Dont think of them as glorified portals, think of them as ways to twist your player in circles. Make the worldportals go to different places depending on the side you come thru. That way, people cant just turn around and go back where they came, they end up somewhere completely new :)

As has already been mentioned, the world portals are a bit visually buggy with the laser. I'm no expert when it comes to mapmaking, but from noclipping around the map it seems like the placement of the world portals in the room where the laser enters aren't quite synced up with the part of the room where the laser exits, resulting in the laser overlaping itself. Then again, I probably have no idea what I'm talking about.

Aside from worldportal visual bugs, in the funnel room it's possible to accidentally get the redirection cube stuck in the dispenser if the funnel is turned back on as soon as the dispenser opens. There needs to be a way to fizzle the cube when it gets stuck in order to prevent the player from having to kill themselves and restart.

Despite that, it's a fun level and I'd like to see more Non-Euclidean puzzles in the future.

I had a problem, don't know if anyone else had this, with the worldportals bending the laser so it missed the last box. Don't know if it's just my computer or something with the level, other than that it's a great level!

The orange gel run was where i had some difficulty, haha! But really I just had to learn to slow down in time xD
As far as the ending, there seems to be a bit of visual gaps when it comes to the lasers, but I digress, as I really do love World Portals ^-^

If you're going to build from the preview.bsp, make sure to save the file separately, and set the $no_player_start to 1 in the entry and exit hallways.

I have the same problem as LPChip, but i agree that otherwise it's a pretty good level! However, the "reastarting" thing is annoying, I'm guessing you edited a PTI level in hammer. I suggest you DON'T use the build from the preview...

I had not much problems beating the chamber. My only problem was that I missed a pedestal button and such one area was unreachable. Searched the other puzzles to see if I missed something when I finally found the pedestal button.

The puzzle needs a fix though. In the end it says restarting rather than showing an elevator with vote options.

The bounce gel part is not impossible, as I did it after a couple tries, without "glitching" myself (how exactly do you do that, BTW?). The speed gel, however, is indeed incredibly frustrating. After a dozen tries, the player is no longer trying to solve a puzzle, and this drags your whole chamber down.

The blue floor challenge is technically impossible, as jumping from the second highest platform does not bounce you high enough to reach the highest platform. As such, I was forced to glitch myself onto the platform with a laser cube. The orange floor challenge is incredibly frustrating. The tractor beam puzzle can be beaten by placing a redirection cube from another puzzle onto the button. The final laser puzzle is really easy, and wastes the potential of the non-eucilidean elements presented.
