The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

You Sha'n't Be Beheaded!

Honestly I don't need this mod but I like that people are making such small mods that make such a big impact on the game. I understand why this was made, cause it also pisses me off when this guy does a awesome move and taking my head off. Why the hell are they aloud to do that!!!! But I don't like to get rid of it cause it keeps Skyrim more realistic and a little bit more fair.

THIS IS THE MOD I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR FOR SO LONG!!!! Thank you so much! This is awesome!
JKalenad  [author] Jan 23, 2014 @ 2:56pm
Yes, it does. I scoured all NPCs for the perks and removed them.

Does this mod also remove the perk from reocurring npcs like vampires, bandits, ect?

Yay! :D
JKalenad  [author] Oct 27, 2013 @ 9:41am
In fact, I take Bithface as a sort of compliment, because Biths are highly intelligent, highly civilized beings.
JKalenad  [author] Oct 27, 2013 @ 9:40am
Ladies and gentlemen, this faceless troll has given us a gift. For the one word he misspelled turned his bathroom-wall "insult" into a joke.
I give you the Bith:
Dr. 360 No_Scope Mast3r Oct 18, 2013 @ 8:52pm
Ok, thanks. :)

This version just prevents you, the player, from being decapitated by vanilla NPCs.
The other version linked in the description removes decapitation altogether except from those two execution scenes in the vanilla game.
Dr. 360 No_Scope Mast3r Oct 18, 2013 @ 4:03pm
Does this make it that you can't decapitate people? I have trouble with it happening to me, but I think it's funny when I behead a bandit! XD

Finally, the mod I've been looking for! Thank you good sir. Now I can play Skyrim without dying a gory death! :D
Mercy Aug 7, 2013 @ 10:58pm
ok i will fix that sry for wasting ur time
JKalenad  [author] Aug 7, 2013 @ 10:58pm
I think it is. This mod should be loaded after the one that makes everything harder. It wouldn't work otherwise.
Mercy Aug 7, 2013 @ 10:56pm
ok but just to be aware of i found out i have a mod that makes everything harder so it might be that
JKalenad  [author] Aug 7, 2013 @ 10:41pm
Well...I'll try to. I haven't been able to find anything in Creation Kit. On my end no NPC has the perks...I'll keep looking into it, though.
JKalenad  [author] Aug 7, 2013 @ 10:29pm
Cragslane Cavern. I'll update the mod to keep him from doing that.
Mercy Aug 7, 2013 @ 10:10pm

i forgote the name of the place but there is a guard in the cave where they have dog fights and he cut my head off
Pug Of Wallstreet Jun 25, 2013 @ 4:07pm
where do you get the mod
JKalenad  [author] May 12, 2013 @ 4:36pm
There's a mod called Deadly Mutilation that allows you to cut off arms and such.
Tyrone May 12, 2013 @ 4:34pm
I never get my head chooped off, so I wont have to do this. But can somone please make a mod that lets you cut off other limbs? Like arms and legs? That would be sweet.
flyons_gary Apr 16, 2013 @ 7:18pm
or if you try to save someone about to beheaded and or a dog or chicken......(seriously this happened to me i was very confused then fell on the floor laughing, the ax killed all of the people, secret op ax you see.)
Nightblade1337 Mar 17, 2013 @ 9:12am
(Let alone be beheaded in the first place)
Nightblade1337 Mar 17, 2013 @ 9:12am
Dude, This mod is kind of bad considering that you can't find out that you CAN be beheaded by NPC's unless you REALLY suck at fighting... or you joined the Dark Brotherhood...
zjackson153 Jan 11, 2013 @ 4:29pm
It woulnd't be so frustrating if it didn't happen regardless of the fact that you are only down by half your HP!
JKalenad  [author] Dec 26, 2012 @ 4:40pm
I built the mod to do as Dragonyup911 said; to keep the player from being beheaded.
However, the Savage Strike and Devastating Blow perks are essentially optional if you want to play without knocking off heads.
Dragonyup911 Dec 26, 2012 @ 1:40pm
@danjen333 im preet sure it only stops npc from killing you that way. you can still behead people. i may be wrong but from the text thats the idea i got.
danjen333 Dec 24, 2012 @ 7:13pm
OMG Thank you soo much I was so sick of hacking peoples heads off I have to look away every kill move and my son is only 9 so I could never play the game arround him he is autistic and can be sensitive to violence so Thank you so very much.
Dim Sparkle Dec 24, 2012 @ 1:18pm
Thank you im a little less scared now =), and yeh ive notaced the particularly high blows from time to time. Guess it keeps things interesting =P
JKalenad  [author] Dec 24, 2012 @ 9:56am
I think it does only occur with killing blows, but there seems to be a quite a lot of range for what is considered a killing blow. I don't think you can get one-hitted unless the NPC is particularly strong or something. (Still, I'm not entirely sure)
Dim Sparkle Dec 24, 2012 @ 4:38am
I thaught the animation only occured if the attack was a killing blow? Are you telling me i can get 1 hitted 0.o? oh noes im scared now... =(
Chesticles in progress :D Dec 21, 2012 @ 8:10am
Oh okay, great idea!
JKalenad  [author] Dec 20, 2012 @ 8:13pm
Aye. My hope is that by removing the perks from NPCs I also remove the player literally losing their head. I played for a long time before running into a single NPC with the beheading perks; only high level bandits and a couple Thieves Guild folks have them as far as I can tell. It seems to be a very rare occurrence.

I'm confused about this mod, so it removes being beheaded pretty much? Because I have never been beheaded by a npc (As long as I remember), but cool nonetheless
