You can start at lvl 1 and do this as has been done by many people but if you have trouble then import a party to make things easier.

Look at the shape of the room you are in its sahped like a man, and the torches are in holders in specific limbs, so eg the cowardly feet are given one to flee would be to place torches in the feet holders only (don't do this one by the way you will most likely die) so there are torch holders in the heart head, hands and feet and various combos will get you rewards

I'm in a room that has an alcove w/ 3 torches. Along with the torches there is a scroll that says "Enlightened mind and passionate heart move forward..." etc. No matter which torches I light, all, some, none... I can't get out. I see no secret passages to open either, though I can hear the monsters through the wall. Help?

Yes both keys open the treasure room, to get into that room you need only head down the stairs nearby and you will find your way in eventually

Hi, first of all i love your dungeon! nice riddle, not too easy but not too difficult either ;)

i have a question: at the end of the level 2, just before the stairs to level 3 there is a room with 2 shields on the wall a, a table and a bed. How can i access it?
And i have found a second ornate key on this level, is it for the treasure room on the level 1 too ?

Sounds like you may of missed a plate in the maze, as one will open the final door

See the video guide above in the discussions, I think the maze is part 5 off the top of my head

i have just cleared out lvl 3 apart from the room at the end of the maze, cant seam to get that open. I just teleported up to the upper guard station and let myself out, what do i do now?

lvl 6, I'm guessing the champions hall, you place a champions token on one of the altars to recieve the weapon being held by the statue behind it, you can't get them all so you have to choose.

If you're refering to the altar in the crypt, it needs the skull of a certain person

ok, so you can see him through the grating and behind you on the wall is a hidden switch, hitting it will open a secret hallway in a nearby room.

Well i enjoy it very much. I must say i tried to play lets say 10 or 15 dungeons and yours was one of the best. I mean sometimes they were too tough so i didnt get too far, very often they had bad level design (not realistic and not inventive). I like yours and tell me the name of your second one i try it. Thanks for help i am gonna play it now :-)

very easy. the button activtes a teleporter that moves the objects on the one side to the pressure plate on the far side, just drop an item onto the the cell on hte rigth (as you come in)

If you enjoyed this and want a chellenge for that leveled party I have a second dungeon for higher level groups too.

Hey very nice dungeon, very well balanced, interesting, nice puzzles. I cant say anything about the diffculty cause i was playing with my leveled party. Currently i am stucked in the room with cyrcling teleports (ging around the room). There is a button but when i press it nothing happens. I dont know what to do - there are two "jail" doors but cant open them

I found a bug in the Scribes Challenge. It's possible to put two wisdom stars or two begger's mantles at the third altar and two champion token at the last one.

ok rune flasks only make two types of potion a combo health/energy potion with a tar bead and blooddrop and a full restore potion with a desert pearl added to the result of the first.

The pearl also enhances normal enrgy and health potions wehn added to a complete potion

Hi, very nice dungeon. But, I think I've missed something because I can't make some potions with the rune flasks. I've understood that I need some 'mana' to make it, but I can't learn how. Thanks in advance for your help.

type Evante (with capital E) as the name for the first character and choose his traits[\spoiler] and ignore the other the characters, once you have him you can use the import feature to import him into other peoples dungeons too.

@rpcigol, the demons eyes are the blue gems from lvl 1 hence the scroll on the table warning you to take them

@count: sorry to hear that, the maze has a single plate that spawns all monstes but it can be avoided, crossing it just lets you skip some other plates

Hey...just checking in. I just finished my third play through of paths...this time with the assassin. Pretty kick ass. I'm off to play Sands again. Best! I'm still looking forward to your next mod...if you need a play tester let me know!

Just spent a few hours on this mod. It was very good at first but then i came upon The Maze. Stepping of the pressure plates is needed in order to exit to maze. At one point I stepped on a plate that spawned around 20 enemies. In order to defeat these enemies i had to backtrack some. After I defeated them I continued forward and had to step on the same plate again which RESPAWNED ALL THE ENEMIES. After dieing multiples times I realised that this maze is just an overall terrible design and i was unable to continue because of it.

The mod also has a huge ammount of glitches which i had to read up on the steam forums to workaround them.

Overal I'd have to give this one a 5/10, it would have been much better if not for the glitches and unbeatable maze.

I'm stuck on lvl 2 .Where it asks for demon eyes defiled to go into the alcoves .I tried the green gems, but that did nothing. Or how do I defile them?

ah yes that. I've gone over it a few times and it seems to only happen sometimes, Its caused by one of the counters not registering the gem on the left eye alcove, for future reference it can be fixed by placing it twice if it happens.

I will of course look into it, hopefully to be with the thing for good

found a bug i think in the 2nd level. The door didn't open after "sight was granted". I had to redo the placement of the gems for it to work.

@Corporate axe the the cartograph door opens when you put the green gems in the eye alcoves (look at the shape of the map), just make sure you remove the others items first (its a bug I'm working on it) this is one of those questions I've answered before, so check the other psots here for help, if you still get stuck after I'll here to help

I'm stuck on the floor with the puzzle stating "Cartographer grant me sight" or light or something like that. I've tried placing torches on all of the torch stands down there, but the door refuses to open.

yes monsters spawn each time you stand on a pressure plate, one of the the plates will spawn all the monsters but it is also avoidable, the key is to make your way through the maze standing on each plate the minimum number of times (once for most, one has to be stepped on twice, and the worst one can be avoided

those three pressure plates if triggered toghether open a secret room, one with tentacles, lurker boots and a skull

I think I have all of the items, unless there's something that gives resistance to shock. Right now, my mage keeps dying from the flying blue creatures with the lightning attack. What level do you think our characters should be in this area? Also, are the monsters supposed to respawn every time you step on the plates?

There's one other thing I'm confused about. Near the stairwell that you have to move the torches from the first room to the second, there are three chambers with pressure plates in them.

have you gone aound the maze?, past the pit that leads to the maze is a set of stairs, this leads to a round-about section of lvl3 and should net you some good gear.

and if not there then go to the treasury on lvl2, its in the top right corner room, a secret hallway inside the secret room in that chamber, there is a key on floor by the altar and another on the floor by the dragon statue in the top right corner of the dragon room, the items in there should help, pick the two that best suit your party. I'm afraid I'm a little stuck.
The only place I can seem to get to is the Maze, but the monsters are way to powerful for me.
