Looks good. I was waiting for a good turn-based RPG that wasn't Swords-N-Boards OR X-Com. This seems like it will fill the bill nicely.

The concept is nice I guess, but the gamemodes look like Grimrock and XCom, both of which I played a lot and have no urge to play again right now.
I'll wait for something unique to come out of this one, but if not, I'll skip.

Concept looks really interesting but I have a question, is this First Person View like the videos, or Iso cam like the photos? Kind of getting the impression movement is FPV and combat will be Iso but wanted to make sure.

You are right about the armor being a prototype (or concept) - but the similiarity with Halo is purely coincidental and we will be aware of that when working on the final version. Couple three things. I know it's concept art, but the armor is way too reminiscent of Halo. Don't want to get labelled as derivative. The environment gives you some great options. What about the dangers of decompression or a deck getting evacuated to space to build tension? Would love to set up an ambush and blow an enemy out an airlock. Who doesn't want to do that? I know, early days, but once the core game is up this could be refined into something beautiful. Would also love some advertising saying "not revolutionary, but just really fun." "revolutionary" always indicates "overhyped." Very nice work so far.

We would like to apologize for the lack of new information about the project, but we are almost in final pre-kickstarter phase and the campaign will be alive in few weeks!

SomeoneWhoDoesSoemthing: Thanks for your comment. I agree with everything written in your comment. We have completely changed the TB combat into something more exciting and this will move Space Shock closer to Space Hulk, Wizardry and XCom and turn it into something bigger and more exciting than a copy of Grimrock in Space.

The choice between Real time or Turn based is quite a perplexing one indeed. To me, it depends on whether or not you are doing only the selected character's actions in real time. As I am not well versed in these gametypes, I am unsure as to how that works. Perhaps combat stops when your movement does, effectively acting as almost a V.A.T.S type targeting system or pulling up the power wheel in Mass Effect. Also, combining it with an action point type system where combat actually has to be moving or end for regeneration of said action points. Resulting in down times to formulate a plan and figure out optimal advantageous placement. All in all, it may be stupid, overambious, or perfect. My only hope is that I could be of assistance and you keep up the good work for this title.

Looks fantastic! I love the sci-fi setting as opposed to the traditional fantasy (which I still love too obviously). The environments are stunning. Keep up the good work! I'll buy it "when it's done." :)

The first trailer (first from left) is from beginning gloomy and atmospheric. Almost made me shivers, which is good. But after first time starts against those bots it becomes very boring. Maybe 30seconds facing them could be enough. For the rest of the trailer I felt embarrassing. Reason = amateurish feeling. Not flaming. Just giving my honest opinion. It is maybe caused by low amount of monsters awailable in trailer (just one), so in this phase of develompment I would recomend shorten the trailer alot. Just give the juici meat sniff to a lion, don't feed him in a row! Anyways thumbs up. I loved System Shock 2 and old dungeon crawlers. This looks like very good combo and has potential.
