A lot of this author's mods are dirty, and it will require a lot of time to clean his collection. If you do not know how to clean the dirty mods with TES5Edit, it could make your game unstable. Also, he states navemesh deletions are intentional.

@WeiB Read the Description the Auther is using RCRN (Classic) which changes the lighting and a tiny bit of the Contrast in game i have RCRN Classic as well and i looks like the pictures so try getting RCRN and then look at it

Much like the Saturation mod (which I just commented on) this one looks nothing like whats shown in the screenshots, it's far more extreme regardless of brightness settings.
Zombiehacker595 24. apr @ 4:38am

um i just started up skyrim with both installed and working lol. Looks great!
Tribble 22. apr @ 7:44pm
It was a different mod sorry for the trouble
eniVibe 20. apr @ 3:42am
Dude, set the resolution to your monitors resolution and it may increase fps. Having it too low will just make things worse.
Silioth 17. apr @ 5:41am
Has this mod any effect to the addons? so does look solstheim also better?

Is there something like this for dungeons or indoor places..? Outside looks great, but when yougo inside (anywhere), it kinda throws you back lol
Happy Hunter 4. mar @ 9:03pm
@jrazzatazz Beastliness is not a word. You mean to say "primordial". In other news... this mod looks fantastic. Everything really comes out, and the shadows look like shadows instead of sections of darker wish-wash. I'm not sure which one to pick up, the saturation boost or this contrast boost. Keep up the great work!

This is a brilliant mod. It makes the game look much more realistic and gritty, especially when combined with other mods. It does take some getting used to and can seem overly bright at first, and you will need to change the brightness settings in the game to get the right combination, but it is well worth it.

This combined with the recommended RCRN have made my game much more realistic and atmospheric. I always thought it was stupid being able to sneak inside dungeons and tombs clearly in plain sight but remaining hidden, and had never used a torch except in a couple of really dark areas. Now things are much better lit, much more realistic, with lots of dark areas to hide in, shadows, and lights which now only light up their immediate areas. Now I really do need a torch.

Thanks a lot, this mod has breathed new life into my Skyrim.

mix saturation with this to get best visuals
The Poop Train Conductor 27. feb @ 10:21am
constipatedspy i reccomend this, because after a while you do not notice the saturation, but it is your choice that matters.
Fusion Cabbage 24. feb @ 12:39pm
what is recommended this one or the saturation boost?

I like this mod, but there are some problems with it. I got it because I wanted the blacks to be brought out a little stronger, making the game look a little sharper. This mod seems to simply create a contrast map over the whole screen. Faded objects in the distance are faded to the point of being completely white, and the bloom hurts my eyes. Do you think you could possibly create one which simply darkens some of the shadows? Or at least compensate for the bloom thing by bringing it down?

Regardless, keep up the good work. I can't wait to see what you have planned for the future.

some of you assholes are so unappreciative, many of whom never contribute anything, except whiny criticism. You guys are getting free stuff, and when something goes wrong, you guys proceed to criticize those who provided you with said free material. Grow up. Stop bitching; and, instead, provide some constructive feedback. This is why humanity will never rise beyond beastliness.
James Raynor 18. jan @ 7:55am
...Instead of demanding something from a modder, who has, for no charge at all, put this together for your personal use. If you want something done, get it done yourself. Don't expect "mister modder" to do it for you.
RadMystical 3. jan @ 11:04am
Do the visual changes affect other mods such as Lush Trees and Lush Grass?
natalie.peters95 2. jan @ 9:59am
ive been reading the comments, and when its night or im in a dungeon i cant see anything. so im guessing this is the reason
Wobbleboo 31. des, 2013 @ 1:44pm
is this mod able to combine with your other saturation boost?
Matheus Rocha (⌐■_■) 30. des, 2013 @ 3:36pm
i have neon at night
Toxtie 27. des, 2013 @ 4:34pm
this does not affect the game, can't see difference. >:c
Ossifieder 9. des, 2013 @ 5:00pm
It's said to be 100% compatible with CoT, but CoT always overrides it, even if I put ICB in the bottom of my load order. Making a merged patch doesn't help.
benjamint92 8. des, 2013 @ 11:05am
Ransom, the discription said to change the brightness xd
i actually came here seeking the same answer that didnt involve changing the brightness but meow :)

Look, mister modder, allow us to easily change the contrast and sturation in game, that might make the mod a lot better.
Bradenm1 3. des, 2013 @ 7:31am
Overdone :(
Magma 21. nov, 2013 @ 3:11am
A good idea, but he has overdone it. The mod needs some method of adjusting the amount of contrast introduced by this mod. Increasing the brightness only white washes the whole image. The only way to make this contrast less extreme (and it is pretty extreme) is to adjust the contrast.

Gandalf The Digital 20. nov, 2013 @ 4:14pm
cannot seem to find RCRN is their another name for it?
vern_how3 19. nov, 2013 @ 9:20am
This is amazing! I dont know wtf you guys are talkin about, but it puts skyrim in a totally diferrent light! and i can see farther!
johnnyt603 16. nov, 2013 @ 1:40am
I much prefer saturation, contrast makes everything look strange and rather unrealistic everything is dark. Whereas saturation if colourful and everything is clear.
MaharBread 15. nov, 2013 @ 9:48am
Constrast or Saturation? Which one to choose. Still can't decide. Suggestions?

Great Job, this is what I've been missing from my collection of mods. Don't know why modern games always have such washed out colors (not all games but I've noticed it in more than just Skyrim) thankfully some are moddable.
Kitty of All Derps 2. sep, 2013 @ 1:08pm
thanks ;)
