That's not necessary as this mod only deals with barrels and sacks containing vegetables and sacks. Treasure chests are unchanged.

When barrels and sacks are set to respawn, they will respawn according to game settings, usually 10 ingame days.

When you say that new content will be available after respawning of the sack, is that only when you first run the plugin? Or do a barrel/sack's contents refresh every 10 ingame days? :music:

OK, I will see what I can do. If it's not a lot of work I might put the chest changes in this mod too. And I will look into the missing leeks.

Also, there aren't any leeks in sacks or barrels. Kinda need those for the soup.

That sounds like a HUGE pain in the butt.
Maybe just a "more loot in chests" type thing would be better.
The only other "more loot in chests" mod I've found messes up the leveling table and winds up giving daedric armor and weapons out at like, level 20.
I think something that gives more items in chests and raises the gold amounts would probably work better than "lock level = loot level". Probably be a lot easier too. I wouldn't know, only thing I ever made a mod for was Petz5.

I don't know if this has already been done before! If not, it's not that easy to do, as the lock level is put on the chest once a chest is placed in the world(s). The amount of loot that you can find in a chest is leveled, so it depends on the level of the player. There are, roughly calculated, about 60 predefined respawning chests, but there are almost a 1,000 chests in the world(s), each with its own lock level or key requirement, and depending on one of these 60 default chests. Hell of a job, I would say!

would you consider a similar mod for chests? I find chests with master locks on them that only have 15 gold inside. What a rip off! Do you think you could find a way to make the loot equal to the lock difficulty?

Yes, by using the Creation Kit. Select the meat barrel in the Object Window, double-click on a cell in the Cell View Window and then drag-and-drop the barrel in the Render Window. Just put the meat barrels anywhere you like.

Yeah ^^ I'd love to use the Hunting Rebalanced mod but I have another mod that already changes weight for many items including meats and animal stuff, so I can't

Yes, there is! But using this mod together with "Hunting Rebalanced" or exchanging it for my later "Hunting and Gathering" there's no real need for it. Otherwise it's a lot of work replacing vegetable or ingredient barrels with meat barrels.

An update has been uploaded and cabbages are added to the barrels (leveled, same as the other vegetables).

@mrktucson: There's no script in the mod. Vegetables are added to the barrels and sacks through leveled item lists.

Types of vegetables, fruit, ingredients, etc. spawn randomly in barrels and sacks, just as in vanilla Skyrim. I have only increased the amount of items that (re)spawn.

i was down in rift and there was no cabbage at all.

I liked the idea of this, but after having played with this for a few days now, I do have one major (personal) problem with it. Mostly, I'm not a big fan of the renamed barrels. (Breezehome, in particular calls the barrel I keep all my tools (picks, hammers, axes, shovels) in a Vegetable barrel, and this bugs the crap out of me.) I know logic has no place in games, but how exactly do I look at an obviously unmarked, unlabeled barrel or sack and know what's inside it?

I know that no one is twisting my arm to take all elebenty jillion items that are inside most of the barrels, and I don't, but I would like to mention that there are some small-sized barrels that spawn in dungeons with absolutely ridiculous amounts of goodies compared to their size. (I'm sure this is nothing a mod can handle-- capacity based on scale of the object --so I don't blame the mod so much for this.)

I'll try this out and see if it creates an imbalance. I think it's a good idea though. It always annoyed me that I'd raid an entire Fort, and find two potatoes a carrot and one beer. Really? Twelve bandits were sharing and surviving on that? lol No wonder they were so crabby when I walked by!
