Another nice one, Andi. The grating glitch ain't no biggie. As far as I can tell, you'd essentially solve the puzzle the same way.

Thanks. This map hurt my bum. Please give mine a go. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1266830997

oh i finished the map anyway. couldnt find the cc cube too bad
Andi  [Autor] 15. Juni 2016 um 18:02
Ah, sorry, there is a hidden companion cube in this map, as well as many other chambers. You can't use the companion cube though.
jandlml 15. Juni 2016 um 17:37
got it,i had gotten it with the glitch but wanted the intended solution. nice map just enough time
jandlml 15. Juni 2016 um 17:27
you talk about the hidden companion cube? i guess i just have to be quicker
Andi  [Autor] 14. Juni 2016 um 22:10
No, just the one. It's been awhile since I played this chamber but if you like, I can post a solution video.
jandlml 14. Juni 2016 um 18:01
is there supposed to be another cube? i tried doing what you said in your comment and it doesnt work. can you finish this map without the second cube?
Andi  [Autor] 25. März 2015 um 9:02
I know what you're taking about. The grating glitch has caused me problems in the past. I try to avoid it when possible. I'm glad you liked the test, thanks for playing,
Chelliste 25. März 2015 um 8:47
The grating glitch is there, for those inclined to exploit it, but is not required to solve. I had more fun figuring out Andi's intended method. Another game glitch or exploit, however, IS required unless I did it wrong: The ability to move a cube on the other side of a fizzler without touching the fizzler yourself.
Andi  [Autor] 18. Jan. 2015 um 13:45
I have not played this chamber for awhile. I didn't know about the grating glitch at that time, I would have to go back and look over this chamber again. Thanks for testing.

I just played this map. At first I got out by using the cube-through-the-grating glitch. Was not happy about this. Then I watched Toncica's walkthrough and saw that a change had been made because when he played it, there was no grate. So, I went back. Could not shoot portals fast enough, so I did get the sphere to the button to remove the fizzler between the two rooms (as maybe Requiemsoul did). With that top panel of fizzler gone, standing behind the laser barrier, you can see a bit of panel and shoot a portal to get the sphere through. Once, I used the sphere to keep the entrance to the exit room open, I had time to shoot the last portals and get out.
Andi  [Autor] 26. Jan. 2014 um 8:30
I know that you mean... I can fix that. Thanks for the heads up and I'm happy to hear that I liked it,
Requiemsoul 25. Jan. 2014 um 11:15
Nope, Look this capture.... This red Button.

Andi  [Autor] 25. Jan. 2014 um 10:00
Do you mean you used the sphere to escape? No that is not uninended. Using the sphere would it harder because the sphere rolls. The cube is easier to control.
Requiemsoul 25. Jan. 2014 um 4:23
Awesome puzzle...as usual. I´m sure that my solution is unintentioned xD. Is used the sphere in the first red button?.

Thank you.

Yeah I cut it close didn't I? I may add another second.

not enough time to finish it, yet a really good one!!

I'm GLaD that you enjoyed it.

This was a real gem. I had so much fun. I did take a lot of time to figure out some parts like the ending. I had the cube on the button but I was on the wrong side of the fizzler. Duh. I came close to finding the companion cube. After I read your comments I saw what I did wrong. I saw no glitches or exploits. Solid puzzle and well designed map. See ya round the workshop.
Mamma told me NOT to come

SilentOptimist 18. Dez. 2013 um 18:37
Nice! Good puzzle with modded bits added to it and put to good use. At first, I didn't get that the sphere could go over the fizzler and spent 5 min trying to figure out something else before giving up and flinging it to see particle effects... I felt like I could have tried that earlier.
Andi  [Autor] 4. Sep. 2013 um 10:23
Thanks.
agpilot 4. Sep. 2013 um 10:07
I think thats so cool, I have no idea what I was trying to do when I found it the first time.
Andi  [Autor] 3. Sep. 2013 um 22:48
Sorry for the delay, in order to find the companion cube from the entrance go to the left and then take the door to the right. Then, place a blue portal under the sphere dropper then put the orange portal what looks like a hallway at the rear of the room. There is an excursion funnel behind the wall and the sphere will activate a door that will reveal the companion cube.
agpilot 25. Aug. 2013 um 21:45
Can you tell me how I found it? because I have no idea how I did lol
Andi  [Autor] 25. Aug. 2013 um 20:42
Congratulations for finding the companion cube. I think maybe two or three players found it.
agpilot 21. Aug. 2013 um 8:31
Cool, I some how found the companion cube on one run but never again. I have no idea what I did to find it.

GLaD to hear you enjoyed it. I'll be happy to try your chamber.
Aardvark00 17. Feb. 2013 um 5:11
Very neatly designed map with plenty of distractions to throw me off the scent! I enjoyed that a lot. I haven't watched the video but my ending worked first time so it's probably the right one. Never gave a thought to the companion cube so I'll go back in and look.
I've just published my second chamber and would appreciate it if you gave it a try.

It took me some time to visualize the ending,LOTS OF TIME.Did not sovle It exactly the same way as toncica but simular. That was fun,and a good ghallenge. Thanks Andi.
Andi  [Autor] 8. Feb. 2013 um 13:48
GLaD you enjoyed it.
th3gargoyl3 8. Feb. 2013 um 13:23
and solved! thats a rock solid test that! requires LOTS of thinking! but very good
th3gargoyl3 8. Feb. 2013 um 12:52
not seen his solution. will have another stab at it
Andi  [Autor] 8. Feb. 2013 um 10:27
@tonica You solved it exactly the way I had designed it. NIce. The area above the entrance has nothing to do with the puzzle or the companion cube. The companion cube is very well hidden and you need to think about it if you want to find it.

@th3gargoyl3 I assure you this chamber is quite solvable. I never publish anything I can't do myself and I'm no portal ninja. But your complaint has been heard and the button now has an extra second added to it.
th3gargoyl3 7. Feb. 2013 um 14:53
Unsolvable. Not enough time between pressing the pedestal and getting the cube up high enough to get it across to the exit button. Cannot be done.
toncica 7. Feb. 2013 um 14:46
Looked pretty solid on my first run. Only the area above the entrance and the portal surfaces to reach that area were a bit irritating. probably companion cube(?), but I only had eyes for the puzzle
