It's ok. I just uninstalled the DG version and went with the Atronach Forge version. Quick fix.

Unfortunately, no. Part of me wants to echo the face sculptor: "My techniques only work on the living, not those who have crossed over into undeath," but that's not fair.
I'll work on a way to use the Skyforge to obtain the True Master Sword, but I'm going have to make it difficult, to avoid making the Dawnguard forge obsolete.

Sooo... I picked the vampire questline so now there is no forge at Fort Dawnguard, but i don't want to corrupt the sword. Can i still use the Skyforge to make it into the True version?

I love this master mod you made, but do you think you could make the pedestal to put the sword in, that would make the mod even more cooler?
derpySalamander 21 déc 2013 à 12h29
Thank you very much! I'll be sure to grab all three

There is no awakening recipe at the Hall of the Vigiliant: only the purification recipe. The Awakening recipe can only be found at Kilkreath Ruins, and the corruption recipe is in Darklight Tower. They don't rely on whether or not you have the sword. That would be needlessly complicated.
I made a few videos explaining the exact locations, and they can be watched by clicking on "To corrupt the Master Sword" or whatnot in the description, or through the images bar up there.
derpySalamander 21 déc 2013 à 11h24
I can't find the awakening recipe at the Hall of the Vigilant. Is the recipe for purification the only one that's there? Can't find that one either but I assume that is because I haven't corrupted the master sword so it hasn't spawned.. Help please?
JKalenad  [créateur] 4 déc 2013 à 18h08
I'd be happy to help with any issues corrupting or awakening the swords, but I need more specific information as to what's going wrong.
To start with, though, make sure you're at the right forge with Elven Smithing and Arcane Blacksmith.

Its to bad the mod maker can't put it on stream work shop in packs like the scout armor mod I have.I like the nordic steel and stalhrim glass armor. But the modder has to do what he has to do.lol TKS for the inforamtion.
JKalenad  [créateur] 19 nov 2013 à 9h25
That's the Morrowind Armor mod by Teh-Husky. It's not on the Workshop anymore: my guess is that it got too big.

what is the armor in the frame where the guy is wearing red?I like it .Is it just a helm of a whole set?And can you get it on stream work shop?
JKalenad  [créateur] 8 nov 2013 à 10h05
Oh! phew. I thought it might be, since it's difficult to intentionally make a weapon influence armor and bodies, let alone by accident.
nightwang 8 nov 2013 à 5h09
It fixed itself. It was probably my fault somehow with another mod.
JKalenad  [créateur] 7 nov 2013 à 8h45
Well that's a new bug report...huh. I don't know what could be causing that...
nightwang 7 nov 2013 à 3h23
I just forged the Corrupted Master Sword and my arms dissapear when I use it.
Rabid Duck 6 nov 2013 à 14h42
That makes sense
JKalenad  [créateur] 5 nov 2013 à 15h49
I have a feeling the "better" Daedric artifact mod has something to do with it. I have never had the fire instantly kill reasonably high level undead, and I've been using the Master Sword since I first made this mod.
The Master Sword DOES use the same effect as Dawnbreaker for the explosion, so it is possible that the "better" Daedric artifact mod tampers with it to make Dawnbreaker (and by extension the Master Sword) a bit overpowered.

I hate overpowered weaponry, so I made an effort to make my Master Sword balanced.

Short version: My mod is not making the explosion overpowered.
Rabid Duck 5 nov 2013 à 14h27
Jkalenad, after playing around with the TMS for a bit, I noticed that the Dawnbreaker effect is kind of screwed up. For example, I only hit an enemy twice with it, and the fire instantly kills. Any reason why this is happening? Or is this because of my better Daedric Artifact mod or something? I love the sword but I will be tempted to not use it if this is happening.
Erebus 4 nov 2013 à 21h34
Thank you.
JKalenad  [créateur] 4 nov 2013 à 21h29
There are some stairs in Ancestor Glade that keep going up to the top of the cave. Ancestor Moths rest on flowers there.
Erebus 4 nov 2013 à 21h22
Question, how do you get the Ancester Moth wing?
Rabid Duck 9 oct 2013 à 16h39
Dont know why anyone would be convinced its weak, does more damage than the Corrupt Version, looks better, and is a great weapon
JKalenad  [créateur] 9 oct 2013 à 14h39
Yeah, it's probably the upgrade and the Gauntlets. The True Master Sword is equal in strength to a Daedric sword, so it should be fairly balanced. My character is level 50 and uses the True Master Sword, the Silver Gauntlets, and a Mirror Shield and she still struggles.

What's funny is that I got a complaint a while back that it wasn't strong enough.
Rabid Duck 8 oct 2013 à 18h49
Maybe bc i have it at legendary upgrade and the golden gauntlets, 70 damage and fast attack speed....
Rabid Duck 8 oct 2013 à 18h48
The True Master Sword is kind of overpowered, I'm maybe level 35? And I can 2shot almost anything around my quest level, I owned a Dragon Priest with the Mirror Shield, Durnevhiir, and then whenever his summoned minnions staggered him, at least 3 swings = ded
Tuffy 6 oct 2013 à 13h14
As an die hard fan of the Legend of Zelda series I am totally gonna try this as soon as I possibly can! :D
JKalenad  [créateur] 21 sept 2013 à 15h34
I have some videos that explain the locations up in the images bar, but also linked to from "To corrupt the Master Sword" "To awaken the Master Sword" and "To Purify the Corrupt Master Sword" in the description
n8tv86 21 sept 2013 à 15h03
hey where exactly is the recipe in fellglow kepp, might as well ask where exactly the other recipe in kilkreath ruins
n8tv86 21 sept 2013 à 0h33
sorry my bad
JKalenad  [créateur] 20 sept 2013 à 17h44
This is the Dawnguard version, so the Master Sword would be in Ancestor Glade.
n8tv86 20 sept 2013 à 16h10

Awesome, can't wait to try it out!
JKalenad  [créateur] 4 avr 2013 à 16h09
The note in Kilkreath Ruins is in the room right before you fight Malkoran.
As for making the Dark Master Sword look like Demise's sword, I ca'n't, as that would require modelling experience and software I don't have.
Plus, Demise's sword is a different sword than the Master Sword. The Dark Master Sword is meant to be a corrupted version of the normal blade.
Dr. Mecha 4 avr 2013 à 9h34
another thing i want to add is why not make the dark master sword look more like Demise's sword from skyward sword?
Dr. Mecha 4 avr 2013 à 8h53
where in Kilkreath Ruins do i find the note to charge the sword
