is this compatible with ALL dlc?
EngineerMedic 22 déc à 15h43
I just recently purchased the Steam version after seeing the many mods availible for it, (I used to play the XBOX360 version) and I saw this mod and I was like "YES! Now I won't feel so guilty for being unable to save them in the middle of a dragon attack."

I haven't started playing yet because I'm looking for a mod to let you see wild animals/enemies easier. Why? Well time for a story!
Back when I played the 360 version, anywhere that I would go that wasn't a town or a city, I would always be ambushed from behind, whether it was a Bandit, a Skeevers, or even those ugly looking Spiders.
And I've become traumatised by it. (Well, more like I flinch in fear for like 1 second, then I turn around and when I see who is attacking me, and I flinch again for another second. (If it is big like the aforementioned spiders or a troll, I'm panicing like crazy and running for my life.))

Ok well was an idea worth looking into...

It's not really possible to do a generic modifier for something like this. The one for the Civil War is pretty specific in what it does, as are this one and the vampire one.

Best bet would be for the author of the random encounter mod to either not make them happen in cities, or to provide a system similar to what I've done here so that an encounter in a city will make the NPCs take cover. Or at the very least put them in protected aliases so they don't just die for no good reason.
Valtheran88 14 déc à 14h16
Anyway you can modify this for ANY advanced combat? Maybe using the seige of whiterun ai structure?

I have a chance encounter mod which means that when I fast travel I have a % based odds of being ambushed/followed or attacked by bounty hunters..This means when I travel to a place like whiterun and 5 bandit chief level thugs and a bandit mage begin attacking me the entire town comes to my aid...As sweet as that is watching the local blacksmith and peasants get their faces cleaved open with a battle axe before me and my followers can save them...Makes it so i have to force resurrect people I would not like to.

Maybe a modifier that when an attacker is x levels stronger an npc seeks shelter.

Great. I'm going to us this mod. I like mods like this, not much on adding new content because I love vanilla so much. But things that are annoying, like exetremely brave citizens taking on a fire breathing moster, well I mod for stuff like that. Now they will stop taking my kills D:< Improves the game a lot.

This mod saved me a lot of times...why? because I've being mad for all the time the citizien died during a dragon attack, and what if I needed them for a quest ? (this happened) or just wanted to talk to them or what about the merchants? GREAT just great idea, and it should be normal to run and hide from a dragon, unless you are too much curious or stupid xD
Figgie 26 nov à 17h52
PS <3 this mod

ONE FOR WEREWOLVES?!
NaughtiusMaximus 26 nov à 0h01
Does anyone know how to undo a bug that sounds like i just casted a healing spell on myself or just got hit with an ice spell that never goes away? If anyone has any idea that would be awesome because in all honestly it just ruins the audio experience of the game. (not a bug related to this mod i'm pretty sure)
ZombieGoo 25 nov à 12h03
I like both this mod and the vampire one you have, but one of them kept resulting in the people of Riften running away without there being either a dragon or vampires attacking. It happened several times, but only in Riften.
Mine Builder1912 15 nov à 13h45
I'll have you know sir that my horse is very smart, and therefore shouldn't be discriminated against by this mod (joking - this mod is perfect)
whatukno 6 nov à 14h22
This mod is completely essential for everyone, it damn well should have been shipped with the vanilla game.
Doctor "DJ" Jones 21 oct à 15h40
Klimmek didnt run when a dragon attacked ivarsted. Everyone else ran but him and my followers.
michelle.bourgoyne 14 oct à 17h41
Does this affect the start of the game (i.e. the events at Helgen)?
mindfreeze1001 10 oct à 23h51
FIANLLY I don't have to walk miles because the town drunk pulled a dovahkiin (after I used marked for death btw) thank-you for making this mod
The Great Jeehawd 7 oct à 13h47
Great! No longer do i have to reload because Dumbass McIdiot decided to run at those gnashing teeth!
talynamber 4 oct à 6h34
Ah, I am trying to access the donation link to paypal, as I think your work should be supported. Can't do it. Is there another way?
JantoZ 2 oct à 7h00
I'm still finding the inhabitants of Riverwood ignoring this mod. Anybody know why?
fcbcobos 28 sept à 11h01
thks
Simon Gaudet 20 sept à 15h00
Nice mod, but peoples stay inside in Whiterun now and I can't made quests without lockpicking. :S
T01 Ghost Alphonse Reicher 19 sept à 21h56
This is by all means useful in all aspects.
Malebug 19 sept à 0h17
Oh dear God thank you!
cloudleonhart14 15 sept à 14h48
a perfect mod for dragons that attack when you're in a town. No more influential characters dying because of their stupid idea of attacking the invading dragon.
xion_xvi 13 sept à 5h05
This mod... is like a godsend. I am so tired of having to check on the local merchants to ensure my favorite shops in town won't be forced to close (I've had that happen before) all because the civilian running said shop was too... silly to run away from a friggin' DRAGON, even though most character's dialogue suggests they are frightened of the dragons and the threat they pose. The inherent inconsistancy of such actions aside, it leaves the player hoping the citizens are smart enough to run, only for him/her to be disappointed and/or down a shopkeeper/marriage candidate or two.
Poweredbipussie 13 sept à 2h24
ultimate dragons and http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26393/? seeing she does die well i just downloaded her and love her missions and additions but i dont wanna make the mistake of downaloading and her running away lol ?! so i figure i ask :) thank u and sorry if this was already answered i apprciate ur time !
Volkerball 2 sept à 6h20
Is this supposed to be compatible with your other mod, When Vampires Attack? Because when I have both mods running at the same time, people in Whiterun stay permanently huddled in their homes and shops, as if the town is being attacked.
devinf 29 août à 8h31
Finally no letters of inheritans
GET IN THE HOLIDAY SPIRIT 21 août à 20h54
i was playing skyrim earlier and when i fast traveled to riverwood a frost dragon appeard after he was weak, I saw a raggedy old man doing the killmove where you ride the dragons head... he then looked at me and said in a scruffy old man voice "good to see skyrim still has so many young people" oh and also all he was wearing were ragged clothes.
*the_Axeman* 19 août à 2h26
Mine doesn't work; I've had 3 dragon attacks and 10+ vampire/bandit/forswarn invasions, every citizen besides the homeless ones still run to fights and get destroyed
strikhedonia13 18 août à 10h44
This is perfect, now I don't have to worry about merchants and people I have quests for getting killed like idiots because they decide to get into a fistfight with a dragon.
Ursus Mundanus 16 août à 4h21
I only wish that I found this before half the merchants in my game were dead in the ground. A must have for higher difficulties.
sapienta 13 août à 23h10
This is perfect. I have lost so many shop/stall owners because they all try to bumrush the dragons. Thank you.
Derpy Hooves 13 août à 1h20
Oh wait, thats your mods. Stupid me. Well, i`ll get back to you later today with a list of the mods i got subscribed right now.
Derpy Hooves 13 août à 1h18
I just tested it out and i can see which mods that you got in your preferred tab. Just go to my user page and check with my skyrim or just try to mess around. Maybe you can find something.
Arthmoor  [créateur] 12 août à 21h41
Didn't know it was possible to see another user's subscribed list. How would I do that?
Derpy Hooves 12 août à 17h30
Perhaps you can check through my subscribed mod list and find which one it is if you know which one cause them to appear. I dont want to waste time on killing three oversized dragons again. And that means i can subscribe to your mod again. Damn civilians need to think smart when there is a dragon attack.
Arthmoor  [créateur] 12 août à 15h02
Those "Heavenly Dragons" come from some other mod. So long as they've been properly set up to register as dragons, everything should work fine with the NPCs.
Derpy Hooves 12 août à 6h17
Hey Arthmoor. I think there may be a issue with your mod. After i got it and went to Morthal, three dragons appeared. And it wasn`t three ancient or legendary dragons. No, these fellas are humongous and are named Heavanly Dragon. They jsut kept circling around over the vicinity and not i could barely manage to get them down with Dragonrend. But when they did land on the ground, they turned invisible, but their enemey indicator on the compass in the top still stayed. And when they landed on a building, their wings friggin reached the ground. I could barely damage them before they took off. Its like a fly trying to kill a elephant. Completely impossible.
awave 9 août à 14h29
awesome, thanks for the quick reply!
Arthmoor  [créateur] 9 août à 14h11
That wouldn't be a conflict since Wet & Cold would be intentionally running its own routine. That routine would end when the storm is over. It has no relationship with the dragon attack event.
awave 9 août à 13h23
with the mod 'wet and cold' npcs return indoors when it rains. would this mod conflict with that one at all? like if a dragon attacks right as it starts to rain or if it stops raining right as a dragon attacks, etc...?
sad0clown 5 août à 0h43
thank you for your mod! your work is appreciate ...hope i m not alone! 8-)
snakepaws 2 août à 15h03
I have to say, I wish I'd found this before one of the Bard's College quest-givers ended up a corpse in a dragon attack. Luckily, this is PC, and a few console commands later, everything was peachy. Either way, I can see this being quite useful for those not in the mood to Google and figure out how to make the console work in their favor.
cmdunn1337 1 août à 13h57
You may very well have saved the lives of many with this mod... Damn squishy peeps.
NOHAX 30 juil à 14h57
Nevermind, it doesn't seem to have anything to do with this mod in particular.
NOHAX 30 juil à 13h15
I encountered a glitch during the very first dragon battle right outside Whiterun. For some reason, Irileth the Housecarl and her squad of guards ran off during the fight. After killing the dragon, I found them scattered around the watchtower in fetal positions, refusing to talk to me and making it impossible to continue the main quest. It should be noted that the dragon didn't dissolve either, for some reason.
Lurid Jester 25 juil à 21h07
Mod appeared to get ignored in Riverrun. Prior to the dragon landing in the town, it circled over the river for... let's just say it circled for a while. A painfully long "awhile". Anyway, it landed on the gate archway a few times before finally landing near the lumber mill. By the time I got there, guards were shooting it with arrows and the blacksmith had decided to go all bare knucckle brawler on it.

Not sure if the blacksmith counts as a civilian or not, but he survived the attack.

Still, any efforts to keep the civilian population from putting their squishy selves in the line of fire gets two thumbs up from me.
Derek 23 juil à 21h48
I encountered a bug with this mod: When I was in Falkreath, a dragon attack occured and this mod (I'm assuming) made my companion (Jenassa) run indoors, as well.
