Just noticed I am not using this mod but it still loads in my game lol. :3. Love those kinds of bugs, or did Bethesda release it ingame? :3.

You can't sell those gems normally unless you have a mod that makes them droppable (turns off the Quest Item flag)

Will the markers appear on merchants I sold the gems to? I sold some of them before taking them to Vex. :/

Could be a mod conflict. Try moving it to the bottom of your load order.

and the nexus mod manager is a much cleaner way of doing this than with the launcher because it will let you disable the mod without the launcher and without worrying about the status of the subscription on steam - as long as you do not open the launcher in the meantime, which should not be a problem since you use skse

aah but no the procedure is to save your game and then relaunch with the mod disabled
it will give you a warning but the game should load fine

but ideally you also try the opposite - where all other mods are disabled

from the screenshot you clearly have many other mods (well okay, technically all I can see is probably just the one interface mod)

A change in language is most likely from a mod that alters the location in question, or touches strings files in general

Okay, what would be a good procedure for this? I go to the launcher disable your mod, then close the launcher launch the skse, run skyrim, once I get in-game, I save and exit out, re-enable the mod and see if it works? Seems good to me I will see if this works,

That would be an extremely strange bug that makes zero sense given that I don't even have a german version of the game

100% positive, I have seen others have this problem, they have this mod as well, this was the only mod that all the people who had the problem and me have in common. If it is not this mod, I am sorry for wasting your time.

This mod is a saviour, I'm just about to do the quest and reading the guide is giving me a headache. I wonder if anyone is able to complete the quest without reading the guide, it seems impossible!

It works fine with SKSE for me. Perhaps you needed the launcher to enable it first.

To SKSE users : start the normal skyrim instead of the SKSE one for the mod to work, fixed it that way.
