Well, this is the second map I've done of yours (1st The Forbidden). I look forward to trying to do the rest, from oldest to latest. I'm hooked. Thank you

Actually I did check out some other uploads on your Youtube channel.
ScubaDude 25/abr/2016 às 19:43
Skyferret, check my YouTube channel. I've got a bunch of videos of me playing your test chambers, and a bunch more subscribed that I'll get to eventually. I really enjoy your chambers... maybe one of these days I'll take the time to make some chambers of my own.

@ ScubaDude.........Thanks for video.

Great map! Lots of logical puzzles! Thanks!

I had to restart when I put a cube on the middle stairs in the third room and they popped up and threw the cube up on the top landing. Couldn't figure out how to get it back or respawn it, so I had to begin over. Other than that it was a fun and satisfying brain teaser of a map.
Spaceminnow 28/mai/2015 às 20:25
I may be in the zone. I went thru that puzzle with good logical flow :)

Not bad. I knew what I had to do, but that didn't stop me from screwing up a few times. Well done!

Pretty tricky map, took me a while but I really enjoyed it. I would love to see more maps like this.

The room in the 2nd picture above in your cycle had me confused for a while. Once I realized that you needed to go back and get a cube from the previous room, it became much more doable!
EuroSong 7/mai/2013 às 13:26
I finally came back to this chamber after having been puzzled before. Yes, it is a good chamber - thanks Skyferret!
Why not try my own latest creation, "Misdirection" if you really like a challenge. You'll find it in my workshop :)

I think I see what you mean. After that first button, go up the stairs, then portal the cube to yourself by firing a portal under the cube. Sometimes it's so easy to miss these things when you're building a puzzle. Something to remember next time. Thanks for pointing that out.
YouVotedTrump&AllYouGotWasAHat 23/abr/2013 às 22:11
nice map - not sure the first button on the last leg of the map is needed though.
Skyferret  [autor(a)] 1/mar/2013 às 19:29
@jeroenvt. Your welcome. Glad you enjoyed it. And also, just hint. A few of my puzzles are like that. You have to fizzle the cube (from a different location) to get another.
Seravail 1/mar/2013 às 14:28
Thoroughly enjoyable puzzle, great fun.
Seravail 1/mar/2013 às 14:18
Wow, I can't believe I didn't see that... Thanks for the help :p

Excellent idea.
Thoroughly enjoyable.

Very nice map!
Skyferret  [autor(a)] 20/fev/2013 às 12:13
@jeroenvt. For starters, you can clearly see that the light bridge can be activated by portalling the laser beam. This must be done "after" you go up the first set of stairs. However, this means the stairs are in the way of the portalable panel where the laser must go in to activate the light bridge as mentioned. After you go up the first set of stairs, you'll notice the cube dropper button is in reach. If you get a new cube, this fizzles the first one, and the stairs now come down (leaving the panel free to be portalled). You can now activate the light bridge after you get up the very first set of stairs. Now the cube can fall on the light bridge while you're up there. I'll leave the rest up to you. Just remember, the cube dropper button can be pressed as many times as you like.
Seravail 20/fev/2013 às 5:52
Ugh, I don't get it... I can't even get past the first room. Can't take the cube up with me, can't leave it on the button & portal it out. When I try to land one on the light bridge, I still have to stand on the button to get the stairs to come up if I align my portals with the lighting receptor thingy. My mind has been broken, good job, been a while since I couldn't solve a room in less than half an hour.
Mitch McWiggins 17/fev/2013 às 19:52
Good one, thanks.
Skyferret  [autor(a)] 17/fev/2013 às 16:00
@unc0nn3ct3d. I guess sometimes you just run out of ideas. Then when I think of another design for another puzzle, I say to myself "hmmm, I could have used that idea on the other one". LOL. But thanks for playing.
unc0nn3ct3d 17/fev/2013 às 14:50
Really great start and middle to this but the ending just seemed a bit too easy

Was a nice one! I skipped this room since you can portal in the second floor. I really enjoyed the logic behind this one !
Please try my No 8 map and comment! Thanks.

No probs. Great chamber may I add!
Skyferret  [autor(a)] 15/fev/2013 às 14:01
@Dr. Krunklehorn: Fixed and edited the map. Thanks for pointing that out. Your in the credits. I always like to make sure the player doesn't get stuck, but I definitely missed that one.
✧°˖ Fren ʕ•̀ᴥ•́ʔ 15/fev/2013 às 11:49
Players can get stuck immediately on entry by throwing the cube on top of the ledge.
Andi 15/fev/2013 às 8:52
Wow, that was a brain teaser. Great job, thumbs up.

If you like a challenge, you might like this one.
smeenz 15/fev/2013 às 2:47
I was very stuck on the 3rd chamber, trying to complete it with one cube... until I realised I had left one behind in the previous room
Skyferret  [autor(a)] 14/fev/2013 às 19:01
@EuroSong: One of the things particular to this puzzle is that when a stairway is up, the panel behind it can't be portaled. But when it's down, the panel can be portaled. You will also notice that besides the button on the floor, it also takes a laser relay to lift the stairs. Sometimes it's a matter of having to get a new cube, and fizzling the old one. You may think that after you climb the first stairs, how can you be down there to get a new cube. Like 2 places at once. But look what else that laser relay activates. Perhaps something the new cube could fall on.
EuroSong 14/fev/2013 às 15:15
I can't get past the first puzzle - and I'm no n00b. I can't figure out a way to take the cube with me when I go up the stairs, because it has to remain on the button to activate the stairs. There are no portal surfaces upstairs. I'm stumped. Any clue?
Lil' Gideon 14/fev/2013 às 14:53
This is great! It's one of the best puzzles I've played in a while. It managed to be simple, but enough of a head-scratcher to take some thought.
GraveNoX 14/fev/2013 às 9:43
Nice one.
