@Alex Krychek, a mighty pirate Because FF is a healthy combination of the two. It has physics like quake fortress, while the gameplay mechanics are more similar to tfc.(HH concing, reloads, etc.) As well, FF has various mechanics and balances that set it appart from the two. Grenades are less spammy, weapons are balanced differently, and there's plenty of new stuff not in either of it's predecessors.

Will this damn game get greenlit already? It's free, it's incredible, it should be a lot more popular than it currently is. Yes you can download it manually, but why not have the convenience of getting easy updates and downloads on Steam for it?

Since TF2 had hats and custom gears, i stopped playing it. The game was fun and now it's just annoying. Thumbed up FF

Looking back through here, I think more than enough comments involve "is there hats?" and "This is a rip off of TF2!". Those are the people who have been subject to the new bad generation of gaming, where skill is lesser determined due to money scandels and p2w schemes. And of course, are fans of what the valve has done to massacre a great mod.

Thanks Kaibutsu! I mean this game seems really good and I to am a TF2 player as well. I really don't unerstand why people keep on comparing the two. They are both amazing interpretations of an awesome original game. And besides, they are both free so why does it really matter?

Then again, when the community is apparantly so awful (seriously, looking through some comments her is like bathing in shit)... I mean, I expect every community to be bad, but there are limits. I'm not keen on getting ridiculed because I don't hate and *gasp* actually like TF2.

But then, if scams have a place on Steam, then there is no reason why mods with horrible fans shouldn't be here. I think I know now why FF is not much played, though.

I just started playing TF2 and like it quite much. Naturally, I'm curious about it's earlier incanations and this mod, which seems to be quite close to TFC. I'm not keen on juggling too many MP FPS at once, but if it gets up on Steam, I'll surely take a look at it.

It would probably (and hopefully) also get a bit more publicity which, judging from some of the comments here, it really needs.
