good map but the jumping part at the end is very frustrating. I hate having to jump holding a cube... it throws off my timing.

I don't know if this is a glitch or not, but it's possible to stick a portal on the second level of the "shrine" and one on the wall next to it and skip the entire faith plate part of the puzzle. Other then that this is a beautiful puzzle series.

well it's a bit of both, I like combinations. You use the logic to get the ball and the gel where it needs to be and trhen "funny times" lol

Really nice, once again. These chambers are really beautiful to look at - quite a work of art.

Took me a while to figure this one out but made perfect sense once I got it.

Excellent couple of chambers, love the custom audio in the whole series as well.

Agree with the leaking textures in the office and the fact that jumping the platforms while holding the sphere was somewhat annoying and fifficult to pull off. Took a few tries.

thanks, the leak in the second chamber is no doubt my sloppy brushwork connecting to the observation labs, I'll have to take a look at this when I polish the maps

I didn't find this chamber frustrating at all. Another 10/10 from me ... onto Part IV. This series of chambers is excellent so far, I have to say great work CosmicD grrrreat work. mucho respecto

Wonderful puzzle and great design work, but I can't help but point out the big leak in the office of the second chamber. Other then that graphical glitch, everything looks really awesome.

Kept losing the ball on the platforms--I think they were placed a little too close together? Otherwise, pretty good. The "See ya!" at the end was a cool surprise.

Listen to this! I dropped into the portal placed under the blue slime in order to fall out of the portal placed above the entry door and I did this with the ball... when I fell the ball disappeared from my hands(presumably got stuck on the entry door ledge) AND VANISHED FROM THE ENTIRE MAP..cool trick

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love your level design and puzzle design, and the whole series is great. It's just the way this one chamber turned into a jumping puzzle at the end rather ruined it for me. Jumping puzzle when you can't see your feet are just an exercise in frustration.

I managed it by pre-placing the portals on the floor and dropping the ball in first, then climbing the stairs unencumbered. So long as I grabbed the ball before it hit me in the face, I could then throw it up to the final shelf, before following it the next time around - if I tried to get to the end with ball in hand, I'd always get it hooked on the edge and drop it. Even then it still took me forever. At one point, the water droplets somehow got onto the stairs, and I had to go back and reapply the gel again.

I will try to make this process easier by lowering the ledge, making the arrival more visible when i'm polishing all the maps

To jump on the bouncy platforms, try to jump sideways so you won't lose the ball. You can also stop jumping by crouching on the next level, you can even push F6 to quicksave. The last big jump is the most frustsrating because I guess that everyone tries just step forward like I did a few times but I realized that the last platform is bouncy, too. I you jump up before falling down to the portal, you gain more momentum and you'll have enough time to force yourself on the ledge. I hope it helped some of you.

Maybe it's only me, but I absolutely HATE when you need movement skills to finish a map. If I want to play that kind of game, I just fire up Quake3 defrag or Xonotic Race / CTS. Maybe I'm just doing something wrong with the platform jumping/bouncing part, but I couldn't finish that. The previous ones were all very good, because they needed mostly logical thinking, but when I ended up the 20th time dropping that ball (hah) on the last platform, I just skipped to the 4th part.
Thumbs up for the effort though.

Quick question: is the darkened chamber after the elevator where the text "end of playtest" is displayed and brief glimpses of the the walls are shown the end of the test? If not, I have absolutely no idea how to proceed from there. Clues, anybody?
