No worries, was just wondering whether it was still in-progress. Priorities change; moving on is completely understandable. Good luck in the world!

a year on, I attempted to get it working a few times, but was mostly unable to remember how I actually made the mod. I spent like a week trying to relearn (also getting back into skyrim so I could actually go over to the dragonborn expansion area) before getting a full time job again and losing all my free time... that was like last july.

I can try to get back into it, but honestly, I havent even thought of skyrim for months

Near a year on, how's that Dragonborn support coming? Still very much interested in it!

you should make one for dragonborn

This is just an addon for NineInchNail's work, I would go to the original page and offer that to him. I dont need any part of the donation, he did a good 95% of the work, I just added a few things to it. here is the link to the original mod
TheDeadDude 30 apr, ore 5:55
Hey, NineInchNail how can i donate money to you to support your work? I'm a huge fan of this mod and i cannot live without it! add me and pm me for further inquiry.

Also i see it's been awhile and a new author is on the team, FeniAraneae i guess you two can split the donation?

Hello Out of Rock Puns. Ever since my first modded mage playthrough, Invested Magic has been my all-time favourite mod, and I'd like to help out with the Dragonborn patch, if you'll have me.

Over the past few months I have grown quite talented with understanding and modifying mods, and building esp patches that produce the effect desired through the use of tes5edit's Copy as Override function (to the point that the 161 plugins that make up my load order work together seamlessly, and without mod conflict related CTDs or errors).
I've been studying your mod and Invested Magic very intently lately, and have a decent understanding of how they function, and how I might go about adding the relevant effects and changes to other spells and magic effects.

I've sent you a friend request through Steam, if you want to talk further.

there is a few different mods called Better Vampires, the one I use works perfectly fine:

I will mess with it on my side, It appears to be working just fine here, try casting Dispell once to clear any effects you might have on yourself before casting?

Same thing here, I can use both the vampire and the werewolf perk trees without any crashing, not sure why it would do it for you.

Remember that the casting is only a few mana, but it will lower your Maximum Mana until the summoned creature is gone.
ElderGamer1 17 nov 2014, ore 7:13
I just began using "Better Vampires" and I could not remember if it is compatible with your Mod from the last time I played...?
ElderGamer1 17 nov 2014, ore 7:07
You have made such a great difference in magic use for me so I just wanted to let you know that! I use both Mods and they work great.

Stendarr's Aura still stuck
Sagi [๙] 3 nov 2014, ore 0:33
Is both your mod compatible with dawnguard? I crash when I try to access perks tree as a werewolf
Aumega3 1 nov 2014, ore 4:13
When I conjure Mist/Wrath/Bone-man it does not use any magic at all.. :O
Ashoka 12 set 2014, ore 9:40
Keep rocking you glorious brony
FeniAraneae  [autore] 10 set 2014, ore 20:37
Update Up everyone! Stendarr's Aura is now working. I'm going to make a Dragonborn one soon, once I actually look into what the DLC added, I havent actually tried it yet.
FeniAraneae  [autore] 10 set 2014, ore 1:00
I want to deeply apologise for everyone waiting for an update to this. I had a series of real life troubles last year, and honestly, when things settled down, I had completely forgotten about this.
Things are much better off now, and I spent a bit today setting up an update, I have Stendarr's Aura nearly finished, and I am working on expanding to Dragonborn.
Dragonborn I believe I will make as a seperate mod, in case someone happens to have one, but not the other DLC.

I will try and get these out by the end of the week, again I am sorry for the unreasonably long wait.
Hestmord 9 set 2014, ore 16:06
Are you going to update this?
Ashoka 31 ago 2014, ore 7:18
Come on man, you still haven't gotten around to making the change to Stendarr's Aura?
Alfie 13 gen 2014, ore 5:34
If you get a chance to update this for Stendarr's Aura (which you can actually get as a vampire with Pacify), would you mind adding support for Arvak at the same time?
Filthy casuals 19 dic 2013, ore 10:47
Well then you just got favorited, and ill look back for when it updates
FeniAraneae  [autore] 19 dic 2013, ore 10:03
I didnt think of this spell, because I didnt side with the Dawnguard, I will add this with an update, thanks for pointing it out.
Filthy casuals 19 dic 2013, ore 9:54
Yeah you missed the only cool and or important spell for actually questing through the Dawnguard.. stendars aura, you get it from Floventuis (spelling), i dont think this mod fixes it, so why bother...
CasuallyChallenged 9 nov 2013, ore 10:06
Can you possibly add a Dragonborn addon as well? Would love to use the Bound Dagger and other spells added with invested magic
DahndI 29 ago 2013, ore 20:48
Has this fixed the missing rapid regeneration on the Necromancy Perk?
WhiteLightning 24 ago 2013, ore 21:48
Great mod patch, thanks for making it. I was wondering if you would add Stendaar's Aura to the list, as it's in the same vein as the cloak spells?
Othobrithol 3 ago 2013, ore 19:20
Seems the investment cost of the Wrathman is glitched (atleast on my game). It displays the cost in grey on the tooltip (instead of white like all other variables) and does not actually lock up any magicka when active.
FeniAraneae  [autore] 12 lug 2013, ore 18:58
yes indeed, but I got it legitimately, also... weird glitch in the servers I just noticed, where it made me send that last message on june 20th multiple times. now fixing it.
[HoV] Cookie Monster 12 lug 2013, ore 16:33
there are other ways to get the dlc for free though...
FeniAraneae  [autore] 20 giu 2013, ore 10:55
check in after the summer sales, hopefully dragonborn goes on sale durring it.
[HoV] Cookie Monster 19 giu 2013, ore 10:46
Are you also going to make an invested magic mod for dragonborn, i really want the conjure ash guardian, ash shell and bound dagger use the invested magic system :p
Sweet-Meme Rakeem 16 mag 2013, ore 16:35
Thanks for the fantastic DLC patch. Do you think you could add Stendarr's Aura to the investable spell list, though? It's technically a cloak, and I'd love to keep it on me without taking up one of my hands.
RexJayden 13 mag 2013, ore 6:47
Looking forward to that!
FeniAraneae  [autore] 12 mag 2013, ore 22:42
I cannot currently afford Dragonborn, once I am able to get it, (probably when it goes on sale next) I will make a dragonborn version.
Sugar 12 mag 2013, ore 22:11
Can you possibly do a dragonborn version as well for the 3 summons, bound dagger and Whirlwind Cloak?
RexJayden 24 apr 2013, ore 20:44
Thanks so much for making these mods!
ZombieGuru879 24 apr 2013, ore 15:16
i figured it out. A friend of mine helped. I moved the mod to the end of my order list and know it works. I don't know why. Thanks for the help.
ZombieGuru879 24 apr 2013, ore 6:51
I have done all that. I don't have any other spell mods except for a few that add spells, but it wasn't working before I downloaded the the other spell mods.
FeniAraneae  [autore] 24 apr 2013, ore 1:43
okay, other things to check:
whenever you subscribe to a new mod, start up the Launcher, and wait until it says "all mods up to date" or "all mods checked" (I cant remember the exact phrase right now), to make sure they are all installed correctly
click the data button on the launcher, and make sure the mods are activated, activated ones will have a check mark in the box next to them.
if neither of these fix your problem, I would check if you have any other mods that change how spells work (in particular "Overhaul" mods are likely to do so)
ZombieGuru879 23 apr 2013, ore 22:52
Yes I did.
FeniAraneae  [autore] 23 apr 2013, ore 21:24
did you also install the base mod by NineInchNall?
ZombieGuru879 23 apr 2013, ore 20:18
I'm not getting the extended time for any of the dawnguard spells. What am I doing wrong?
ElderGamer1 22 apr 2013, ore 15:12
A Big Big Thank-you! I was dreding to have a conflict..Those Vampire Overhauls are really heavily scripted if that's how you say it and you Mod is my magic system so again Thanks for your Quick reply!
FeniAraneae  [autore] 22 apr 2013, ore 15:09
This mod does nothing to any Vampire skills, it only changes the three Summon spells from the Soul Cairn.
ElderGamer1 22 apr 2013, ore 15:07
I am beginning a new Game and using an amazing Vampire Mod Vampric Thrist" but it will not permit any mod that toughes the Vampire scripting so I was hoping your Dawnguard Version does not...
Hephestas 18 apr 2013, ore 7:34
Yes... Please make the dragonborn version lol
FeniAraneae  [autore] 30 mar 2013, ore 21:45
I honestly learned from the main mod's creator, he has the script up for anyone to use, I would talk to him if you want to make a Dragonborn version yourself.
PhoenixHeart 30 mar 2013, ore 20:30
From what I can tell, after opening up the Invested Magic mod in Creation kit (I've done a bit of modding myself), there are two parts to it - the main part changes all the summons to have the week long timer, and the perks are edited so that they include the other trees to boost damage (by 1% or so per level, per tree), then what I read on the main invested magic mod page is that a script is used to handle the actual investing of the mana, then refund it when it's done.

The first part is easy, but I do not know how to do the script part, as I've never mesed with scripts in creation kit. How did you learn? If I could figure out how to do it, I can make the dragonborn version myself and send it to the main mod's author to check over and publish, or link to like he did yours.
FeniAraneae  [autore] 30 mar 2013, ore 20:10
I cannot afford Dragonborn right now, as soon as I am able to, there will be a seperate mod made for that one. Money is tight right now, and I dont see myself getting it any time soon however.
PhoenixHeart 30 mar 2013, ore 17:13
Will you be making a Dragonborn version for the latest DLC? I'd like to be able to have Ash Spawn following me around :P
FeniAraneae  [autore] 29 mar 2013, ore 10:25
This is actually my first mod, so no, I have not made a vampires mod under a different name, but I think I remember the one you are talking about, I enjoyed that one as well.
