amdlo112? LOL ...simple to understand it helps to make you a more better person or player in the game to not destroy the creatures at the eder cave, without taking the life of the older gidergreen?in the cave or scentless death over doing this quest to a more nice one, with a good out come from not killing any thing ? to peaceFull ending :) Sorry not trying to be smarty pants here either, just like to help that fella out on his question:)

I don't understand how this mod alters the game. In the vanilla when you choose the sapling option, the new tree will grow inside the old one to the full size. But the only problem is that the old one doesn't disappear so they overlap. But this mod doesn't fix this glitch so what's the difference? The tree grows in the vanilla game too so what does this mod changes?

I started my game over and the tree did not grow a new one it just put the leafs into the old tree.

Sowait, if I did the quest right then I don't need this? I actually haven't taken notice of the Gildergreen coming back to life. If it's alive again by vanilla actions then does this make it bear Healing Fruit of Kynareth?

Deleting objects from the game can lead to CTDs since the game isn't expecting things like that to happen. In general, using the console is bad for just about anything aside from getting yourself unstuck from a hole or something with the TCL command. It's not meant to be used for gameplay purposes. It's there as a development tool. Primarily for the company, but also for mod authors.

And that's universally bad advice when a proper solution exists in the USKP.

NEVER tell people to use the console to do anything like that.

If anyone is wondering I used console command ''markfordelete'' to delete the big tree where the sap was growing and it worked fine.

If you mean the old, dead tree, you need to install the USKP since it not getting removed is a bug in the game.

I Installed This of Nexus Mods, But the dead default tree is still there and the sapling has grown to match the tree causing this clipping going on with both trees. ???

I had to use the console to delete the original tree (sapling inside bug) Other than that its working perfectly as far as I can tell...love coming bk to see how big its got now and then:)

Arthmoor, The quest is completed in my game. The "stunted tree" grew from within the dead Eldergleam and so eventually I set the dead tree as "markfordelete" through the console and now there is just the "stunted" tree. Thanks

If you mean the dead tree is still there, you need the USKP to fix that bug. This mod will work fine regardless of when it's installed.

Will this work if the quest is already completed? or maybe after you have already turned in the quest but the sapling has not sprouted yet? or does it need to be installed before the quest is finished. I installed it after the sapling sprouted and the tree is still there. im really surprised Bethesda didnt fix this after the last time i played it...

USKP? What do you mean by that? Can you please update your mod description with details for those of us who have this happening? A dumbed down version of what you mean would probably be good. Same problem, the new tree starts growing, but the old and dead one doesn't get removed. I can see the tree starting to sprout through the old trunk but it just won't disapear.

I had done the quest, but I could not get the mod to work right, I do like the idea fo rthe mod, maybe, I am missing something, what would happen is the younger tree would grow, but the old dead tree was not being removed. Any thoughts, or help would be welcomed, I may try this mod again later, if the problem I have with it is work out some how, thank you, ttyl

It's an LOD issue. It will be corrected once Patch 1.9 has gone live and the update is uploaded.
