized there is in fact spaces where you can get the original momentum from dropping into the large pit and keep it, these are the portalable floors with no portalable ceiling above them, That was my missing key, I'm glad I found it now. Very nice puzzle, I honestly didn't think these could get much harder but I guess they could! Forces you to think about all the spaces you can use at all..

Love the puzzles you do, I'm about 30-40% successful without having to look on a Mevious puzzle; very nicely done.
Petutski May 20, 2016 @ 2:58pm
Excellent demonstration of controlled momentum. Played this map two years ago and called it "ninja not logic". I take that back now as once the logic was planned for, the portal placement was pretty easy. Show what a little experience can do. Thanks!
ovb1c Jan 2, 2016 @ 4:25am
Nice, as usual. I think this is the only room where I've seen this momentum.
Pamsy Dec 12, 2015 @ 9:46pm
Terrific! Like the invention of negative numbers. Hint: Don't hit the ceiling, go through the ceiling.
Ultimaximus Dec 6, 2015 @ 12:34pm
There are so few maps where you have too much momentum and you need to reduce it, rather than vice versa
Le Philio Aug 23, 2015 @ 5:59pm
So great...

Great No elements test again. This is a great series of maps. This map no different. Thumbs up!

excellent chamber!
lfairban Jun 8, 2014 @ 1:32pm
This one is really tricky. It took me a while to exicute the solution once I figured it out. I did quick saves while swinging throught floor portals.
Hell Diguner Jun 6, 2014 @ 8:21pm
I managed a ninja way (placing a ground and an angle portal in a split second) before I realized the easy way shown by Metzger Ben's video: http://youtu.be/Hn8-zgPgd8M

Then I beat it by pit -> bunnyhop across the room -> place portals for the jump
Then by pit -> vertical jump -> airstrafe to plaform
tu7650x May 26, 2014 @ 8:53pm
Brilliant, as usual. The hardest so far in terms of reflexion required to solve it. Totally kicked my ass for a while but finally solved it. Loved it.

PS: nowhere near ninja.... You just have to think and the solution is not hard to execute once you figure it out.
Petutski Mar 23, 2014 @ 12:08pm
Very cool.... but not logic....ninja.
z4rk Mar 7, 2014 @ 10:17am
genius. took me a long while to solve that 2nd part. momentum!!!!
stormsend Feb 25, 2014 @ 2:52pm
I liked it. Once you figure out the physics, it's a snap. Of course that's easier said than done. Thanks.
«[ČĻĻ]» pino Jan 24, 2014 @ 8:20am
Solved it like ken.roberts. Nice map, but not one of my favorite ones. Thanks.
luckylluck2 Jan 19, 2014 @ 12:27pm
amazing! first time i overshot something !
MetaMagi Jan 15, 2014 @ 6:21pm
Solved this, but I have no idea if I did it in the intended way. It felt a bit glitchy, the way I did it, involving weird game physics near portals.
John Doe Nov 21, 2013 @ 6:28am
Very creative map. Although i thought it relatively easy, it s still really exciting!
Asha Man Nov 15, 2013 @ 8:59pm
Only your maps make me actually look like my avatar.

A little tricky, but once again, a great chamber. Design 7/10 Difficulty 5/10
[ExR]-IAMV0LDY Nov 9, 2013 @ 4:32am
People who downvoted this probably just couldn't solve it! Great chamber, once again shows what can be done without any "complicated" element but just with core portal mechanics!
Barbos Nov 2, 2013 @ 6:07am
Very nice! The 2-nd part was a bit tricky. Solved it in 10-15 minutes, i think. Very clever momentum machanics.
matt Oct 2, 2013 @ 10:26pm
Wow, that last part is subtle - nice one.
p0rtalthumper Sep 6, 2013 @ 9:29pm
There's a common theme throughout the "no elements" chambers, and thus the difficulty can't really get harder than medium (unless of course some crazy ninja/speedrunning skills are involved).

Flings featured: wall fling, extended drop fling.
Donderbus Sep 4, 2013 @ 9:20am
hm... I did it another way :P
1. 1st (say orange) portal on the ground below the portable ceiling
2. 2nd (say blue) portal in pit
3. when I came out of the orange portal I shot the orange portal at the ceiling and the blue portal on the ground
4. when I came out of the blue portal I shot the orange portal next to it.
5. that's it.
guy612006 Aug 30, 2013 @ 6:21pm
didnt think a jump like that could be done. how do you come up with this stuff?
machmanx Aug 29, 2013 @ 2:02pm
Heh, I started out doing it ken.roberts way, but after 50 times I gave up. Then I did Metzger's solution and much easier. But at least I had the right idea, right, RIGHT??? :(
apollosbeamship Aug 11, 2013 @ 6:47pm
Not you again . Your maps are always a pain in the ass . Take it as a compliment , not a complaint .
Loveless Aug 7, 2013 @ 9:33am
I always meant to make the same chamber as that second one. Now I don't have to. :P

This map is genious [ ]

Not finding the real intended solution - I found another way. I used the 2-high portable wall surfaces beside the pit to solve the 2nd chamber - which worked. Shot out like a cannon and as I flew horizontally shot a port below me and entered it at high speed into the floor portal at 10-degree ange. Surprisingly I ended up seesaw-ing about 6 feet up and down which was barely enough to be able to make the fling to the exit.
TwirlySocrates May 22, 2013 @ 12:26am
These are fantastic!
Underscore May 4, 2013 @ 2:45pm
I had a feeling that was the solution. I approve.
EuroSong May 3, 2013 @ 9:53am
Love it! Genius :)
Malfaction May 2, 2013 @ 12:44pm
I finally solved it; I kept leaving and coming back to try again! I was mislead into thinking there was a reason for some of the portable walls. I'm ready for some medical help now! LOL.
Th3 Clergy Apr 27, 2013 @ 5:55pm
Seen the trick before, but this test chamber takes the cake (pun intended) when it comes to applying it. Great chamber, as always.
firefox Apr 25, 2013 @ 12:01am
update: solved.
firefox Apr 24, 2013 @ 11:31pm
I'm stuck. it's been already 1 hour.. :(
Geneosis Apr 22, 2013 @ 1:46pm
Momenum substractions, maybe i will make a map around that some day ^^ Good one anyway ;)
daloboy Apr 19, 2013 @ 6:40pm
Really nice! Love the "2 allmost identical rooms" effect! Good momemtum idea!
Here's mine ! Please test and comment. Thank you.
Le Petit Mort Apr 10, 2013 @ 11:41pm
You monster.

• More clever articulations of pre-existing mechanics;
• Two rooms!

• Thanking the stars that #2 wasn't as hard as it could've been;
