@Cai Did you let Steam update the mod files completely? I thought I had it working.

Unfortunately my PC is on the fritz so I can't really test on a clean file right now.

Very good mod, but I have some massive lag when i'm on rl'yeh when I try to summon Cthulhu, I think you add too much cultist and other monsters :)

Mi-go's a little broken, as are Weresharks, although not as broken as the crossbow or Nyarlathotep.

Just a heads up, a load of the textures have broken.

As far as I know at the moment, Nyarlathotep's torso appears as a big red triangle with an exclamation mark in it, as does the sea-elf crossbow.

Sweet. I absolutely love this mod, although a few bits of it are a bit clunky, but am glad that the enemies in this are actually a challenge to face, unlike in regular Skyrim.

Success! I think I'm fine if it's under 2 GB. If you all can handle a file that big, then this should work okay. I'll still try to get it converted, but it IS working.

Still not fixed. One of the music tracks will not convert to XWM for some reason. But if I leave it as a WAV file it makes my BSA too large to upload. So I'm stuck. Hopefully I can figure something out this weekend.

I can see every enemy in the original Here there be monsters, but not a single one in Call of Cthulhu
I can't seem to see the mod weapons, either.
Is there gonna be any fix anytime soon?

It's a group called Cryo Chamber that does weird ambient horror music. They have pieces specifically based on Cthulhu and Nyarlathotep, as well as some other weird stuff. I'm trying to use Cthulhu in sunken Rlyeh, Nyarlathotep at the plateau of Leng, and some tribal/chanting tracks in risen Rlyeh. It was working, but now it is not. I might be the conversion of .wav to .xwm format that is messing it up.

I'm trying to add custom music. So I messed up converting the music for Sunken R'lyeh, but the others were working fine. So when I finally got that track converted, it ended up being too large for Steam. So I tried compressing the BSA. And apparently that is not a good thing to do. I will try to fix it tonight. Sorry!!!! Try not to let it update.

Just a warning, I just updated the mod and added some music tracks. Unfortunately one of them did not get converted correctly, so the game will CTD if you go to Sunken Rlyeh. I suggest unsubscribing so your game will not update until I can get things fixed. Sorry!

OK, because after I complete the Old One quest, I sometimes get a target of "Kill the Prenumidium" and, even if I don't get it, the Hunter will still sometimes call me traitor.

@Cai No that's a problem. I think if one of the captains or the numidium is killed it accidentally triggers it.

The first mod I was a bit shaky with because some of the monsters were a bit buggy, but this one is just brilliant. Congratulations :)

@Cai It is completely playable, yes. I'm still in the process of ironing out some bugs and adding some features, but nothing major. All characters are voiced except for The Hunter; that is an ongoing project as he has a lot of lines to do. But yes, it's 98% complete. Give it a try!

Haven't gotten the mod just yet, but I do kind of plan to. The major thing I wanted to bring up is that a number of the screencaps are extremely blurry, so the issue is that it's difficult to tell what you're even looking at. This doesn't describe all of them, though, and the ones that give you an idea of what the mod offers are actually very good, because they do give the sense that you have built a considerably sized world added onto the existing Skyrim area. That, and the complete 5 star rating helps.

@Dawning On the "light" side, you should get a book called "The Star Spawn." If it's not in your inventory, it should be sitting in a pile of books beside Flagg.

On the "dark" side, the monster he wants you to kill is Karstaag, who is a part of vanilla Dragonborn. It is an unlisted quest in Dragonborn. I wanted to tie the stories together, so I equated Karstaag with Ithaqua (a Lovecraft ice monster). The pointer will point at Flagg until you kill Karstaag, then you can talk to him and advance the quest.

I'm having some issues myself. Flagg asks for the necronomicon in return for a tome I need to read, and my quest log says he gave it to me. But when I check my inventory, there isn't anything there, and I still have the Necronomicon. Also, I tried to join the cult, but when Flagg asked me to kill a monster for him in that questline, the marker still points to him. I tried looking "north" which was the only clue he gave about it's location, but I found nothing there.

So, read the mane of the mod, played most of the last mod, and immediately assumed that you had to kill Cthulhu. Then I read your Quest IDS, you say I can join Cthulhu, and I am immediatly even more of the hype.

Such mods are impossible to be; because, the company haven't create MARINE A.I. & behavior, therefore there is no way to make "marine monsters" ACTING LIKE these.
Great idea, but can't be done (properly).

I am in the process of doing a large, fairly final update. I have been fixing a number of items, and have all of the characters voice-acted except for the Hunter. I will update in a few weeks once I get most of the fixes done. Also, as you guys tell me about bugs I've been trying to fix them as I go along. So, short answer, yes.

Im stuck in the place that starts with a P, theres a bunch of sea elves, but they all are just running in place and everyone appears to be attempting to fight something but can't move. I had to turn off collision because I couldn't move either. I just want to go back to dawnstar, but the ship I got here on won't take me back. Im so confused, I talked to hunter on his boat, went under deck to grab some items and now I'm stuck here, I can't even teleport back to dawnstar using the coc console command

To "go to solstheim", enter the hunter's ship and turn the dwemer valve. You should arrive at the opposite end of the island from raven rock.

... Ive finished the Call of cthulhu quest, Hunter says that i need to go to Solsthein but when i go there there is nothing! Maybe is in a specific place or is just bugged? And i want to be with Cthulhu. HELP!!!!!!

Oddly, that boat was in it's correct place. This is a really great mod overall, I love the monsters' models and how you tied the Cthulhu Mythos' lore in with the Elder Scrolls' lore.

type "coc cochtbmrlyehrisencenter" to go to Rlyeh. when you update the stages you might have to walk around a little bit cause there's a triggerbox that knows when you reach the center of the city (the boat's supposed to take you to the edge.) Let me know if the next part works too; there's another boat that's supposed to spawn :-\

Thanks for your help, and for making a great mod. The enable command didn't work, but the coc method did. But, now the boat to R'lyeh is gone. Help would again be appreciated.

Also, I discovered on accident that you can start the "Old Ones" quest, even on the cult path, by turning the valves in the dwemer machine, then activating the crystal, at which point the Hunter will teleport to you and give you the next part of that quest.

Hmmm did you try fast traveling then going back? If the pointer is there, that means the book IS there, it's just disabled. Try clicking below the pointer in the console and type "enable". That might make it appear. If not, you can just do "coc cochtbmorgnumspalace". You'll probably have to update the stage, so do "getstage cochtbm4thecrawlingchaos" to get the current stage (can't remember what it is, probably 80 or 90) then "setstage cochtbm4thecrawlingchaos ##+5". Add 5, then if it gives an error add 10. That should fix you. I don't know why it wouldn't have appeared though, I'll look into that.

Nope, nothing. The quest marker points to where it should be (outside his door, right next to where he's standing), but nothing's there. Do you have a code I could use with the coc command to travel to pyandonea? I can bypass the bug if I use setstage and coc to go to pyandonea.
