id like this game better if it was a first person shooter because you yourself would have a musket and bayonet the enemy and stuff you cant do in call of duty or napolean total war

it allready does differs from NTW because if read all these implementations concerning 18th/19th Century, usage of engineers, choice of battlefield (details), while not in battle scout the ennemy with a chance to stay undetected, and so on ............ surely one to keep an eye out for........

Honor in Blood would be different than Napoleon total war becouse:

1. It would allow players to be immersed in the life of a 19th century General by interacting with NPCs in first person.

2. While Showing detailed, realistic battles of 19th century battlefields over an RTS format.

3. Have players make real, difficult decisions which leaders of the era faced.

4.Keeping players immersed in the world through a real time options menu.

5.The player will feel like a humble, but vital part in a huge conflict.

There are other ways too, but Steam limits how many characters I can put in one comment.

I'm liking the idea, but what truely makes this different to Napoleon: Total War?
There are some features i like, and i would like to see this get done, but still...
now if someone can point out what makes this different, i'm willing to fully back this, and being a youtuber hopefully by mentioning this a bit in videos i could help...

@AgZarp There will still be line of sight based gameplay but because of the fog of war your scouts will still be a valuble assest. So lets say you went over to this town to scout out an area and you found some line units you will be able to see what those units are doing as long as there in your line of sight. But if you have to pull back the scout to look at another area you will get a icon of there last known postion.

This is perhaps the blueprint for the best strategy game ever. THE strategy game of all time. If you pull this off It's going to both revolutionise the strategy genre and probably consume a large portion of my life (but I'm okay with that!). I've always thought that an Army General Simulator style approach to combat would be the best.

Are the battles real-time or are they sort of updated every time your scout comes back with new reports? The time delay could really make battles tense and add another level to predicting what will happen next. Sort of like a massive game of chess.

I really hope you manage to get this up and running. Reminds me quite a bit of Total War but i prefer this concept because it means that you are much more involved in the war rather than pushing your troops around the map. I'll be keeping a close eye on this for sure ;)

Сейчас посмотрел скриншоты. Надеюсь, они были из этой игры. Провинции(территории) нужно сделать больше. А то получается, что 1 страна = 1 провинции. Делайте страны хотя бы из 10 провинций. Возможно, я неправильно понял механику игры, но выглядит странно.

The whole idea for Blood and Honor would be the immersion, the expereince. I want people to feel and possibly believe that they are these important leaders of their chosen nations, making decisons that effect the lives of the men under their command and the civilians that they protect.
