That final bit was fantastic- one of the best chambers I've ever played.
sefh 14. Okt. 2023 um 13:52
That was a brutal level.
Klaatu 5. Sep. 2023 um 18:19
Played this 10 years after you made it. Great map!

my brain was broken like that room at finalle, but damn i made it. it takes me so much time. Good puzzle. It takes from you to think widely

This was so hard but so good
Spad 1. Apr. 2023 um 23:27
Great map! That ending is a real head scratcher, loved it!!
dboxall123 2. März 2023 um 18:31
That was great, but what was the purpose of the light bridge in the third room? I spent ages with the cube in that center bit, trying to work out what I meant to be doing, and then in the end I didn’t even use it lol. Was it just there to throw people off?
Muzozavr 26. Nov. 2022 um 4:52
The more I look around YT playthroughs (including Selyp's one you linked), the more I realize my solution for the finale IS the intended way, and there probably can't be any other. A great finish.
Muzozavr 26. Nov. 2022 um 4:00
Just when I thought I was done... I wasn't done, LMAO. Not sure if my solution to the third puzzle and finale was the intended one -- I never used the light bridge in the third puzzle, and the way I did the finish was uncharacteristically wacky... but very pleasantly wacky. Hats off if THIS was intended!

I do maintain my disagreement with the "prop a cube off a button via a light bridge" trick, but here it was fairly obvious that it's the only way forward, so since I knew it was a thing you can do, it didn't bother me too much.

The other issue is that you can softlock yourself if you try to reuse the light bridge from puzzle 2 in puzzle 3 and then remove it , if you've also left the laser grate on, I don't think you can get out in any way after this.

Those two are my only criticisms, and they're minor ones, best map in the series so far, here's hoping 5 and 6 don't let me down. Excellent work!

Replayed this one after six years, still awesome. Couldn't remember ANYTHING, but my thumbs up didn't lie ^^ great outside the box ending. Maybe a little misleading with the other beam. I pulled my hair out because I wanted to know if a cube swap in and out of the third room was possible. I even was close to stumbling into a softlock situation when I reused the light bridge from room #2 in room #3... but that's a minor criticism.

HOLY S*it!!!
THiS was so awesome and clever!

Fun map
volodi-mir 4. Dez. 2021 um 18:14
cool map, really tough ;) I did it finally without help!
Happy to solve it
Tilt 4. Apr. 2021 um 20:15
That last part took me over 1 hour. When I finally figure it out I wasn't sure I had the intended solution.. then I saw the playthrough and it was the intended solution, crazy as it seems. Never seen a map that forced the player to go through all that in the end (no spoilers). Really well thought out.
dtnk 21. Dez. 2020 um 11:53
Okay, so usually I only like (as in, thumbs up) tests that I don't have any complaints about, but besides my usual nitpicks, this test just melted my brain with its solution. Per usual, this test was very well decorated. And the tense parts (ie. the glitchy elevator crash) were tense.

Thank you for making it!
Echo 2. Dez. 2020 um 9:20
Amazing. The solution to that third cube was just elegant.
Apollo Geef 14. Nov. 2020 um 21:34
I racked my brain and realized I was looking at the solution all along
mabelpines 9. Okt. 2020 um 7:14
clever

@Sloi Thanks! Glad you enjoyed.
Sloi 25. Aug. 2020 um 14:43
This may be one of the best parts of 2020.

Great map, medium difficulty (20-25 min solve) but definitely in the same class as mevious/gig/azorae/etc.
FoggyNoon 13. Jan. 2020 um 16:33
Woah that was hard, but also brilliant! Thanks for the experience
Andy T 7. Jan. 2020 um 2:12
Ease up a bit, this one is very hard indeed.
Comedy Time 3. Nov. 2019 um 15:15
This has to be one of the best chambers i've ever played! thank you for making my week!
Calwin 5. Okt. 2019 um 8:51
Brilliant puzzles! This one was much harder than the prior ones. But I figured it out fairly quickly. Was a bit unsure how to do the final part, but it slowly unfolded. Great satisfaction. This map and map 0 are the best ones. Haven't played any of the later ones though.
ALiC3m 22. Sep. 2019 um 15:01
I loved solving this puzzle, THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
I put it directly in my favorites
Flo 15. Juli 2019 um 9:22
Probably the best map I've ever played. Took me forever but finally figured out the last step ;) Brilliant design!

very cool map, brain felt good afterwards.

That final puzzle to get the excursion funnel. Damn good puzzle.
BaRa.95. 2. Juni 2019 um 5:15
Nice test I almost finished it, just didn't get that cube change part at the end without youtube tutorial.
jandlml 17. Dez. 2018 um 20:08
very excellent!! love the ending!
vallibus 3. Nov. 2018 um 11:25
Yowza! This was quite the challenge. Accordining to the comments left by others, I didn't solve it the intended way. But like pilots say, any landing you walk away from is a good landing. The intended solution is more elegant than mine, but I'm still quite satisfied I reached the exit.
c4shurik 5. Okt. 2018 um 6:53
Clever! Didn't expect so much action =)
IridiumWave 22. Aug. 2018 um 14:20
Oh. My. Gosh. 2 HOURS!!! I finally managed to solve the final step by looking in the second room... Took me 30 minutes to figure that out even with help from the comments. Thanks for making this map.
SethMT 27. Mai 2018 um 8:03
That is an evil (yet very clever) trick... Kudos.
disappa 22. Mai 2018 um 21:48

Affter a week I finally figured it out. LoneWolf2056 is an evil genius.
KharleRoi 6. Apr. 2018 um 21:03
Still cant figure it out, and I'm at the last step.
KharleRoi 2. Apr. 2018 um 19:26
This is an evil chamber. I have trapped myself in the last area twice now.
hfmanson 23. Jan. 2018 um 3:35
What a fantastic puzzle!

HugoBDesigner 27. Nov. 2016 um 19:08
I remember playing this one long ago. Nice and difficult, I like it! Thanks!
DJ THRUST 11. Nov. 2016 um 22:57
Oh my dear God that was so hard. Bravo indeed
[ssc] Fishy 19. Okt. 2016 um 18:21
This is a Portal masterpiece. Bravo.

I've been going through the Dilapidation series. Haven't played Part 5 yet, that's next. Part 4 has the perfect level of difficulty for me. I was stumped a couple of times, yet resisted to look for a walkthrough. The earlier ones weren't as hard in my opinion.

Thanks for making these, especially this one. The puzzle was incredible, but also the artistry and surprises. Definately a favorite.
