I once got killed by the city guards because the Jarl decided to have a fisticuffs match with an attacking dragon. I shouted at the dragon and the Jarl decided I had violated the rules of an honorable fisticuffs match. Thus, the entire town turned on me.

Thank you. /Thank you./

Considering how stupid NPCs can be... great mod!
Grinning Hilton 23 lipca o 3:56

MRFlackAttack 18 lipca o 6:20
Thank you for keeping an eye on your older mods. It is deeply appreciated.
MLTDG 13 lipca o 13:35
A much-needed mod, but I think I found a bug caused by it in one of the later quests of the main storyline (in which you capture and then release a dragon). Once the dragon is freed, the NPCs in the area autonomously attack him and trigger an endless battle, pretty much making it impossible to continue the quest. Removing this mod solved the issue.
Dragonclaud 7 lipca o 7:31
why bethesda, why. why do u need an awesome modding community to fix such simple things
ARE THOSE WAFFLES?! 2 lipca o 12:52
Just imagine..
Guard 1: Guys! We can't beat him!
Guard 2: We should flee!
Dragonborn: No.. -Shout-
Dragon: Bleh.
Citizens: Yay! We're saved!
Resurrect....

Great stuff
Ace of Spades 29 maja o 3:01
The only thing that pisses me off more than feminism, is when I am just about to land the final blow on a dragon, and a fucking npc runs straight in front of me, midswing, and all the guards focus aggro on me. Like, I know programming isnt perfect, but there is a fucking dragon, focus on the dragon and not me, for two. fucking. minutes.
sirrogg 22 maja o 7:00
Nooooo you have to go out and kill the vampires if you don't thy will only grow.
xxTFGxx Azazel 30 kwietnia o 11:22
Can you do this for the annoying Dawnguard's vampires that attack the city?
LatinvianJoint 22 kwietnia o 20:55
Does this mean guards will run too?
Harmless Shεεp 18 kwietnia o 5:38
"Guards, members of The Companions, Vigilants of Stendaar, and the player's followers/teammates will not run, they will stand and fight. Farm animals will not run either, because they're stupid. That includes your horse."
A-Are you insulting my horse?!
Apologize to Shadowmere at once!
MemeStreams 10 kwietnia o 19:51
Thanks man.
suandin 27 marca o 12:16
It doesn't always seem to work properly. Sometimes all the NPCs run away even though there's no dragon around. At least they return back to normal after e.g. entering and exiting the local inn. The Khajiit merchants never flee to an inn as they should. :(

Butterlord 9 grudnia 2016 o 5:13
If only you could change it so Nazeem wouldn't run..

Imagine the possibilities.
The only possibility being a dead Nazeem.
Noearas 5 grudnia 2016 o 15:58
You are saving many NPCs lives. I thank you so much in their name.
lupus_hegemonia 30 listopada 2016 o 7:07
Jesus! I had to port this one; in a town (which I need to "help the people"), a damn dragon almost killed everybody!!!!
nelson_justine 18 listopada 2016 o 8:01
Thanks very much for this, now I can visit Riverwood and not lose half the population
Osprey 12 listopada 2016 o 4:10

Gearheart 7 listopada 2016 o 7:48
Ignore my previous comment. I just found that exact mod two pages back, by the same author.
Gearheart 7 listopada 2016 o 7:39
I'd love to see a Dawnguard version of this that adds the same behavior for vampire attacks. I lose more named NPCs to vampires than I ever did to dragons.
Divine Insect 31 października 2016 o 21:01
I would love to see this become availalbe for the Special Edition. This kind of villager behavior really should have been programmed into the vanilla game...
Il Lupo D'Argento 30 października 2016 o 12:31
*Please* make this available for Special Edition, if you can

"Animals are stupid" ... right, they let themselves get roasted and they don't even notice... Otherwise a good mod :-).
Keel the Swift 6 września 2016 o 19:40
@Ragnar. Download the Convenient Horse mod (not sure if in Steam workshop or not). One of the Configuration option is whether horses are foolhardy or cowardly. A cowardly horse will probably run from the dragon instead of trying to fight.
RAGNAR 5 września 2016 o 4:30
yes the animals are stupid but they able to feel fear .. and ı dont think a horse kicking a dragon is realistic....
RAGNAR 5 września 2016 o 4:29
Please add my horse frost .. ı am very tired to protect him when ı fighting with dragons
Filip 'Chibs' Telford 27 sierpnia 2016 o 18:17
Puto Alvor cada vez que un dragón ataca Cause Boscoso tiene que morir, gracias por el mod :p
Captain fabulous[P.W.D] 24 sierpnia 2016 o 11:11
is it only for dragon attacks?
Hoarmurath 18 sierpnia 2016 o 13:23
@Feanor
That moment when everything seems to go right.
Schlam 14 sierpnia 2016 o 14:52
I remember this one time in Falkreath, a dragon attacked and a guard shouted "everybody inside!" and everybody did go inside. Only happened once though.

GreyWolf 26 lipca 2016 o 9:14

alkateltel 18 lipca 2016 o 14:10
Do you have when werewolves attack?
Dovahkiin 13 lipca 2016 o 18:08
hey, maybe instead of just dragons how about basically anything within reason of running away from like vampires, werewolves, assassins, and even you when you kill/pickpocket somebody? hmmmmmm?
Timesplitter 13 lipca 2016 o 17:23

//// 13 lipca 2016 o 12:55
the guards in vanilla also ask you to conjure a bed. ;P but it's a good point. :)
Arthmoor  [autor] 13 lipca 2016 o 12:46
Perhaps, but the guards in vanilla will literally warn people to get inside when an attack starts.
//// 13 lipca 2016 o 8:12
in theory, dragons supposed to set wooden buildings on fire. probably that's why such behaviour wasn't part of the vanilla game. appearance of a dragon is a destruction or destruction situation for them anyway...
Starfoth The Burgundy Silk Rug 11 czerwca 2016 o 17:00
@arthmoor
Thank-You
Arthmoor  [autor] 11 czerwca 2016 o 16:57
If I'm not mistaken, "The Choice is Yours" has settings to help deal with the frequency of dragon attacks.
Starfoth The Burgundy Silk Rug 9 czerwca 2016 o 22:12
Is there a mod to remove or reduce the frequency of dragon attacks. I don't find them fun and would rather be questing or playing the rest of the game then getting into repetitive boss fights.
Lola 5 czerwca 2016 o 10:07
Also, wanted to clarify they do attack other mobs, just not dragons. In case that wasn't clear :)
