Banishment Arrows - for added damage to summoned creatures
Force arrows - arrows with a knockback feature, and low damage
If you're thinking about using Archer's Arsenal, the tradeoff is loot vs. variety. In AA, all of the arrow types can be forged, bought (expensively), or found on enemies/in containers. This mod has all of the AA arrows and few more interesting ones, but I've yet to find any way to integrate the items into the world. It may work with PirateLord's Loot Adjustments, but no guarantee.
Neither mod is particularly balanced overall, but I feel like this mod's more powerful arrows are too strong. The Soul Trap arrow deals 105 base damage, killing enemies well above lvl 6, but requires a black soul gem to make in groups of 7. Proximity Explosives do 100 fire damage, which is clearly too much considering you don't need to be accurate with them. Finally, Explosive Arrows deal 70 fire damage, but only require a single dwarven oil to make in groups of 20; with mods like Freshly Ground or More Ingredients these become less rewarding to fletch.
For anyone interested in this mod: avoid smithing mods that add new crafting recipes and invest in a mod that adds more ingredients and soul gems to the world (open or in shops).
Mods like Extended Smithing will overwrite the files of this mod by restructuring the "crafting book" interface of the forge, meaning there will be at least some conflict regardless of load order.
Also, because some recipes require hard to find crafting items (grand soul gems, salts, ectoplasm, even spell tomes), you may get more out of this mod by using it in combination with Kempeth's Forge Soul Gems (spend magicka for gems), More Ingredients (shops only), Foxfollow's Write Tome (dragon soul --> tome of equipped spell), and Freshly Ground (can make salts, dwarven oil, etc.).
These fire arrows will do, it's something I'm missing when shooting arrows...
Sounds like a perfect mode for sure, but I have the same problem as others. I can't buy him arrow, his inventory is emtpy even after "resetinventory" him. Also I think it would be a nice idea to make other merchant selling it !
@dawser44 -If it's in the game there's a code for it, just type "help "<insert arrow name>" 4" or just "help arrow 4" though the second option will get you all objects in the game containing the word arrow.
(qoutes only needed for using the help command with item names including spaces <> is not used for the command at all though.)
@Shadowcrush nad Kittiah, I'll do my best.
