I just want to point something out here. People keep saying how Slenderman is 'overused' and such. The truth of the matter is, there are only one or two *actual* finished games that use him. The rest are all either concepts, or games in progress, and some will either change the creature or not be finished at all, so I don't see what the fuss is about. Yes, a lot of indie devs have expressed an *interest* in him but in reality there are few finished "Slenderman" products. Everyone seems to be jumping the gun.

I rated the project up, but let me say that music's totally wrongly chosen here.

slender man is great but its over used and it would just be put in with just another slender game. try some thing new like the Rake dont have it just look at you from far away get it close. pass by windows, hall ways, hell have him attack the player right at the start but dosnt kill them yet to keep them from knowing when it will. if it isnt a jump scare game it should be good.

Fav'd. I'd like to see where you go with the suggestions that were given. : ) Looking forward to seeing your progress. I do like the idea of including multiple, randomly generated monsters for each playthrough.

Scary? But not much else. Some more plot would be nice.

Trailer spoiled the game.... you are not alone :S

I say keep slenderman but every time you start a new game, a different monster is made so you'll never know what to prepare for. Will it be Slenderman? The rake? Mothman? Something new?

I am not sure if I can emphasize enough how poor the music choice was for the trailer. Also, I was expecting something other than a slenderman game. The landscapes that I saw could make for a very exciting large-scale survival horror, but the fact that it is another slender-type game causes me to push it aside. There are too many games that have you running from a single entity that you cannot fight. I suppose what I am trying to say is, take the island map idea and turn it into an actual survival horror instead of just a 'walk briskly away from the creepy formally dressed caucasian.'

another slenderman game? oh come on.....

You could make this really good or it will just suck. Make your game have more to do then just run around pointlessly. It would be nice to to be able to build/create items and buildings out of raw material. Kind of like Stranded 2 but wth more of a survival twist to it.

Love it or despise it, Slenderman is pervasively the most memetic internet sensation right now. Those who know it and like it, will flock to your game regardless of the quality of your game, and those that abhor Slenderman and all things associated with it will avoid it like the plague, and generate a massive amount of hate and disgust towards yet another unoriginal, overdone, bandwagon hopping, opportunistic money grab. Either way it's bad for you, why? Because even if people like it, they most certainly don't like your game, they'll only like it because lolololololol Slenderman is in it.

Anything with Slender in it will undoubtedly be anything but the scariest game ever.

I saw the logo and I thought "I bet this is one of those Slenderman games" almost as a joke to myself. Then I watched the video, and it's another game where the player is wandering around in an environment with no apparent gameplay other than wandering... And yep, hey there's Slenderman. How predictable and uncreative can you get?
Skoardy Nov 17, 2012 @ 12:10pm
Is Slender going to be the Pac-man clone of this generation?
Theevenger Nov 17, 2012 @ 12:10pm
I think this looks really good. My only comment for you on the trailer is that when the text that says "but are you really alone?" does that static thing don't have it do it twice and change directions. Just have it do it once.
TYLER, THE CREATOR Nov 17, 2012 @ 10:10am
A www. .. I thought this might be something other than Slenderman. Oh well. I will still play it. :P
